Capital Insulation redid the insulation, built large storage platform, and installed pull-down stairs in our townhouse attic five years ago, and we routinely talk about how that was the best money we spent in our home. Karl was knowledgeable and patient and recommended the right-size solution for us. His team was friendly, efficient, and so tidy, but the outcome was amazing. Before the project, we used space heaters in the basement and the upstairs was always too warm; afterward the whole house stayed comfortable year-round, and we put the space heaters in storage. No hot or cold spots and our electric bills dropped immediately! The additional storage was also a huge bonus for buyers when we went to sell the house last month. Between the energy savings and the increased sales price, I think we got more than our money back. The first thing I did when we moved into a new house this month was call for an estimate, and we look forward to using Capital's services again next month :)

We live in the Signal Hill neighborhood and our house is 46 years old. Capital Insulation replaced the insulation in our attic 2 weeks ago. The whole experience was excellent. John and his people are terrific. Can't recommend them highly enough.

We had a wonderful experience with Prudent Homes. We hired them to clean out and re-insulate the attic, and their attention to detail was wonderful. Furthermore, they were above and beyond, helping us to reinstall the floor after they had taken it to seal the joints below. They even extended the floor to give us extra room for storage. They worked nonstop from 7 AM till 6 PM. Edgar, The project manager was phenomenal and David, the owner, was extremely helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Prudent Homes Insulation to replace the insulation in my attic and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the entire experience. David (the owner) came to give the initial estimate and his knowledge, experience, and expertise were immediately evident. He shared valuable information about all of the different insulation options to help me make my decision. The estimate he provided was very fair – $1,700 less than an estimate I received previously from another company for an 850 sq/ft attic. The work I had done included: vacuuming out the old cellulose insulation, re-connecting all of the bathroom vent pipes running through the attic, prepping the attic with anti-bacterial and anti-pest treatment, spraying closed-cell foam insulation, installing a pull-down staircase, and relocating a recessed light that needed to be moved. From start to finish, David was easily reachable, responsive, and accountable. The insulation team was punctual, thorough, and precise. They finished all the work in two days. I felt that they completed the job efficiently without cutting any corners, and the workmanship/results exceeded my expectations. We contracted with Comfenergy for insulation removal, air-sealing, and new insulation at a historic hotel renovation we are managing while the building remains occupied. Access was difficult and we had to protect finished areas and Guests below. Their crews showed up consistently, worked clean, coordinated with other trades, and stayed on schedule. They installed an attic catwalk system, sealed penetrations properly, and completed the work without disrupting the hotel's operations. We had zero issues during the project and the Owners are extremely satisfied with the results. I would absolutely hire them again for future projects.

We chose this company based on some coworkers recommendations (I am a licensed realtor of 20 years in this area) and the crew went above and beyond expectations. Final product (new attic insulation) replaced what was most likely original insulation, is now to code for our county and will pass any home inspection. I had quite a lesson on attics from this company and learned a lot during the process. We also want to give a special shout out and thank you to Carlos on the install team. He noticed some electrical items that needed to be addressed in the attic before new insulation went in, otherwise we would not have known. Melvin and his phenomenal team air-sealed and insulated my entire attic assembly - including R60 on both flat and sloped surfaces. The team also encapsulated the duct system and applied a radiant barrier. I am already noticing considerable changes in ambient temperature and air circulation on the top floor, as well as in certain rooms. I also want to thank Jason for the thorough review and discussion of options and for describing the costs and benefits of each solution. I learned a lot in the process. Unlike other HVAC and insulation companies I contacted, they responded promptly to my initial inquiry, actually arrived and were here in the window they gave me, didn't try to upsell me on a home energy audit after I already knew what I wanted, responded to follow up phone calls, didn't tell me it was impossible to do the job I needed, and actually completed the job. I should have gone to them in the first place rather than spend months begging other companies to take my money.

Two thumbs up! Everyone involved was fantastic! Kevin was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and polite. Laid out a few options and what he recommended and why. He answered all my silly questions and hypotheticals. His price was a little higher than all of our other bids, but he offered MUCH more than the competitors. Installers were thorough and transparent, cleaned up when they were finished and gave us a run down of all work completed. Our Whole family noticed a MAJOR difference within hours of completion. Heat pump not constantly running, Outside noise dampened, the house heatsbup and holds heat SOO much better. Thank you! thank you! to D.E.S. and their team. Highly recommend

Kevin came for clear review and inspection, told me what was and want needed and avoided upsetting me on things I thought I might need. Crew came quickly, at time advertised, was clean, consistent, and answered questions about the work being done well. Left the same day with great clean up. Cost me $2500ish for my attic insulation and way better than I'd have done myself. Would definitely recommend.
