We had a wonderful experience with Prudent Homes. We hired them to clean out and re-insulate the attic, and their attention to detail was wonderful. Furthermore, they were above and beyond, helping us to reinstall the floor after they had taken it to seal the joints below. They even extended the floor to give us extra room for storage. They worked nonstop from 7 AM till 6 PM. Edgar, The project manager was phenomenal and David, the owner, was extremely helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Prudent Homes Insulation to replace the insulation in my attic and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the entire experience. David (the owner) came to give the initial estimate and his knowledge, experience, and expertise were immediately evident. He shared valuable information about all of the different insulation options to help me make my decision. The estimate he provided was very fair – $1,700 less than an estimate I received previously from another company for an 850 sq/ft attic. The work I had done included: vacuuming out the old cellulose insulation, re-connecting all of the bathroom vent pipes running through the attic, prepping the attic with anti-bacterial and anti-pest treatment, spraying closed-cell foam insulation, installing a pull-down staircase, and relocating a recessed light that needed to be moved. From start to finish, David was easily reachable, responsive, and accountable. The insulation team was punctual, thorough, and precise. They finished all the work in two days. I felt that they completed the job efficiently without cutting any corners, and the workmanship/results exceeded my expectations. We had an excellent experience with Prudent Homes! They removed our old insulation, sealed the attic, and installed new fiberglass to improve comfort throughout our home. We contracted with Comfenergy for insulation removal, air-sealing, and new insulation at a historic hotel renovation we are managing while the building remains occupied. Access was difficult and we had to protect finished areas and Guests below. Their crews showed up consistently, worked clean, coordinated with other trades, and stayed on schedule. They installed an attic catwalk system, sealed penetrations properly, and completed the work without disrupting the hotel's operations. We had zero issues during the project and the Owners are extremely satisfied with the results. I would absolutely hire them again for future projects.

We chose this company based on some coworkers recommendations (I am a licensed realtor of 20 years in this area) and the crew went above and beyond expectations. Final product (new attic insulation) replaced what was most likely original insulation, is now to code for our county and will pass any home inspection. He noticed some electrical items that needed to be addressed in the attic before new insulation went in, otherwise we would not have known. Melvin and his phenomenal team air-sealed and insulated my entire attic assembly - including R60 on both flat and sloped surfaces. The team also encapsulated the duct system and applied a radiant barrier. I am already noticing considerable changes in ambient temperature and air circulation on the top floor, as well as in certain rooms. I also want to thank Jason for the thorough review and discussion of options and for describing the costs and benefits of each solution. I learned a lot in the process. Home Energy Medics did a terrific job in upgrading our home! We received a home energy audit from Matt C. and Ben E. -- they were very knowledgeable, thorough, and explained everything they were doing and their results. They made helpful recommendations, while also not pushing for upgrades that didn't make financial sense. We decided to have them insulate our attic, fix some poor ductwork on our heat pump, and Aeroseal our ducts, replace our bathroom exhaust fans and fix the ducting for them, along with a few other fixes to leaks and gaps in our attic and walls. We were out of town during the work, and they provided regular updates to keep us informed and in the loop. We are very pleased with the quality of the work -- we were warmer in the winter, and we're cooler in the summer. Thanks to Scott, Matt, Ben, and the whole team!

They came out on time and gave a detailed and reasonable insulation quote, but more importantly they also addressed the attic ecosystem via simple air sealing / baffles, as humid hot attics cause serious damage to both roof wood and shingles, which I had no idea until my roofer said the same thing.
