Spray Foam Insulation in Salem, OR

I had a raccoon tear up all my ducts in my crawlspace--horrible mess, unfortunately. Ahren and his team went above and beyond to help me figure out my options. We had a great experience working with Ahren and his crew adding insulation to our attic and walls. Our house was built in 1956 and still has most of the original windows so it was very drafty and impossible to keep warm and cozy no matter how high we set the furnace. Since the insulation project the house is so much warmer even with keeping the thermostat set at 63 vs 71 before the project. Definitely worth the investment.

Had Ahren and his crew insulate our ductwork and floor. They did an excellent job at a fair price and were responsive and helpful when an unrelated plumbing issue came up in the same space. They came highly recommended and now I highly recommend them!

Salem Deck and Fence finished replacing our rather large deck last week in south Salem, and we couldn’t be happier. Mike and Ryan showed up when they said they would and after taking some measurements and choosing some samples they had a quote to us in just a few minutes. Their easy going demeanors and professionalism is what helped sell us on choosing them. They started the deck when they said they would, kept the work area clean and finished right on time. It was a pleasure having them and the crew out here, I know our dogs will miss them too. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again in the future for any deck or fence needs.

Wonderful experience with these guys replacing a fence post in our old fence! Ryan was fantastic to work with! Responsive, courtious, and fit us in very quickly. He was very understanding of the fact that we did not have the budget for a full fence replacement right now, didn't try to pressure or upsell us into doing so, and gave us a very reasonable rate for the repair. He and his teammate were polite, tidy, quick, and came orepared with everything they needed, even extra boards, just in case which we did end up needing. I'm really impressed, and I will definitely have them back out when we're ready to do a full replace!

Anytime we need something done with our home we call Total Comfort Weatherization. We had them replace a bunch of siding, windows and a sliding door so far. Tim is great he knew exactly what we wanted and it all looks perfect. The team took really good care of our things during the install with zero problems. Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. Every winter, our house always felt cold. In the fall and winter, it always felt drafty and never seemed to hold the heat. Summers were a different story. Our kitchen window would not open. When we used the oven, the heat was unbearable. Our office and master bathrooms opened with cranks and had no screens. When we opened them to let in the breeze, it also allowed entry to insects. This all changed when we hired Total Comfort Weatherization. In the fall of 2024, we had them install insulation in the walls and ceilings throughout our house. We immediately noticed the difference – the house seemed warmer and held the heat much longer. In the spring of 2025, we had them replace nine windows – six in three bedrooms and one each in the master bathroom, kitchen and office. We also had them install a new fan, with a timer, in the master bathroom. Their workers attached it to an existing vent – something the prior owners never did. They also did the same for existing fans for the oven and another bathroom. Now the house is no longer drafty - it holds the heat in the winter and stays cooler in the summer. We can open these new windows to enjoy cool summer breezes or allow the kitchen to cool after oven use. The fans have really helped with venting moisture and the miscellaneous from the kitchen and bathrooms. And we rarely hear outside noise due to the insulation and windows. This last winter and this current spring, even after two relatives moved in, our utility bills have stabilized! This summer we are expecting the same. We highly recommend Total Comfort Weatherization to everyone. Their experience, work crews and customer service are top-notch, and their prices are reasonable. We will definitely hire them again for any future window or related work.

This review is long overdue, but I have used Valley Insulation twice and at two different houses, and both times the service was exceptional! Cassidy especially handled a very frustrating rescheduling situation very professionally. Their work is of the highest quality, and the team works efficiently. Recently, I had my crawl space inspected, and after almost 3 years, the report was exemplary and they only mentioned dust. This just proves the quality of the work done by Valley Insulation! Although I ended up using a company from my local area, I must say that Cassidy was very generous in giving insight and recommendations for other aspects of my wet crawl space resolution, which was the result of a broken pipe. I am an elderly widow who had no idea what to do or who to call. He was a blessing in giving me direction and suggestions. By reading the other reviews I am certain that they do very good work also.

Living on the coast it is sometimes difficult to find contractors. This company is based in Salem, but does coastal jobs. We needed the insulation under our manufactured home removed and replaced. Got an estimate via email. The price was not the cheapest, but they were the most professional company that we received bids from. Their crew came to WORK! Showed up early, took one small break and left our yard clean. They provided before and after photos as requested. I highly recommend this company!

Great work and they fixed my door. Something not required. My place is really windy and my door got damaged while i was gone. They fixed it. Plus they were so trustworthy that i just had my friend let them in to the house. They did the work abd repair of the front door and left it cleaner than i did. Great work and fast.

A builder in Silverton recommended this company to me. I am just a home owner that will never need insulation blown into my attic again. They showed up and completed the job while I was at work, everything was spot on. When I got my bill I noticed it was about $100 less than they quoted. When I inquired why they said they were able to book another job in Silverton on the same day and were able to reduce travel costs by sharing them with the other customer. I thought that was impressive as they could have charged me full price and I would have never known and been just as happy with their work. I like honest people...
