Positive Energy has been a great company to work with. Our home (1950s house) had ZERO insulation in our attic space. Dewitt came out to our house, evaluated the attic, and explained everything he recommended very well. He made things easy to understand and was very straightforward regarding his recommendations and pricing. What we paid was more than fair and the work they did was excellent. They cleaned up well afterwards and were respectful of our whole home. We noticed an immediate difference in the comfort level upstairs, and are now reaping the energy benefits as winter has set in. Overall, very pleased and would highly recommend PENC for all insulating needs!

Could not recommend PENC enough!! Dewitt and Karen were awesome. They took the time to explain multiple different options of spray foam, coatings, and colors. They worked through my building size changes - several times. And they explained how each would work, what goes into it, (even did a cool fire demo). I recently hired Positive Energy of North Carolina to encapsulate my home's attic and crawl space with spray foam insulation. DeWitt promptly responded to my query to inspect my house and provide a competitive estimate. Once the deposit was paid, Dewitt promptly did the job and dramatically improved my home's comfort. I could not be happier with this crew. Highly recommend them! Sprayed a large metal building for me. I definitely got more foam than I paid for. I did my research and got several quotes. ESI was traveling from far away and still reasonably priced. They answered all my questions and even showed me how it all worked. The application is smoother than any other jobs I’ve seen. Oscar and his team are outstanding to work with. He was able to provide a more than fair quote from my measurements. His communication is outstanding. He provided knowledge and recommendations that made the job even better than I was expecting. The foam has reduced the temperature in the building by at least 15 degrees. The building has an exhaust fan and the amount of time the fan is running has decreased significantly after adding the foam. I highly recommend working with Oscar and his crew. They are top notch and highly competent with the foam product.

Wow. Excellent service throughout the entire process. Ryo, Miles and his team were sincere, thoughtful, honest, and did a fantastic job. The difference is like night and day after the injection spray foam and attic insulation completion. It is now warm and cozy with no air draft. Exterior noise has greatly been decreased. Had the plastic sheets on our crawl space dirt floor replaced and upgraded with new, thicker, better vapor barrier that is sealed to walls and pillars. Also added a commercial dehumidifier to address summertime dampness. Tony’s team of Chris, Patrick and Parker were here for about 8 hours. I inspected at completion and they immediately took care of a few issues. Looking forward to reorganizing and using my dry, clean new looking crawl space for storage. Thanks guys!

We recently solicited several estimates for sealing our attic and upgrading the insulation. After careful consideration, we ultimately did not chose to go with Insulation Commandos of Raleigh-Durham but we felt compelled to leave them a glowing reference based on our interactions with Chris. Chris, came to our home and gave us an honest and complete assessment of our attic and provided us a very competitive quotation while he was here. Our family cannot be happier with the project Home Shield Insulation did for us. From the very beginning of our complimentary quote to project completion, this company is impressive! We have a 2023 build but still experienced issues with the "barely passing code" quality of builder grade insulation in our unused attic space which affected every inch of our usable, livable space. First, HSI removed old insulation. Then, HSI did a thorough job to seal around all light fixtures, bathroom vents, air system ducts, and any other gaps they found. Finally, HSI added 14 inches of blown in cellulose with minimal mess but a thoughtful cleanup. It was a big, 1-day project, and the crew was productive and professional the whole day. We started feeling our home be more energy efficient that same night!

General nc insulation has now spray foamed our current home as well as our previous home. The AC in our upstairs could not keep up during 90+ degree days. Insulation solved the problem. Hhey are very professional to work with and they did a great job. Definitely recommend.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this company! First, their price was unbeatable (we got five quotes). Second, their commitment to customer satisfaction was truly exceptional. We hired them to encapsulate our crawlspace—they installed a new vapor barrier, removed the old floor insulation, added foam board on the walls, installed a dehumidifier, and more. When the dehumidifier produced a slight humming sound, the owner came out multiple times to make sure it wasn’t bothering us. They even added extra insulation to reduce the noise—at no additional cost. It’s rare to find a company that combines great pricing with outstanding service. I give them an A++ and would recommend them without hesitation!

We wanted to seal the crawlspace of our new house in September, and I contacted five different companies to come out and give me quotes. There are a variety of techniques out there (encapsulated, HVAC open/closed, dehumidifier or not, etc) which was difficult to navigate. Chris from Livegreen came out and explained their process thoroughly yet simply, sharing pictures of what to expect as he explained. As well as being the most competitive price, we decided that the Livegreen method sounded like the one with the least amount of hassle/maintenance (no dehumidifier maintenance). The week before we moved in, Livegreen came by and cleaned out the crawlspace and sealed it. The team was professional and friendly and did a fantastic job. The crawlspace looks great and 3+ months on we are very happy with it. It is so nice to have a clean, sealed space under the house if you have the unfortunate need to go crawling around in there (our plumbers were very happy too). It supposedly helps with electricity bills as well, but of course we have no prior bills to compare it to. Nonetheless, we happily recommend the Livegreen team!

Chris from Live Green just came out to inspect my crawl space. I was sure it had mold and standing water (as another company told me last week). Chris said he found no mold, no water. He talked with me at length and said that our home does not need work in the crawl space. He was the most honest, knowledgeable, helpful person. Use this company. Tell your friends!

Dave and the team were easy to work with, responsive with questions and timely with their completion of the project. They installed the glass shower enclosure quickly and at an excellent price as well. Would use them again in the future and would recommend them for friends and family!

Tri City did a great job on our attic. They showed up on time, put down plastic and protective measures, and were finished quickly. The installation team asked me to check their work and made some final touch ups and were done quickly! Great experience all around.

Had spray foam and crawlspace plastic installed. Worked with Brian and Nathan. Both were great to work with. Plenty of communication back and forth. Nathan did a really nice job cutting in the plastic around the piers. Would recommend them.
