Once we decided on the best plan, I was on the schedule in a week. The team showed up exactly as promised and worked an unbelievable 12 hours straight to get everything finished in a single day. I was blown away by how carefully they prepared and managed the job site. Their attention to safety and cleanliness was just as impressive as the finished product. They might look like a young crew to an old guy like me. But, they were absolute professionals. I’d hire them again in a heartbeat. 100% recommend.

Oscar and his team are outstanding to work with. He was able to provide a more than fair quote from my measurements. His communication is outstanding. He provided knowledge and recommendations that made the job even better than I was expecting. The foam has reduced the temperature in the building by at least 15 degrees. The building has an exhaust fan and the amount of time the fan is running has decreased significantly after adding the foam. I highly recommend working with Oscar and his crew. They are top notch and highly competent with the foam product.

This is a well run company. The people are professional, the work they do is top notch, and they even clean up after themselves. They weatherproofed our top floor/attic and insulated the eaves. Let's say if you don't go with this company, you'll be severally disappointed. The Carolina Weatherization team, (Matt, Eric, Chris and Brian) are phenomenal! I considered putting in insulation in October to support my energy costs and went through several quotes with other companies prior to selecting this team. I am incredibly happy that I reviewed this quote and chose this team. They let me know they were on the way prior to arrival, took impeccable care of my home by laying down cloth, wearing booties, and doing a bang up cleaning job prior to leaving. They were helpful in repairing a shelving unit and installing a brand new attic door to support all of their work. These gentlemen take pride in their work and it shows with how diligent they are in ensuring that the right steps are taking before, during, and after.

We just bought an older home that had some serious insulation issues in the attic. Carolina Weatherization came out today and it looks like an entirely different attic! The guys were so courteous and efficient - it was raining this morning and they took extra care to place drop clothes everywhere and cover their boots. Wow. Excellent service throughout the entire process. Ryo, Miles and his team were sincere, thoughtful, honest, and did a fantastic job. The difference is like night and day after the injection spray foam and attic insulation completion. It is now warm and cozy with no air draft. Exterior noise has greatly been decreased. After getting multiple quotes from different companies around the triangle I decided to go with Triangle Radiant Barrier based off the reviews and the price. They did my crawlspace encapsulation and I am extremely impressed and pleased with the results. From the start I knew the company was an honest company. I started with someone coming out to take photos and measurements, then had a zoom meeting with one of the owners to go over the price and upgrade options, and then had someone reach out to schedule. Once my install date came they had the old insulation and vapor barrier out, the fungus fogging and scrubbing, and new vapor barrier down in 2 days. Then a few days later they came out and did the spray foam in less than 1 day. Afterwards one of the owners came out and inspected the work and answered all my questions. As someone who is very picky on hiring companies, I can’t say enough about how good this company treated me and my home. I HIGHLY recommend going with them for your crawlspace needs!

You can trust what these guys say about attic and crawlspace insulation. They're total nerds about the subject (and I would know because I am one, too). They did two jobs for me, removing the insulation from my attic and encapsulating my crawlspace. The attic job was only part of what they normally do as I wanted to handle the rest of the work up there myself. Joseph (the owner) and Silas (regional manager) were professional and got the job done for a good price. Joseph also took time to help me understand what exactly I needed to do to properly air seal the attic myself. The encapsulation was also expertly done by Silas and an employee. The air in the house is now much cleaner and drier. The first week, my dehumidifier still ran quite a bit. However, it has since gotten much better as the house has dried out. I was gone this past week when we had two major rain events and the AC was not running much. When I returned, the dehumidifier had barely collected any water and the house was dry - the encapsulations has really done its job to shut out the moisture from the crawlspace and the rest of the house. The work was done for a really good price, too. I highly recommend them!

Recently purchased a 50 year old home and noticed this winter we were freezing despite a fire place, HVAC, and space heaters. We gave Home Shield Insulation a call and they confirmed what we suspected, we were lacking insulation and nothing had been sealed previously (See before picture with fiberglass insulation). This included the tops of the lights and fans not being sealed correctly causing conditioned air to leak into the attic. This coupled with a poor amount of insulation caused issues. The two after pictures tell the rest of the story. They removed all the old fiberglass and unused decking, sealed all the leaking areas, capped the lights and fans then sealed those, and applied spray foam seal wherever else it was needed. They then placed a healthy amount of all new insulation. From the 1st visit to my latest call with them, it has been a breeze. No pressure and no hassle. From the initial contact with Silas to the continued follow ups through out with Bryant and Joseph, I can tell they enjoy what they do and the process was easy and straight forward. The climate in our home is significantly improved and I look forward to seeing the savings on the utilities. I highly recommend them.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this company! First, their price was unbeatable (we got five quotes). Second, their commitment to customer satisfaction was truly exceptional. We hired them to encapsulate our crawlspace—they installed a new vapor barrier, removed the old floor insulation, added foam board on the walls, installed a dehumidifier, and more. When the dehumidifier produced a slight humming sound, the owner came out multiple times to make sure it wasn’t bothering us. They even added extra insulation to reduce the noise—at no additional cost. It’s rare to find a company that combines great pricing with outstanding service. I give them an A++ and would recommend them without hesitation!

We wanted to seal the crawlspace of our new house in September, and I contacted five different companies to come out and give me quotes. There are a variety of techniques out there (encapsulated, HVAC open/closed, dehumidifier or not, etc) which was difficult to navigate. Chris from Livegreen came out and explained their process thoroughly yet simply, sharing pictures of what to expect as he explained. As well as being the most competitive price, we decided that the Livegreen method sounded like the one with the least amount of hassle/maintenance (no dehumidifier maintenance). The week before we moved in, Livegreen came by and cleaned out the crawlspace and sealed it. The team was professional and friendly and did a fantastic job. The crawlspace looks great and 3+ months on we are very happy with it. It is so nice to have a clean, sealed space under the house if you have the unfortunate need to go crawling around in there (our plumbers were very happy too). It supposedly helps with electricity bills as well, but of course we have no prior bills to compare it to. Nonetheless, we happily recommend the Livegreen team!

Chris from Live Green just came out to inspect my crawl space. I was sure it had mold and standing water (as another company told me last week). Chris said he found no mold, no water. I needed four services from EcoMaster: 1) install insulation on the rim joist of the crawlspace so that our encapsulated crawlspace would pass inspection, 2) install a crawlspace dehumidifier and 3) install the dehumidifier controller in the living space of our home. From my first meeting with Jonathan, I felt confident about EcoMaster. The crew that installed the insulation on the rim joist did a superb job. It passed inspection on the first try. EcoMaster provided one of the best rated crawlspace dehumidifiers on the market which I had extensively researched. They installed and set up the dehumidifier which is working properly now some months later. Danielle in the office always responds in a timely manner. If I were to need more work of the type EcoMaster offers, I would definitely use them again.

Jonathan and his crews did a great job sealing and insulating my OLD attic. They did an energy audit pre- and post- improvements and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! They also cleared out my crawlspace and completely replaced the vapor barrier. They worked diligently without taking breaks. Even though the job took longer than expected (as is often the case with older houses) they maintained their composure and provided high quality work. I'm extremely pleased with their work and would highly recommend them.

Tri City did a great job on our attic. They showed up on time, put down plastic and protective measures, and were finished quickly. The installation team asked me to check their work and made some final touch ups and were done quickly! Great experience all around.
