Positive Energy has been a great company to work with. Our home (1950s house) had ZERO insulation in our attic space. Dewitt came out to our house, evaluated the attic, and explained everything he recommended very well. He made things easy to understand and was very straightforward regarding his recommendations and pricing. What we paid was more than fair and the work they did was excellent. They cleaned up well afterwards and were respectful of our whole home. We noticed an immediate difference in the comfort level upstairs, and are now reaping the energy benefits as winter has set in. Overall, very pleased and would highly recommend PENC for all insulating needs!

They worked through my building size changes - several times. And they explained how each would work, what goes into it, (even did a cool fire demo). I recently hired Positive Energy of North Carolina to encapsulate my home's attic and crawl space with spray foam insulation. DeWitt promptly responded to my query to inspect my house and provide a competitive estimate. Once the deposit was paid, Dewitt promptly did the job and dramatically improved my home's comfort. Dewitt has a deep knowledge of home performance and building science. If the need arises, I will again hire Positive Energy of North Carolina.

Adam mounted many items in my apartment including the bedroom lamps, nightstands, TV’s, TV stand, key hanger and my dyson vacuum on the wall and took the time to make sure I liked the measurements before doing anything. Will highly recommend!

Although this was not how I wanted to spend our money, it was the best decision I made for the health of our house! The cupping hardwoods are gone and our floors look beautiful again. Our old dark, dirty, infested crawl space is now super clean & bright with additional lighting. It's super quiet and almost a great spot for meditation! I don't even want to put anything in there that hasn't been scrubbed clean. Get off the fence, call Adam!

We are extremely happy with our crawl space encapsulation - Charlie came out and took video/pictures/measurements of our crawlspace, then we met with Matt (via Zoom) and he went over his recommendations (they even have documents explaining what everything is for/does and the pro/cons) this is extremely helpful (you get a copy too)!! There are 'add on' options (a la carte) that you can also choose that go beyond their recommended scope (there is 0 pressure for these and I appreciated the available/transparent options to upgrade certain things with associated costs). I loved that you get a copy of all this info (pdf) and can look over it on your own time (again 0 pressure). We worked with Brian (project manager) and Jason and Marty came out and did the work. Everyone here is top notch 5 stars - extremely professional, respectful, kind, and highly skilled/thorough! We wanted some extra items and they were more than accommodating, beyond patient (we had a ton of questions), and offered helpful advice. Their prices are competitive if not better than everyone else (this is based on the 5 other quotes we got). They are 0 pressure and 100% customer service. They are extremely responsive and easy to get a hold of/work with. We have received two compliments from others on the work they did (an unaffiliated inspector and handyman). If you have the money- I'd recommend paying to have the lighting (it is transformative and Jason and Marty do an amazing job with it) and pay to go the permit route. Really pleased with this group - excellent service. Side note- they left the crawl space so clean - we joke that the barrier is cleaner than our floors in the house lol.

Overall a great company to work with. Had TRB do a crawlspace encapsulation on my very difficult to work in crawlspace. From start to finish everyone I interacted with was very professional. Everything step of the process was explained and carried out as planned. I would highly recommend them for your crawlspace needs. I had 3 different companies come out and quote the job. TRB provided the most comprehensive encapsulation at a price well below the other companies.

Triangle Radiant Barrier did a great job on my crawlspace some months ago. It looks good. The humidity sensors indicate the humidity dropped quite a bit. The tech was polite and professional. He left everything in a clean state each day. Wish I would have done this sooner. I got 5 different quotes for this job. Triangle Radiant Barrier was the right choice.

I could not be happier with this crew. Highly recommend them! Sprayed a large metal building for me. I definitely got more foam than I paid for. I did my research and got several quotes. ESI was traveling from far away and still reasonably priced. They answered all my questions and even showed me how it all worked. The application is smoother than any other jobs I’ve seen. Oscar and his team are outstanding to work with. He was able to provide a more than fair quote from my measurements. His communication is outstanding. He provided knowledge and recommendations that made the job even better than I was expecting. The foam has reduced the temperature in the building by at least 15 degrees. The building has an exhaust fan and the amount of time the fan is running has decreased significantly after adding the foam. I highly recommend working with Oscar and his crew. They are top notch and highly competent with the foam product.

Insulation Commandos was a great company to work with from the beginning until they finished. The scheduling was easy and they were up front with the pricing. They were willing to help us with our situation and removed the items from the attic before they began. Even though the weather was below freezing, they removed the old insulation and replaced it with the new all in a few hours. We had a medical incident with me and the workers helped my wife control the situation. My wife said they were wonderful in helping her, which could have turned into a much worse situation. Had the plastic sheets on our crawl space dirt floor replaced and upgraded with new, thicker, better vapor barrier that is sealed to walls and pillars. Also added a commercial dehumidifier to address summertime dampness. Tony’s team of Chris, Patrick and Parker were here for about 8 hours. I inspected at completion and they immediately took care of a few issues. Looking forward to reorganizing and using my dry, clean new looking crawl space for storage. Thanks guys!

Martin Martinez, Estiven Melgar, Grease Melgar and their entire team did a superior job on the spray form in my attic roof and attic walls. First and only estimate that I received. No need to waste my time getting more estimates after their quote. They came out the same week and did the entire job in a long 12 hour day. General nc insulation has now spray foamed our current home as well as our previous home. The AC in our upstairs could not keep up during 90+ degree days. Insulation solved the problem. Hhey are very professional to work with and they did a great job. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I had several quotes from different companies. Live Green was by far so much more fairly priced. We had our crawlspace encapsulated. The work was done in a timely manner and was done well. Brian was absolutely wonderful to work with and he was easy to communicate with. He always answered all my questions and returned my calls. I highly recommend Live Green. Hopefully Live Green will not raise their prices and continue to a great job like they did for me.

Great experience with the Live Green staff. Everything was great starting with Matt from sales listening and understanding what our problems were so he could come up with a solution. Got a quote same day and was the best we got. Scheduling the job was quick and seamless and they had availability in just a couple of days. Crew came out and were insightful and knowledgeable about what they were here to fix and how to fix it. The crew lead, Ivan, has ton of experience and made me feel at ease with everything. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this company! First, their price was unbeatable (we got five quotes). Second, their commitment to customer satisfaction was truly exceptional. We hired them to encapsulate our crawlspace—they installed a new vapor barrier, removed the old floor insulation, added foam board on the walls, installed a dehumidifier, and more. When the dehumidifier produced a slight humming sound, the owner came out multiple times to make sure it wasn’t bothering us. They even added extra insulation to reduce the noise—at no additional cost. It’s rare to find a company that combines great pricing with outstanding service. MPI Foam is legit. These folks know their trade inside and out. Consummate professionals. I am a GC here in the triangle and have relied on Scott and hos crew for many years. They do great work!

We tried rolled and blown insulation in our raised ranch attic. We then added a large whole house attic fan. Nothing helped during the hot, Raleigh summers. Two weeks ago we went to the Home show at the fairgrounds and met Shane, with MPI Foam. He explained what his company could do. Last week we had a team crawl into the attic and physically roll up and vacuum out all the insulation. This is an attic you can only crawl in, what a terrible task! They did a great job! The next day, the spray team went in and sprayed the foam, how they did it, I don’t know. The results are great. Our house is much cooler now and will be warmer this winter. Very pleased.

I had a small residential project about an hour east of Raleigh. These guys were great to work with. Showed up when they were supposed to, did the work quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up afterwards. Being in the construction industry myself, these are rarities to find. Scott was very informative and always answered anytime I had a question. I would highly recommend these folks to anyone needing spray foam insulation.

I needed four services from EcoMaster: 1) install insulation on the rim joist of the crawlspace so that our encapsulated crawlspace would pass inspection, 2) install a crawlspace dehumidifier and 3) install the dehumidifier controller in the living space of our home. From my first meeting with Jonathan, I felt confident about EcoMaster. The crew that installed the insulation on the rim joist did a superb job. It passed inspection on the first try. EcoMaster provided one of the best rated crawlspace dehumidifiers on the market which I had extensively researched. They installed and set up the dehumidifier which is working properly now some months later. Danielle in the office always responds in a timely manner. If I were to need more work of the type EcoMaster offers, I would definitely use them again.

Jonathan and his crews did a great job sealing and insulating my OLD attic. They did an energy audit pre- and post- improvements and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! They also cleared out my crawlspace and completely replaced the vapor barrier. They worked diligently without taking breaks. Even though the job took longer than expected (as is often the case with older houses) they maintained their composure and provided high quality work. I'm extremely pleased with their work and would highly recommend them.

Dave and the team were easy to work with, responsive with questions and timely with their completion of the project. They installed the glass shower enclosure quickly and at an excellent price as well. Would use them again in the future and would recommend them for friends and family!

Tri City did a great job on our attic. They showed up on time, put down plastic and protective measures, and were finished quickly. The installation team asked me to check their work and made some final touch ups and were done quickly! Great experience all around.
