Everyone at Comfort 1st are wonderful to work with ! I recently got my attic insulated with them. Overall, very pleased with team and the work, I would highly recommended them. I received several quotes from competitors, but, David from Comfort 1st, was the only one to detail out all aspects of the job and was thorough in explaining the process. Mike was also great to work with and really knows his stuff. The crew who came onsite did a wonderful job in preparation and cleaned up once they were done. Overall, great communication with all team members. Once again, great company, would highly recommend them.

We had a fairly large job. Insulation removal, installing exterior bathroom vents, attic cleaning, sanitizing, and making sure no critters could come in, foaming many areas, and finally blowing in new insulation. Josue and his crew were amazing. For 2 long days they worked incredibly hard to ensure that the job was done correctly. They cleaned everything when they were finished, and even showed us photos of the work as it progressed. We're extremely pleased with Comfort 1st, and highly recommend them. Nov. 26 I was very pleased with all aspects of my experience with Comfort First. Their response time and completion of the job was prompt. Communication was excellent and everyone I dealt with was very polite and pleasant from office staff to installers. The lead installer was very informative in regard to all the work detail and showed me pictures of the work done in the attic to seal air spaces. They did a clean up with shop vac after the install. I would highly recommend this company. And loved the parting gift of a bag of delicious coffee from Rockford Roasting Co.

We hired Schmidt Exteriors to replace all our old cedar siding with the fiber cement siding and they did an outstanding job! His crew was awesome and they completed the job in tough conditions and on time! Very honest & dedicated company. I would hire them again tomorrow!

We waited years to replace our sliding windows to those that open up and down. Five stars aren't really enough to tell how pleased with our new windows & doors. Everyone we dealt with from Mike to the installers & painters were professional and did a great job for a great price. We love the difference they made in our home. We HIGHLY recommend this company.

Recently we had a large bay window replaced. This was a very large job. Dealing with Schmidt Exteriors from the beginning to the end was awesome. The quality installation done by highly professional workers was truly 5 stars. The paint crew that came after the installation also did a professional job. I would highly recommend them!

I had Southern Illinois Insulation spray foam my 50'x70' metal building. Highly recommend them, communications before the job was excellent. Arrived on time, job went well very pleased with results. These guys are hard workers and did not waste any time getting to work on the job site.

Gus and Louis insulated the walls and attic of my attached garage. Gus was very thorough from the visit for the estimate, right on to the finished project. Note: Another contractor, who didn’t come out, gave an estimate over the phone. Ridiculous!

Gus and his team were unbelievable. We decided to tear open our garage and have spray foam insulation put in. Of course I decided to add to the project and had 3 different companies coming. But Weathershield was the most accommodating and truly made the project go much more smoothly. The rooms next to the garage and above the garage are already significantly warmer and quieter. Gus was there overseeing the project every step of the way. He was on time, responsive, and significantly better priced. His team was amazing as well. I completely trust him and will reach out to him first for any future projects we do. Even if he can't do the job I want to get his thoughts and use his knowledge. Thank you Gus!! Because of you we will no longer fear this upcoming winter!! I wish I had some more before and after photos but sadly I only took photos when I saw it coming together and realized what a through job they were doing.

I had an awesome experience with Paragon Insulation & Services. They were extremely professional and showed up right on time. The technician worked his butt off the entire day — super friendly, respectful, and clearly knows what he’s doing. He removed all of my old attic insulation, fully sealed and deodorized the space, and then refilled everything to the proper insulation levels. The difference is incredible. The price was very fair, and the quality of the work exceeded my expectations. I’m very satisfied with the service and would highly recommend them to anyone needing insulation work!

Randy was awesome! He came by to give me a quote for insulation, but when he realized I wouldn’t meet his minimum, he gave me suggestions on what to do instead. He was very honest and just a good overall guy. I would definitely recommend him for your insulation needs. Also, he runs a YouTube page which to me shows he is very passionate about his craft and wants to make sure everyone has proper insulation- even those who are too far away to use him!

Just used Paragon for closed cell spray foam and was happy with everything. Randy and the rest of paragon were very pleasant, setup nicely, cleaned up well, and when there was a slight overspray observed into the living space they sent someone out as soon as I reached out to remedy it. I plan to use Paragon again and would recommend them to anyone.

Wow! The two man crew that installed vents and more insulation in my attic did a great job. Plus the cost was very reasonable for the amount of time spent, the blow in insulation, and the vents that were installed. I should also mention that the sales rep. that represented TSLS was very professional and highly experienced. He gave me good advice and a fair price. I couldn't be more pleased. John was amazing. Addressed all of our concerns, made recommendations I never thought of and even explained why something I wanted wasn't worth the money even though what I asked about would've cost us so much more. John was very honest and if he didn't answer calls he called back in a prompt manner. Very fast work, very thorough work as well. And it was a lot less than I anticipated. We had a spray foam coating on our main walls, sprayed heavy in the sill, and batted the rest. From our previous to the remodel we can tell how much better our home is insulated and how much quieter it is with even the thin spray foam.

Very good experience with Thermaseal. They did spray foam insulation in my attic. Clear communication, fast work, and a huge difference in temperature. Some of the earlier reviews mention communication and timeliness issues. We primarily worked with Chris and had no problems there. There would have been a fee to pay by credit card, but there were multiple payment options that did not have fees.
