We had to Tony and Ashley from Natural Insulation. Redo the insulation in our home. And they also insulated our garage doors. They installed Baffles in our garage attic, in order to pass the permit for a mini split. They were very knowledgeable about the permit process for our mini split. And nobody else was able to give us that proper information. Tony built a new platform and wood barrier in our attic above the garage. That way we can store our holiday decorations. We would highly recommend them to anyone. They were even able to provide us with before and after photos of the project. The garage even looked cleaner after they left. Thanks again for a five star service.

Tony and his wife Ashley were absolutely awesome to work with. Super personable and professional. Really catered to my individual needs And really listened about the issues we were having with heat and humidity in the house. I interviewed a handful of insulation companies, some big and some small but absolutely nobody compares to these two. Tony even built a platform barrier above my garage so I can store all of my stuff. Quality work!!! Next level service And phenomenal people.

Tony and Ashley did an amazing job decking and insulating our garage attic. They were great communicators, neat as a pin and reasonable. I asked them for additional services as they were heading to my house. They quickly flexed and made it happen. If you need someone for insulation HIRE THESE GUYS!

Great company to deal with!!! As a contractor, it's tough to find a company that does what it says it will do. Used them on my own home, outstanding work at a fair price.

Great company. From start to finish they were nothing but professional with top notch customer service. The only thing better than the team and their customer serrvice was the actual work they performed. I would recommend them to anyone.

Steven did an outstanding job doing the insulation at our home. He was fast and friendly. I came back home and my A/C is now able to keep up with the Florida heat. I will gladly recommend his services to anyone in Fort Myers and Cape Coral. Adding another 5 star review to his many he already has.

This company came in and within one day‘s phone call had a team take out all of my old insulation, and put brand new R 30 insulation in, 18 huge bags. They worked tirelessly, even overtime, and on Saturday to accomplish this in order to reach the deadline that was needed. The insulation that was in there it was back from 1978 so they had to really dig into it to get it out, but that didn’t stop them because they made sure they got every last drop, before putting in the new insulation in. Truly a five star company! If you need your insulation done right, then call this company. They did not pay me to say this, or give me anything in return. I’m candidly telling you this is a great company!

I called 4 places to get quotes to remove old insulation from the attic and replace it with new insulation. Goldstar seemed the most reasonable and took the time to explain everything from A to Z. We had the whole process done yesterday and it was actually much better than I thought it would be. In and out within a few hours and the new insulation follows the county's recommendations. Much appreciated!

Excellent job on our spray foam insulation with Tamiami Insulation company. Employees are courteous, hard working, diligent, and clean. They are on the list of insulation companies on FPL website , and take pride in their work. When you are checking bids for jobs, compare apples to apples. R30 install represents 8 inches of foam, and R20 install represents 5 inches of foam. Remember when they are installing spray foam in your home, there will be a smell for 24 hours ! ! Recommend highly !!

It's rare these days to find a contractor in any industry that still checks all the boxes. From the first phone call to Mike all the way to the completion of project by him and his team I was very happy. Mike returned proposal when he said he would, came on the day we scheduled work like he promised, and for a separate portion communicated honestly about a probable Monday delivery but obviously didn't settle for that and managed to over deliver and get what I needed by the Friday before. All of Mikes team was very friendly, professional, presentable and all had smiles while they worked hard and efficient to complete job all in one day. Being a custom home builder, R Values exemplifies all the qualities we look for in our long standing relationships with subs. There is no doubt I will be using Mike and his R Values team again, and again on all my future projects. I highly recommend you use Mike and his team for your insulation needs. A+++

Santiago with M&S Spray foam did an awesome job on my 60x100 steel building. His crew showed up early and worked late to get the job done quickly. They thoroughly cleaned up when the job was complete. Some of the hardest working guys you will ever meet. Already have him scheduled to do 3 more jobs. Would highly recommend you have them quote your job before settling on a spray foam company.

If you are looking for someone to spray foam M&S Spray Foam Insulation LLC does a great job, communicated in a timely manner, and showed up on time and worked hard till the job was done. Very pleased with their service.

TEAMWORK No doubt about it - Stephanie and Heather took time to contact me and discuss a strategy to help make it COOLER in the house! Blown-in insulation to the rescue thanks to Luis and Ricky! What an experience to write positively about! THANK YOU WEST COAST INSULATION!

Kevin went out of his way to help us with a part for our new shower door that was faulty. It needs to be mentioned that his company did not install it, but he still went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Trace Couch★★★★★a year ago

Would highly recommend this company for any insulation needs. We subcontracted some work out to USI on a commercial building we are renovating and it has been an awesome experience. From meeting with a sales representative on site to the prompt responses and scheduling. We had a small hiccup on day 1 of install and they had it figured out and moving in no time. The biggest thing to me was the installers. They are very informative, work extremely hard while providing clean work AND they pick/clean up after themselves!! The spray foam crew left and I went in to lock up and was BLOWN AWAY at how clean they left the building. They took "leave a jobsite better than you found it" to another level and that speaks volumes from the installers to the company as a whole. Would give more stars if possible.

Frequently Asked Questions — Spray Foam Insulation in Fort Myers

Is spray foam insulation a good choice in hot and humid climates like Fort Myers?
Absolutely. Hot and humid climates like Fort Myers, FL are actually where spray foam insulation delivers some of its best results. Closed-cell spray foam acts as both an insulation layer and a moisture/vapor barrier, preventing the humidity infiltration that causes mold, rot, and air conditioning inefficiency. Homeowners in FL typically see 20–35% reductions in cooling costs after installation. One important note: because spray foam creates a tight building envelope, proper mechanical ventilation is essential in humid climates to manage interior moisture from daily activities like cooking and bathing.
What type of spray foam is best for homes in Fort Myers?
In hot and humid climates like Fort Myers, FL, closed-cell spray foam is generally recommended for exterior walls, crawl spaces, and attics. Its high density creates a moisture barrier critical in humid environments. Open-cell foam can be used in interior walls for soundproofing and actually allows some vapor movement, which can be beneficial in certain wall assemblies. A qualified local contractor can assess your specific home and recommend the best approach.
Can spray foam insulation help reduce my AC bills in Fort Myers?
Yes — significantly. Air conditioning accounts for the majority of energy costs in hot climates like Fort Myers, FL. Spray foam seals all gaps and cracks that allow conditioned air to escape, which is the primary cause of high AC bills. Most homeowners in hot climates report 20–30% reductions in cooling costs after spray foam installation.
Is spray foam insulation worth the cost?
For most homeowners, yes. Spray foam creates an air-tight seal that traditional insulation cannot match, reducing energy bills by 15–35% annually. It also adds structural rigidity, acts as a moisture and vapor barrier, reduces outside noise, and can increase home resale value. The higher upfront cost compared to fiberglass is typically recovered within 3–7 years. One important note: because spray foam creates a very tight building envelope, proper mechanical ventilation is important to maintain healthy indoor air quality and prevent interior moisture buildup. This is typically handled by an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) — a system that brings fresh outside air in while pushing stale air out, recovering the energy from the outgoing air so you don't waste what you paid to heat or cool — or a Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV), which works similarly but is optimized for cold climates. A qualified contractor will assess whether your home needs ventilation upgrades as part of the installation.
How much does spray foam insulation cost?
Spray foam insulation typically costs $1.00–$3.00 per square foot installed, depending on the type and your location. Open-cell foam runs $0.44–$0.65 per board foot, while closed-cell foam costs $1.00–$2.00 per board foot. A typical 2,000 sq ft home attic costs $2,000–$6,000. Most homeowners recoup this investment within 3–7 years through energy savings of 15–35% annually.
What is the difference between open-cell and closed-cell spray foam?
Open-cell spray foam is softer, less dense, and less expensive. It expands significantly and is ideal for interior walls, attics, and soundproofing. Closed-cell spray foam is denser, stronger, and provides a moisture barrier — making it better for exterior applications, crawl spaces, and areas prone to flooding or humidity. Closed-cell also has a higher R-value per inch (R-6 to R-7 vs R-3.5 to R-4 for open-cell). One key difference: open-cell foam allows some vapor movement, while closed-cell acts as a vapor barrier — an important consideration for your home's ventilation needs.
How long does spray foam insulation last?
Spray foam insulation is one of the most durable insulation options available, with a lifespan of 80+ years when properly installed. Unlike fiberglass batting which can sag and settle over time, spray foam maintains its shape and insulating properties indefinitely. It will typically outlast the building it is installed in.
How do I find a qualified spray foam insulation contractor?
Look for contractors who are licensed, insured, and have verifiable reviews. Spray foam requires specialized equipment and training — improper installation can cause off-gassing, adhesion failure, or fire hazards. Ask for references, verify their insurance, and get at least 2–3 quotes. A qualified contractor will also assess your home's ventilation needs — a tightly sealed spray foam installation requires adequate mechanical ventilation to prevent moisture and indoor air quality issues. FoamMatch pre-screens all listed contractors for licensing and insurance so you can compare verified professionals in your area.
How long does spray foam installation take?
Most residential spray foam jobs take 1–2 days depending on the size of the area. A standard attic takes 4–8 hours. After spraying, the foam cures within 24 hours, though most contractors recommend waiting 24–72 hours before occupying the space due to off-gassing during the curing process.
Does spray foam insulation need to be replaced?
No — spray foam insulation does not need to be replaced under normal circumstances. Unlike fiberglass insulation which degrades over time, spray foam maintains its R-value and air sealing properties for the life of the building. The only reasons to remove or replace spray foam are water damage, renovation work, or improper original installation.
