I had an insulation company all lined up to reinstall new insulation in my attic. I even paid them in full, and in advance. Four days before the job, I got a text saying they were going to bail out, and they did. Enter The Bay Area Insulation, and Miguel Vilchez. I contacted Miguel on a Saturday morning around 8:30 am "out of the blue", and explained my situation. He was at my place in Redwood Shores within 90 minutes to talk and do a site inspection. A few hours later, I received a quote, competitive, and immediately gave them the job. Monday morning, the original day of the aborted install, Miguel was picking up the special insulation I wanted, and by 1:30 pm he had a crew onsite and began the project. At 7:00 pm they finished, and the job was even better than I had asked for -- and I'm an anal engineer! The bottom line is that I wholeheartedly recommend Bay Area Insulation and Miguel Vilchez for an insulation project. I even immediately gave his business card to my favorite "big-time" contractor, and said, "You've got to use this guy."

My husband had contacted several companies to come and give us quotes on what it would cost to put insulation into our attic and in the walls of our house. All Seasons Insulation Co. was one of the companies we had contacted. Mark Gianino came as the estimator for All Seasons. After speaking with him, we were so impressed with Mark’s honest and informative feedback; we could tell he was not trying to have us pay for things we didn’t need. We decided that day that we would have All Seasons do the insulation job, and we booked an appointment with him. Mark called the day before to confirm our appointment, and he had also written his cell phone number on the estimate in case we needed to contact him. The crew promptly arrived and throughout the day, various members explained what they were doing, always with the goal of keeping us safe. They worked both diligently and nonstop. They cleaned up after themselves every step of the way, and were very considerate on our property. I especially appreciated that they did not disturb my plants. We would highly recommend All Seasons Insulation Co. to anyone looking to keep their home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest, I would rate them at least an 11. We were told it would take a day, and it took about 6 hours.

Extremely friendly, I expected to leave a message when I called but a live person picked up. Scheduled estimate same day, Mark was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Install crew was fantastic! They were very professional, arrived when they said they would, and showed tremendous hospitality. Treated our home like it was their own. Explained the job they’d do and delivered. I am still amazed by how efficiently and quietly they handled the install. I would like to share what an absolutely wonderful job this insulation company did for my home. I called a few companies to get estimates for installing insulation in my attic but was pleased when I met Mark, their estimator who was very knowledgeable and answered lots of my questions. To my relief the crew of Joel and Alberto were able to access my very narrow attic and spread the insulation out evenly throughout my attic. They even sprayed it into two, almost inaccessible, bedroom ceilings. The crew did a wonderful job based on photos and a video they provided after the work was performed. I liked that they arrived on time, lined all of my floors with their cloth tarps, vacuumed all areas they accessed and informed me how they were going to proceed with the job. Needless to say I am very pleased and satisfied with their work and with their very reasonable quote. I highly recommend them.

In my attic gets pretty hot so I have to watch what I put up there. It just clicked in my head the other day to have a fan installed. Now since it's been installed, I can put more things up there which means more room in my home. Words can't explain how grateful I am for what they did.

This is my first time needing help installing floors. The last crew I hired wasn't this fast or affordable. And when I called, everybody I came in contact with was nice and patient. I felt like an actual valued customer. If I had to call then again, I wouldn't even hesitate.

I first met Eduardo, owner of Eco Attic Systems, almost 3 years ago. At that time we had a big mold problem in our house that we had just begun remediating. I had had the attic cleaned out of the dusty fiberglass blown + batt insulation and I was looking for a mold-resistant replacement. Eduardo was very patient and talked me through the different options that he's worked with in the past. In the end I settled on mineral wool insulation. I wanted to get special order formaldehyde free insulation so I ended up ordering what I needed myself. Fast forward a few years. I ended up not being able to install the insulation after I purchased it due to other work we were having done on our house. It had been a few years, so I looked around again to see who seemed to have the most experience with installing mineral wool insulation and again landed on Eduardo and Eco Attic Systems with the most mineral wool pictures on their website and Google/Yelp. I called up Eduardo and was able to set up a installation the following Monday. On the day of installation, Eduardo's guys met me at the storage unit where I was keeping all the insulation and made quick work of loading the bags we needed onto his truck. Before they started bringing the insulation in, they set up dust containment zones and dropcloths in all the working areas to limit the amount of insulation dust that got everywhere. As someone who has installed this mineral wool insulation elsewhere in my house, this was much appreciated as it significantly limited the amount of cleaning I had to do after the fact. I was really impressed by the thoroughness and speed that they were able to set up the containment. They were able to insulate both of my attics (total 1300 sq ft) in just 5-6 hours. This was despite my insulation being 16" wide and not the 24" between trusses in my attic, resulting in a lot more cuts. The result was a very neat installation that went all the way to the edges. Again, as someone who has installed this insulation and has crawled around in my attic to do other work, it was impressive how neat the job was and that they were able to get the insulation to the hard-to-reach corners. I still have no idea how they managed to do that, but professionals have their professional techniques to make it happen. After the installation, Eduardo's guys even followed me back to my storage unit and unloaded the unused insulation back into my unit for me. Overall I had a great experience with Eduardo and Eco Attic Systems. Great service, reasonably priced, and a fantastic result. Highly recommend!

We followed his advice and are completely satisfied with the results. The installation team consisted of 3 very capable and delightful young men who did a terrific job. The guys worked together very well, and they were polite and professional. The supervisor arrived to put the finishing touches on the job and the fellows cleaned up beautifully. We had a very good experience with Carlos. He is very reasonable and responsive. His crew is very professional. We had to pause our project with him due to other ongoing projects. Carlos is still willing to continue our project after one year of pause.
