I feel very fortunate to have found Ideal Attic Insulation to work on the attic and crawlspace of our newly purchased home. From the start, Jorge came to provide a free inspection, and he was extremely professional and thorough. He personally went into the attic and crawled into the crawlspace to check every detail. After his inspection, he gave us a very fair estimate with a clearly written and complete scope of work. We also requested quotes from other companies, but it became clear that Ideal Attic Insulation—and especially Jorge—was the most professional, responsible, and knowledgeable. Jorge even helped us connect with other reliable handymen for additional repairs we needed around the house, which we truly appreciated. Once our plumbing repairs were completed, we scheduled the attic and crawlspace work. Jorge’s team handled the attic cleaning, sealing, rodent-proofing and new insulation installation. In the crawlspace, they performed a full cleaning, rodent-proofing, and installed a new vapor barrier. The scheduling was quick, and everything was completed within three days. The workmanship was excellent—clean, organized, and very professional. We really trust Jorge and appreciate his honesty, experience, and dedication. Jorge is the best. My wife and I had contacted 4 companies, and by far Ideal Attic Insulation was the winner. With us it wasn't all about price, but quality, knowledge of the trade and experience. We had our old insulation removed when we replaced our roof. Yes, like lot of us when your roof is compromised you have issues with rodents. Once our roof was completed, we set our appointment with Jorge. He came out the following afternoon, and boy was it hot. He inspected our entire attic and came up with a game plan to vacuum and sanitizing our entire attic space. He took a lot of pictures and shared areas of concern with us. We had the roofer's comeback out and tighten up area that may have been able to be compromised. once these areas were tightened up Jorge sent out his crew to install mess wire and stray foam around vent pipes, etc. Jorges recommended we wait a few weeks to install the insulation to see if there were any signs of rodents. After a few weeks and weekly inspections by Jorge and his crew, there were no signs of pests. They installed the insulation, and we could not be happier. We highly recommend Ideal Attic Insulation. After reaching out to several insulation companies and getting quotes from 4 of them, we picked Ideal Attic to clean, rodent proof, and insulate our attic and floors as well as cleaning the ducts on our house that lies deep in the Santa Cruz mountains. Jorge got me an extremely competitive quote, and even after pressing the rest of the companies, Jorge’s original quote was still way below the other companies’. He sent out two teams the following Saturday and got everything done in one day. Everyone worked extremely hard and everything got done as promised. The attic team ran into a problem with a recessed light that went out while vacuuming in the area. They weren’t able to fix it on the spot, but Jorge and his dad came out a few days later and fixed it. Overall I’m very pleased with the price, quality, and the company’s dedication to making the customer happy, and I would therefore recommend Ideal Attic.

I had an insulation company all lined up to reinstall new insulation in my attic. I even paid them in full, and in advance. Four days before the job, I got a text saying they were going to bail out, and they did. Enter The Bay Area Insulation, and Miguel Vilchez. I contacted Miguel on a Saturday morning around 8:30 am "out of the blue", and explained my situation. He was at my place in Redwood Shores within 90 minutes to talk and do a site inspection. A few hours later, I received a quote, competitive, and immediately gave them the job. Monday morning, the original day of the aborted install, Miguel was picking up the special insulation I wanted, and by 1:30 pm he had a crew onsite and began the project. At 7:00 pm they finished, and the job was even better than I had asked for -- and I'm an anal engineer! The bottom line is that I wholeheartedly recommend Bay Area Insulation and Miguel Vilchez for an insulation project. I even immediately gave his business card to my favorite "big-time" contractor, and said, "You've got to use this guy."

Excellent job from start to finish. Our project manager, Dennis, did an excellent job addressing our concerns relative to noise and draft. We followed his advice and are completely satisfied with the results. The installation team consisted of 3 very capable and delightful young men who did a terrific job. The guys worked together very well, and they were polite and professional. The supervisor arrived to put the finishing touches on the job and the fellows cleaned up beautifully. Overall we had a great experience! Thorough inspection, friendly personality, good price and effective at catching the mouse at our house. We recently had a mouse gotten into the house and were extremely concerned with a little one at home! Once I reached out, David and Francisco came in next day, thoroughly inspected for any openings, and set up traps that caught the mouse in the same day! They then came in next day to help fill in any gaps from the outside with wire meshes + concrete for holding the mesh in place. They also filled in gaps from the inside at the attic and in the kitchen to prevent any more rodents from coming in! So far we haven’t seen more! But if we do, we got a multi year warranty that gave us a peace of mind!
