I feel very fortunate to have found Ideal Attic Insulation to work on the attic and crawlspace of our newly purchased home. From the start, Jorge came to provide a free inspection, and he was extremely professional and thorough. He personally went into the attic and crawled into the crawlspace to check every detail. After his inspection, he gave us a very fair estimate with a clearly written and complete scope of work. Jorge is the best. My wife and I had contacted 4 companies, and by far Ideal Attic Insulation was the winner. With us it wasn't all about price, but quality, knowledge of the trade and experience. We had our old insulation removed when we replaced our roof. Yes, like lot of us when your roof is compromised you have issues with rodents. Once our roof was completed, we set our appointment with Jorge. He came out the following afternoon, and boy was it hot. He inspected our entire attic and came up with a game plan to vacuum and sanitizing our entire attic space. He took a lot of pictures and shared areas of concern with us. We had the roofer's comeback out and tighten up area that may have been able to be compromised. once these areas were tightened up Jorge sent out his crew to install mess wire and stray foam around vent pipes, etc. Jorges recommended we wait a few weeks to install the insulation to see if there were any signs of rodents. After a few weeks and weekly inspections by Jorge and his crew, there were no signs of pests. They installed the insulation, and we could not be happier. We highly recommend Ideal Attic Insulation. Excellent job, American Attics!! I have met several companies and American Attics was my choice. Mr. Sam Naib, the owner came to the site for detailed explanation and I felt confident that he will deliver what he has promised. On the day of the job, 3 young crew members showed up on time and worked tirelessly the entire time to complete the job on time. Highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have their attic cleaned up and re-insulated. We were dealing with HVAC running constantly and still unable to cool down the house effectively. Oumar visited for an initial inspection and came back with a bunch of photos from the attic. He walked us through all the various options we could benefit from, and left us with a competitive quote, without ever being pushy. On the day of service, Dani and his team were extremely professional in their job. They took care of a bunch of rodent mess in the attic and sealed a lot of rodent entry points. They took care of every small task I asked them to do, and left the whole house cleaner than they started with. Attaching some before and after photos for reference. Even though the HVAC still runs constantly, at least it is able to keep up with the heat and bring temperatures down. Just go for them!

We hired Attic Elite to clean and rodent-proof our church attic, and overall we are very pleased with the experience. Although the crew arrived later than expected, they stayed until the job was done and made sure everything was completed properly. Our attic had been in poor condition for a long time—it was very dirty, dusty, and there were several openings that needed to be sealed. The team worked hard despite the difficult environment. They cleaned thoroughly, removed all the mess, and sealed the holes with care to ensure rodents won’t be able to get back in. It was not an easy project, but they handled it professionally and left the attic in excellent shape. We went with Remove, Seal, Sanitize old insulation in effort to identify if there was a Termite swarm. We figured we’d need one day for termite inspection and a separate day for a termite treatment. The day after Attic Pros we had Bongiorno termite inspection come out and he went into the attic and there was no swarm identifiable all clean. Attic Pros did the complete removal and everything was visible and clean. It was cold at night and we didn’t wanna wait for our pre-scheduled couple of days out so I contacted Attic Pros and they came out the next day. Three guys installedR38. Bats without paper backer minimizing mold- they did an excellent job. All of our light was sealed. The hatch got new layer of bubble wrap insulation. The Attic vents had chutes installed allowing fresh air interchange. Can feel the difference- absolutely a warmer house. Thank you Attic Pros. Also Attic Prod had low cost to many other HVAC companies that just farm it out to subcontractors. Highly recommend Attic Pros.

I was able to self schedule an appointment within 2 days. Rabi was very professional and clearly communicated both the issue and the plan for resolution. They were able to complete the work within a few days. Their price was competitive. The team arrived between 10 am and worked all day to clean my attic, close all access points, and install the new insulation. They worked all day until 6 pm. They were very pleasant, answered my questions, explained things well. The process was pretty quiet so I was able to work at my remote job while they worked. They left everything clean in the crawlspace and took all garbage with them. I did not enjoy having creatures in the attic but they made the process of getting rid of them as pleasant as possible.

This is an excellent Company: They are professional, caring and thorough in their work. They took before and after pictures which was a great help. They removed rats, mold, asbestos from the attic. They removed the installation and replaced it with new. They sealed areas where the rats could have entered. They set traps and so far no sign of rats. They left my house clean. We discovered a bad rodent infestation in the crawl space and attic area of our new home. As a result, all insulation required removal and replacement. SDI held our hand thru the entire process. We followed his advice and are completely satisfied with the results. The installation team consisted of 3 very capable and delightful young men who did a terrific job. Insul-Techs were hired to insulate my house. The scope of work involved insulating my walls, attic, and crawl space. The team installed different R value fiberglass insulation in the attic, walls, and crawlspace. They also installed spray foam insulation in one of my vaulted ceilings as shown in the pictures. I also got my garage walls insulated so that I can use that as a gym year round. They did an amazing job and after they were done with the insulation, we felt the difference on how cooler the house felt even when it was really hot outside Chris helped us with the scheduling and was a delight to work with. I was referred to insultech from a respected contractor. Luis came by for an estimate. During the inspection i was given options on the types of insulation and the insulation factor of each method. After further review of other insulation companies non were as professional in explaining the process or the materials used, and most of all they were much more expensive for the same work being chosen. The techs came in completed the job with the utmost respect for property. Communication with Luis and the front office was effortless and the response was done in a timely fashion. The insulation factor coupled with the mini split for cooling. What a difference. Customer satisfaction comes first. Great job InsulTech.

I recently had Atticare come out to clean and insulate both my attic and crawlspace, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience! Sean was my technician — super friendly, on time, and clearly knew his stuff. He showed me photos before and after, explained everything in plain English, and made sure I understood exactly what was being done.

I recently had Atticare come out to my house last year to remove old insulation and then lay down new insulation along with rodent proofing the attic. A little over a year later Rats were still getting into my Attic and even though my warranty had expired Attic care was nice enough to send out their engineer Kyle to address the issue. Kyle spent several hours at my house today to do a thorough inspection and rodent proofing of any access areas were the rats might be getting into my attic. Kyle also repaired my air ducts the rats were chewing, cleaned up the attic of any droppings and completely sanitized. Very happy with the follow up work Kyle was able to complete today.

My husband and I are impressed with their responsiveness to all my questions and quality of their work. We did not have insulation in the house and needed it installed asap in our exterior walls due to miserable overheating in the house. They took good precautions to cover the floors and furniture, took their time to do the job right, finished everything in the estimated time frame, and took care when cleaning up. I had a great experience working with Johnson's insulation. They cleaned out our dusty attic, sealed all the air gaps, covered up areas to prevent pests and finally install the insulation. They were also very clean while working by covering up the walls and hallway .

The group was outstanding! After inspecting my attic, they took out the old insulation and expertly placed the new material. In order to stop air leakage, they even sealed tiny openings. Excellent experience from beginning to end; I heartily endorse their offerings!

Getting the attic insulated was one of the best home upgrades I’ve done. The house stays warm without blasting the heater, and the energy bill dropped noticeably within weeks.

I too had a skylight leak 3 & 1/2 years after my roof was done. They fixed it. For the people who need theirs done just keep calling - they will schedule you. It is like anything these days - just follow up and it will get done. The guys who came out where super respectful and it took all of 5 minutes to have the repair done. The foam keeps our house 15 degrees cooler in the summer and the same with the heat - lots of $ saved there!!

American Foam Experts re-did my roof in summer of 2021. As part of the roof work, they replaced two double-bubble skylights. One of those skylights has significant cracking throughout the interior bubble (to the point where pieces are falling into the house). In June, they stated they would order a replacement and have it installed before end of October. Today (middle of November) they informed me they've changed their stance to this issue being caused by debris or tree limbs. The interior bubble has significant damage where there is no damage to the exterior bubble, and we have no trees anywhere near the rooftop. I now feel compelled to pursue remediation via CSLB and arbitration. Throughout the entire process I have had to follow up multiple times with no response, had to re-share my contract multiple times (apparently they don't keep records), and generally had a terrible experience. I would not recommend working with AFE if it can at all be avoided.

American Foam Experts, a company we went with because it was recommended to us, never finished the job we paid them for. Also: 1) With the skylights, they put in the wrong size and left the wood unstained and unvarnished. 2) They left masking tape up at our clerestory windows, one of which is broken (they agreed to pay for it but never did). 3) They left an inch or two of what looks like fake snow visible from all of our living-room windows because they never tapered off the foam. We paid American Foam Experts close to $30,000 in September 2023. Between October 2023 and May 2024 we called and emailed them to ask them to finish the job. One person said they would organize it, but we never heard anything more. The worst thing is that American Foam Experts never came back to complete the work we paid them for and then stopped answering calls and emails from us, from our property managers and from the realtor who was selling our house and who explained that the unfinished job would have to be part of the disclosure agreement. They never replied. Make sure that this company has completed any job for you before you make a final payment.
