Spray Foam Insulation in Concord, CA

I'm so happy we finally called McHale's Environmental! We knew some rooms in our house were poorly insulated because they were always either freezing cold or blazing hot. The previous owner had extended the house, and it seemed like the builder cut corners and skipped insulating the exterior walls. For four years, we'd relied on portable heaters in the winter just to make those rooms bearable. John was incredibly helpful – he walked me through the house, confirming exactly where the insulation was missing. Their quote was competitive, and the installation crew was fantastic: efficient, friendly, and they cleaned up perfectly. Unlike other companies that use larger holes, McHale's process utilizes a smaller 1.5-inch cutout, which I appreciate because it means better insulation. The difference is unbelievable! Since McHale's insulated the rooms, we haven't had to use a single portable heater. I can't believe we waited so long to do this. Highly recommend McHale's!

He was very honest and did not try to upsell anything! A few days later, Dan's crew came out to complete the installation. They had everything completed in just a couple days. Great experience with McHales Environmental Insulation! John came over to our home, identified which walls did not have existing insulation, took measurements and provided cost quote bid for blow-in insulation the following day. We scheduled the job, and the crew came over on time and walked us through what they were going to do. They completed the job within a few hours, patched holes nicely, and cleaned up their work areas. We have felt a noticeable difference in our home insulation since the job was completed. They also helped us process an energy rebate. We would recommend McHales to anyone looking for blow-in wall insulation!

Insul-Techs were hired to insulate my house. The scope of work involved insulating my walls, attic, and crawl space. The team installed different R value fiberglass insulation in the attic, walls, and crawlspace. They also installed spray foam insulation in one of my vaulted ceilings as shown in the pictures. I also got my garage walls insulated so that I can use that as a gym year round. They did an amazing job and after they were done with the insulation, we felt the difference on how cooler the house felt even when it was really hot outside Chris helped us with the scheduling and was a delight to work with. I was referred to insultech from a respected contractor. Luis came by for an estimate. During the inspection i was given options on the types of insulation and the insulation factor of each method. After further review of other insulation companies non were as professional in explaining the process or the materials used, and most of all they were much more expensive for the same work being chosen. The techs came in completed the job with the utmost respect for property. Communication with Luis and the front office was effortless and the response was done in a timely fashion. The insulation factor coupled with the mini split for cooling. What a difference. Customer satisfaction comes first. Great job InsulTech.

Our recoat applied in August of 2023 began to blister and grow algae under the bubbles within months of the job. Multiple texts, photos, a phone conversation and a personal visit by the owner have failed to provide the promised repair.
