Recently we hired State 48 Home Services to install a new HVAC system. We were impressed and 100% pleased with the 4 employees (Stacy, Sean, Martin, Loui) we worked with, the process and our new system. Their knowledge, communication, efficiency and customer service were so far above our experience with other companies we have used over the years. The whole process - from our initial phone call to the HVAC system being installed and working - was positive and quite frankly less stressful than we had anticipated. It was a good decision on our part to contact State 48 Home Services (recommended to us by a neighbor). Would use again and recommend to others.

Stacy was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the process. Sean was fantastic to work with - knowledgeable, professional, and never pushy. The installation team did excellent work, even in a tight attic space (I checked it out afterward and was very impressed!). I highly recommend them and would definitely use their services again.

If you're looking for a local hero, you'll find one here. What I love most about this team is that when my air conditioner goes out, it's a 911 for them too. I don't know how they do it... They are so well orchestrated and tightly managed. They always pick up the phone on the first ring. They are friendly and polite and proactive and reasonably priced. Peter runs a great team there with Stacy on dispatch and Sean running the field crew. We are on their annual service plan for all three homes, and they have built so much trust and professional equity with my family that we now just call or text when we have a problem and trust that they will take care of it. And they always do. In Arizona, you have to have a trusted partner for your air conditioning - and this is, beyond a doubt, the team you should have on your side.

Incredible job with EcoSystems America. I was doing research online for Attic insulation and read from many testimonies about this company. I inquired and was able to get transparent pricing and information about insulation and my issue. I was able to take advantage of the SRP savings rebate, and it was handled effortlessly. I had a problematic room that was so susceptible to the heat, and after the insulation, the issue has been solved. The pricing was absolutely fair if not the best compared to other companies I had reached out.

Gary and his crew were awesome! Gary is very knowledgeable and informative. I got 3 bids before hiring them. Not only did they have the best price, but i don't think we would have gotten better service anywhere else.

It hasn’t even been a week yet, but felt I owed a review. Older home, 1979, knew my insulation wasn’t great. Fairly handy guy, looked into doing blown in insulation myself, renting machine & using the good cellulose insulation. Looked into APS rebates, but it would have to be done by approved contractor. Happened to come across Ecosystems, gave them a call. They do APS rebate for you, out of pocket was roughly 300-400 more than I figured it would cost me to do myself. Gary is super professional & an attic ninja. There’s no way I could have done as good a job as he did. We didn’t talk about it, but peaked into his trailer & can tell you they’re using the same high quality cellulose I was going to use. No bill yet, but my house is much more comfortable. At 78 my wife & I used to start being warm. Now, we both notice that at 78 we’re both comfortable. AC runs less often, so I know the bill will be less. It’s not often I pay someone to do work & actually feel good about the exchange. If your insulation needs updating, this is absolutely your company. Update Edit: trust what Gary tells you about APS plan & precooling. I didn’t fully trust at first, now we’re even more comfortable & my bill is getting LOWER. My bill for July was significantly less than June in a hotter month. Can’t recommend this service enough. If this keeps up, will probably pay for itself in about a year & a half or possibly less.

My husband and I had Home Comfort install a vapor barrier and insulation in our deep crawl space, and from start to finish it was a great experience. After Steve’s initial visit to see what we needed, he was very prompt in sending a very reasonable estimate. When the time came for installation, the work crew was very professional and accommodating and did a great job!! We would highly recommend Home Comfort, Inc.

Home Comfort came & did our insulation & we couldn’t be happier! We’ve already noticed the benefits of having it done & are able to set our thermostat higher and are anxious to see the benefits on our upcoming bills. The installers were very courteous & efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Steve Lafont was a pleasure to work with and his price was very well worth it! We highly recommend them if you’re considering having insulation blown in! A+++ company!!!

The home comfort team did a fantastic job of listening to my requests and executing. The spray foam application is NOT easy and they did a great job of evenly coating and hitting every spot. They did not rush and they were very respectful in cleaning up and avoiding spraying things we did not want sprayed. I highly recommend their team for your spray foam insulation needs. Thanks Home Comfort!

This company went above and beyond from beginning to end. The guys that replaced the roof were very efficient and did a wonderful job. They cleaned up after completing the job, even went so far to rake the stones on my property and made sure everything was clean before they left. The job from start to finish took them around 8 1/2 - 9 hours to be completely done. Great job guys!!!!

If I could give this business a 10-Star review, I would do it without the slightest hesitation. Once the materials arrived on-site (about a week after the order was submitted), the complete roofing job was completed in 9(!) hours total: 4 hrs the first afternoon, then 5 hrs the following morning. This 9-hr job included ripping several layers of existing roofing materials off our 1850 sf house, rebuilding our roof cricket for better drainage, then cleaning-up everything. The process was professionally seamless & the price was very reasonable, based on what friends have indicated they have paid for comparable roofing jobs. I chose an Owens-Corning roofing product & Owens-Corning considers Frontline as a Platinum-rated installer.

This company is more than a 5 star. From the first time I spoke with Cody and Jason I knew they were all about customer service. The communication between Frontline was unbelievable from management to office personnel. I knew exactly what was going on at all time and was never disappointed or in the dark wondering what was going on. The people they have replacing my roofing worked long and hard and did a fantastic job and left my property as clean as it was when they left. I have 6000 square foot under roof so it was a big job. I would recommend Frontline Contracting and Construction to do any job that was needed. Thank you to all the great people at Frontline.

Frequently Asked Questions — Spray Foam Insulation in Peoria

Does spray foam insulation work well in hot dry climates like Peoria?
Yes — spray foam is highly effective in hot dry climates like Peoria, AZ. While moisture control is less of a concern than in humid climates, the air sealing properties are critical for keeping hot desert air out and cooled air in. In extreme heat climates, an unsealed attic can reach 150°F+, dramatically increasing AC load. Spray foam in the attic can reduce attic temperatures by 30–40°F.
What is the best area of my home to insulate in Peoria?
In hot dry climates like Peoria, AZ, the attic is typically the highest-impact area to spray foam insulate. Desert sun heats roofs to extreme temperatures, and an uninsulated attic transfers that heat directly into your living space. After the attic, crawl spaces and rim joists are the next highest-impact areas. A local contractor can perform an energy audit to identify where your home loses the most conditioned air.
Is spray foam insulation worth the cost?
For most homeowners, yes. Spray foam creates an air-tight seal that traditional insulation cannot match, reducing energy bills by 15–35% annually. It also adds structural rigidity, acts as a moisture and vapor barrier, reduces outside noise, and can increase home resale value. The higher upfront cost compared to fiberglass is typically recovered within 3–7 years. One important note: because spray foam creates a very tight building envelope, proper mechanical ventilation is important to maintain healthy indoor air quality and prevent interior moisture buildup. This is typically handled by an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) — a system that brings fresh outside air in while pushing stale air out, recovering the energy from the outgoing air so you don't waste what you paid to heat or cool — or a Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV), which works similarly but is optimized for cold climates. A qualified contractor will assess whether your home needs ventilation upgrades as part of the installation.
How much does spray foam insulation cost?
Spray foam insulation typically costs $1.00–$3.00 per square foot installed, depending on the type and your location. Open-cell foam runs $0.44–$0.65 per board foot, while closed-cell foam costs $1.00–$2.00 per board foot. A typical 2,000 sq ft home attic costs $2,000–$6,000. Most homeowners recoup this investment within 3–7 years through energy savings of 15–35% annually.
What is the difference between open-cell and closed-cell spray foam?
Open-cell spray foam is softer, less dense, and less expensive. It expands significantly and is ideal for interior walls, attics, and soundproofing. Closed-cell spray foam is denser, stronger, and provides a moisture barrier — making it better for exterior applications, crawl spaces, and areas prone to flooding or humidity. Closed-cell also has a higher R-value per inch (R-6 to R-7 vs R-3.5 to R-4 for open-cell). One key difference: open-cell foam allows some vapor movement, while closed-cell acts as a vapor barrier — an important consideration for your home's ventilation needs.
How long does spray foam insulation last?
Spray foam insulation is one of the most durable insulation options available, with a lifespan of 80+ years when properly installed. Unlike fiberglass batting which can sag and settle over time, spray foam maintains its shape and insulating properties indefinitely. It will typically outlast the building it is installed in.
How do I find a qualified spray foam insulation contractor?
Look for contractors who are licensed, insured, and have verifiable reviews. Spray foam requires specialized equipment and training — improper installation can cause off-gassing, adhesion failure, or fire hazards. Ask for references, verify their insurance, and get at least 2–3 quotes. A qualified contractor will also assess your home's ventilation needs — a tightly sealed spray foam installation requires adequate mechanical ventilation to prevent moisture and indoor air quality issues. FoamMatch pre-screens all listed contractors for licensing and insurance so you can compare verified professionals in your area.
How long does spray foam installation take?
Most residential spray foam jobs take 1–2 days depending on the size of the area. A standard attic takes 4–8 hours. After spraying, the foam cures within 24 hours, though most contractors recommend waiting 24–72 hours before occupying the space due to off-gassing during the curing process.
Does spray foam insulation need to be replaced?
No — spray foam insulation does not need to be replaced under normal circumstances. Unlike fiberglass insulation which degrades over time, spray foam maintains its R-value and air sealing properties for the life of the building. The only reasons to remove or replace spray foam are water damage, renovation work, or improper original installation.
