We recently moved into our house and quickly noticed that our heating bill was nearly three times higher than expected during the winter months. I called Northwest Weatherization to do an inspection and help figure out what was going on. They found that there was barely any insulation in the attic and none on the HVAC pipes or under the floor. Their team came out and insulated the attic and crawl space, and they also reattached and properly sealed all of the HVAC ducting under the house. It’s still too soon to see the full impact on our energy bill, but the difference in comfort is already noticeable. The house feels warmer and the heater isn’t running nearly as often. Overall, the experience was very positive, and I’m glad we had them come out.

From start to finish, working with Northwest was really easy and enjoyable. Ryan was great about explaining what was needed in an easy to understand way. Also very knowledgeable about rebates available from the various energy companies. The crew that came was very efficient, cleaned up after themselves and made a great first impression. All around good experience for us.

They did a residential insulation project on a remodel that was already furnished, etc. The crew was exceptionally neat, clean, did a very careful job, texted when finished with photos and were finished ahead of their schedule and the total cost was actually a bit less than the estimate. Highly recommended.
Out of 3 companies, they had the best price. The crew arrived early and was finished quickly, communicating along the way. Even showed me the baffles and where they were going to place them. I got blown in insulation to R 49 and I can definitely tell a difference.
Our installation crew, Sammy and Johnny, were prompt, courteous and professional. The completed the job quickly and effectively. They were able to cover all surfaces of a difficult roof and left our attic cleaner than when they arrived. I recommend IBP without reservation.

It's not the right location showing on maps but is on the other side of the building shown. Pretty tight dock and back area for a full-size 53ft plus truck but doable. Friendly staff when checking in/out and decent unload times. Overall, it was a good experience
