Tom was very friendly and straightforward with the inspection, detailed the problems, replacing procedure, and warranties. The decision was made fast with a reasonable cost. 5 stars rate to him. Ronny and his crew are a fantastic hardworking team! They carefully setup their working environments to keep around clean. Then removed all the old insulation, laying up the new ones. When I realized the very small area need to be fixed, upon very tight schedule, Ronny’s crew came back fixed nicely. Yes, Rate Ronny and his crews all 5 stars. The company office has a super service lady Lorrie. She sent the before and after photos, make an inspection schedule, helped the fixed problems… She is friendly, patient, and quickly to resolve the problems! Definitely, Rate her 5 stars. The inspector, Jose, was done a good job and help to resolve our small area problem, Rate him 5 stars too. By my experience, I’m satisfied with this company with good leaders and hard-working teams. I would rate it 5 stars and recommend it to my friends.

At some point over the winter, rats got under our house and shredded everything in their path. I got several bids for the work, not only did Super Attic Solutions offer the best price but they also offered better quality materials for the project, going with them was a no-brainer. Joey who did the appraisal was professional, polite and knew his stuff, joy to work with. They got me scheduled within a week and I got Ricky as my project manager. I’ll say they knocked it out of the park, the crew busted their butts all day and the end result was day and night. The transformation was mind blowing I had no idea how bad the damage was until Ricky and his crew were finished. Our house was built in the 40’s now we have a crawl space and insulation comparable to a new build! Super happy with the results from Ricky’s crew, their professionalism and hard work did not go unnoticed. I highly recommend this company for any insulation-related project. If you get Ricky as the project manager, rest assured the end results are well worth every penny! The company as a whole made this nightmare situation seem manageable and I really appreciate the work! Few Before and after photos below, mind-blown!

This company took care of our attic reinsulation, duct replacement, and rodent infestation all at once. The crew was extremely competent, neat, and on time. A special thank you to Tomer for his exceptional work on the rodent proofing; his thoroughness gave us great peace of mind. The entire process was smooth, and the improvement in our home's air quality and temperature is remarkable. A fantastic job from beginning to end!

Attic Doctor helped with mold removal in my attic, and the whole experience was excellent. Jay and his team were great to work with from start to finish. Jay was very responsive and clearly explained the issue and the steps they would take, and the pricing was much more reasonable compared to other companies I contacted. His team worked efficiently, and did a thorough job. They were professional and respectful throughout the process. I also really appreciated that Jay provided detailed before-and-after photos, which made it easy to see the original condition and exactly what was cleaned and removed. I’m very satisfied with the results and would definitely recommend Attic Doctor.

Attic Doctor did an insulation job (and air sealing) at my home and I couldn't be happier with the results. They were communicative throughout the entire process, keeping me informed and answering all my questions clearly. What really impressed me was their integrity. During installation, they discovered several exhaust vent ducts that weren't up to code. Instead of charging extra to fix it, they corrected it for free since they hadn't caught it during the estimate. This kind of honesty is hard to find. The work itself was very thorough and well-done. The crew was professional, respectful of property, and left everything clean. Riley and Jay checked in often during the job to ensure things were being executed correctly. They clearly take pride in their work. If you need attic insulation in the area, I highly recommend Attic Doctor! They combine great quality work with honest business practices. I would definitely use them again.

After doing our due diligence we chose Attic Dr to remove/clean debris from the attic and crawl space, remediate some areas that had mold, remove all old insulation and install new R-38 attic insulation. Both attic and crawl space had all openings sealed and rodent traps were set in place. From start to finish we were very pleased with their process. Pictures of the entire attic and crawl space before, during and after the work was done were reassuring. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. They were professional, responded to any questions we had in a timely manner and left the area around our residence neat and tidy.

We built our house 9 months ago. I was mu own general contractor. I hired all my own subcontractors. I obtained bids from 4 insulation companies. Turner was the last one. It was the lowest price by thousands. Not only were they the lowest price, but they also had the best service!! They insulated the interior walls. They also helped me pass my blower door test! Amazing!! I highly recommend!!

These guys were perfect for me. I used them on two old homes where scheduling around other trades, and working in tight spaces made the jobs difficult. These guys were the best. They do great work, they were eager to please me, and they are fun as well.

Bill Zachmann★★★★★12 months ago

Ken and his Turner Insulation crew did a great job to upgrade our attic space insulation over our living space and blow some in our attached garage, to make our home use less energy in both warm and cool seasons. The job cost estimate from a few months back was still honored, so once we were ready, the job was quickly done. Thanks!

They came to spray my house, super professional and answered any questions I had. I highly recommend these guys!

Frequently Asked Questions — Spray Foam Insulation in Olympia

These are the questions Olympia homeowners ask most about spray foam cost, R-value, and open- vs. closed-cell foam — with context for local pricing and roughly 35% typical energy savings. Compare the 6 verified Olympia contractors above for exact quotes.

How much can spray foam insulation save on heating and cooling bills in Olympia?▼
Homeowners in mixed climates like Olympia, WA typically see 20–30% reductions in total energy costs after spray foam installation. The savings come from both reduced heating in winter and reduced cooling in summer. The exact savings depend on your home's current insulation, size, and local energy rates, but most homeowners recoup the investment within 3–6 years.
Is spray foam better than fiberglass insulation for homes in Olympia?▼
For most homes in Olympia, WA, spray foam outperforms fiberglass significantly. Fiberglass batts insulate but do not air seal — meaning conditioned air still escapes through gaps. Spray foam both insulates and creates an airtight seal, addressing the root cause of energy loss. While spray foam costs more upfront, the performance difference in mixed climates makes it the better long-term investment for most homeowners.
Is spray foam insulation worth the cost?▼
For most homeowners, yes. Spray foam creates an air-tight seal that traditional insulation cannot match, reducing energy bills by 15–35% annually. It also adds structural rigidity, acts as a moisture and vapor barrier, reduces outside noise, and can increase home resale value. The higher upfront cost compared to fiberglass is typically recovered within 3–7 years. One important note: because spray foam creates a very tight building envelope, proper mechanical ventilation is important to maintain healthy indoor air quality and prevent interior moisture buildup. This is typically handled by an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) — a system that brings fresh outside air in while pushing stale air out, recovering the energy from the outgoing air so you don't waste what you paid to heat or cool — or a Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV), which works similarly but is optimized for cold climates. A qualified contractor will assess whether your home needs ventilation upgrades as part of the installation.
How much does spray foam insulation cost in Olympia, WA?▼
In Olympia, WA and the surrounding area, spray foam insulation typically costs $1.00–$3.00 per square foot installed, depending on the type and your home's specifics. Open-cell foam runs $0.44–$0.65 per board foot, while closed-cell foam costs $1.00–$2.00 per board foot. A typical 2,000 sq ft home attic in Olympia costs $2,000–$6,000. Most Olympia homeowners recoup this investment within 3–7 years through energy savings of 15–35% annually.
What is the difference between open-cell and closed-cell spray foam?▼
Open-cell spray foam is softer, less dense, and less expensive. It expands significantly and is ideal for interior walls, attics, and soundproofing. Closed-cell spray foam is denser, stronger, and provides a moisture barrier — making it better for exterior applications, crawl spaces, and areas prone to flooding or humidity. Closed-cell also has a higher R-value per inch (R-6 to R-7 vs R-3.5 to R-4 for open-cell). One key difference: open-cell foam allows some vapor movement, while closed-cell acts as a vapor barrier — an important consideration for your home's ventilation needs.
How long does spray foam insulation last?▼
Spray foam insulation is one of the most durable insulation options available, with a lifespan of 80+ years when properly installed. Unlike fiberglass batting which can sag and settle over time, spray foam maintains its shape and insulating properties indefinitely. It will typically outlast the building it is installed in.
How do I find a qualified spray foam insulation contractor in Olympia, WA?▼
When searching for a spray foam contractor in Olympia, WA, look for ones who are licensed, insured, and have verifiable reviews. Spray foam requires specialized equipment and training — improper installation can cause off-gassing, adhesion failure, or fire hazards. Ask for references, verify their insurance, and get at least 2–3 quotes. A qualified Olympia contractor will also assess your home's ventilation needs — a tightly sealed spray foam installation requires adequate mechanical ventilation to prevent moisture and indoor air quality issues. FoamMatch pre-screens all listed contractors in Olympia for licensing and insurance so you can compare verified professionals in your area.
How long does spray foam installation take?▼
Most residential spray foam jobs take 1–2 days depending on the size of the area. A standard attic takes 4–8 hours. After spraying, the foam cures within 24 hours, though most contractors recommend waiting 24–72 hours before occupying the space due to off-gassing during the curing process.
Does spray foam insulation need to be replaced?▼
No — spray foam insulation does not need to be replaced under normal circumstances. Unlike fiberglass insulation which degrades over time, spray foam maintains its R-value and air sealing properties for the life of the building. The only reasons to remove or replace spray foam are water damage, renovation work, or improper original installation.
