Spray Foam Insulation in Winston-Salem, NC

Had groundhog come out and fill up our attic insulation due to it being low after finding them through a duke energy program. They were easy to talk to and explain all the things to be done, and what would or wouldn't qualify for the program through duke. They came out quickly to give an estimate and the work was done quickly and cleanly within a week of accepting the estimate. Can already notice the difference in efficiency in our home. Overall great experience.

I found out about Groundhog Insulation through Duke Energy. Their team did a very thorough job of looking over our situation, and gave us a great quote for air sealing and insulation the attic and our garage. Kevin and his crew did a great job, showed up on time and cleaned up well. I'm very pleased with the job they did!

First and foremost Kevin and the other gentleman were On Time! Nowadays our time is so valuable, so this was greatly appreciated. Something else I appreciated was how professional and mannerly all of the gentlemen were. I observed all of these things before they did any work. So this really put both me and my wife at ease. They performed an assessment, provided a quote and then gave us time they could come back. Again, when they came back, they were On Time. The repaired/replace our basement insulation. Kevin explained exactly what they were going to do and, the job done, was of the highest quality. I will not hesitate to call them again and neither should you.

We chose USA Insulations from the 3 contractors that responded from Duke Energy, they gave us the best pricing & quickly scheduled the job. Their team was great, prompt, done in few hours, cleaned up and walked us thru what they did, double checked work making sure we were happy& satisfied at every step. David followed up with us to make sure all was good as well. All the crew & office personnel were great, very polite, knowledgeable & helpful. This company was great to work with and they done everything they said they would do. We call and in a couple days Jason came out look around told us what we need and he even compared a few different opinions. The team of Todd ,Raheem and Greg were easy to work with and very well mannered. These guys don't waste anything they finished my house in 1 and 3/4 days. They put all vinyl back and cleaned up what little mess that was made. We r one happy customer and would recommend this company to do your inslation work.

We needed to insulate a 75 year old farmhouse in the mountains. USA Insulation worked with us to find the best options, including using injection foam insulation in the outside walls. They were professional, friendly and pleasant to work with. They explained not only what they were doing, but also why they were using that method & materials. They also traveled 2 hours each way to provide their services when other companies told us it was not possible to insulate outside walls that old without removing the inside walls then replacing them. We are extremely satisfied with this company, their crew members, and the finished project.

The guys did an exemplary job in my attic! I was nowhere up to code regarding my insulation so really glad the team was able to bring me to the standard! They were fast, efficient and offered additional service to make insulation going forward, not a huge issue. Would recommend and call these guys 10/10 for any future projects regarding insulation or ventilation.

From estimate to installation- Green Planet was professional and provided exceptional service! The estimate and explanation of services from Lee was thorough and the company prides themselves on following up-to-date building codes. They re-insulated our attic and installed an attic tent and even assisted us with getting a great rebate through Duke Energy. The owner, Chris, was very communicative and his workers were respectful of our property. Not only was the service great, our house has been so much warmer! We highly recommend Green Planet for your insulation needs!

I was having trouble getting anyone to call me back much less come out and give me a bid on my personal home. Mckinney came out the next day after I called them and did the install the following day. Great Job Great Service

McKinney insulation was awesome, I called on a Sunday and their sales guy happily drove across town to take a look at my attic, gave me a quote, Absolutely squashed the competition in terms of affordability, showed up on time and got everything taken care of in less than two hours! Absolutely a great value, and the difference in once in the house is incredible!

Rick McKinney and McKinney Insulation did an excellent job insulating my home. Rick is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They have been in business 38+ years. Rick also got me Duke Energy’s $250 rebate for upgrading the insulation in my attic. My electric bill was cut by 60% after the insulation upgrade. I met with Steve, who is very down to earth and shoots you straight, and he estimated blown-in insulation for my house and under floor insulation for my crawl space. He scheduled the installation and a VERY professional crew came out and did the work. They were very thorough and we have seen an instant difference in the comfort of our home. I would highly recommend Steve and IBBI!

Mario insulated my crawlspace and laid down a vapor barrier. I was totally pleased with his work. Wish I could adopt him. Received very good communication with Johnny. Overall I am extremely pleased with the job they did.

PLEASE do not work with Leo or this company. He is a crook. He took our deposit, begged for money up front, showed us a sample of 3.5 inch foam and sprayed half an inch. Left the job site and never returned. When we called he came up with excuses such as “I’m out of town and will call you Wednesday”-never did or “my son was in a car accident, I’ll call you next week”-never did. He then stopped answering our calls altogether. He has now stopped answering our calls altogether. We have built two homes and worked with over 12 contractors. I can not imagine a worse experience. This is my first time ever writing a review (positive or negative) but feel the need to warn the public about this person and experience. We are attempting to go to court but he won’t reply with his federal tax ID # or correct attorney name. This company is a complete garage.
