We were very pleased with the insulation work the company did for our home in the Temecula area. Mr. Juan is very kind and responsible, and the prices are very good. We highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough great things about Juan and his crew. They are very professional, quick, and above all take pride in their work and are very attentive to detail. Even my HERS inspector said to us that the work they did was “top notch” and passed us right away. I highly recommend them!

Good experience from start to finish. Had insulation blow in garage ceiling and one exterior wall after an energy audit. Juan and the rest of the crew were through and respectful of our home. Excellent communication and wonderful cleanup. Leonard, who did the energy audit, was also good at communicating what needed to be done and the process. Thank you

As a General Contractor, I purchase materials from Home Depot almost every day, from San Diego all the way to Los Angeles. I’ve worked with many locations, but today I want to share an exceptional experience at the Lake Elsinore Home Depot. Rachel is truly one of the best associates I have ever met. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and very smart at what she does. She helped me with everything I needed quickly and efficiently, and she even took the time to show me how to properly use the Pro account features on the Home Depot app — which makes my job much easier moving forward. It’s rare to meet someone so kind, patient, and dedicated to helping customers. Rachel goes above and beyond, and it really shows. Thank you, Rachel, for your outstanding service. Home Depot is lucky to have you!

The customer service I received from Jerry and Brandon was unmatched! These guys literally walked me through everything I was trying to do and made sure I had all the proper equipment and didn’t let me leave until they knew I was set up for success. Couldn’t have asked for Anything more than the customer service I just received from those guys in the plumbing department. This store isn’t the closest Home Depot to me but anytime I have any plumbing related items. I will definitely be coming back to this location.

I have been getting several quotes from different companies for spray foam insulation. 951 construction eventually made the best offer, even though is meant a three hour commute for them to our house. The communication with Kevin was very friendly, easy and informative. His team was highly professional and we are very happy with the end result. Thanks again to the whole team!

Had a Whole House Fan installed in our 3100 sq ft home. What an amazing difference it makes when turned on. Can use the A/C less and still enjoy a nice cool home! The installer was prompt, competent and very polite. Highly recommend this company!

They installed a Quiet Cool fan in 2017. It was not a smooth process to get them out here. A no show happened that was rebooked. Eventually it was installed. The installer was nice and knowledgeable and did (from what I can tell) a good job of actually installing. I do see others had a good experience with install. But what happens when your fan needs repairs? Ideally you want to know that you're working with a reliable company. Unlike other home repairs, you can't just call anyone to repair your fan. It needs to be the same company that installed the fan originally. So be sure to keep all of your documentation of install, and it's a good idea to pick a company who is responsive and professional. 2 years later, the fan stopped working. To make a long story short, it was a lot of work coordinating someone to come out and repair it. A subcontractor skipped town with my part and they had to get a new one. I totally understand things happen. But this was the second interaction that made me kind of raise my eyebrow. About a year after that, our fan started making really loud humming sounds. There is no one at this company who answers the phone, it always rings to voicemail. After several voicemails and no returned phone calls across 2 weeks of trying, I had to contact QuietCool corporate to get help. The number of hours I've spent on this house fan is getting pretty silly. Check Yelp reviews, they will confirm that my experience is not unique. I love supporting local businesses and it's not my style to post a negative review, but I don't want anyone else to find themselves in this situation.

Frequently Asked Questions — Spray Foam Insulation in Lake Elsinore

Does spray foam insulation work well in hot dry climates like Lake Elsinore?
Yes — spray foam is highly effective in hot dry climates like Lake Elsinore, CA. While moisture control is less of a concern than in humid climates, the air sealing properties are critical for keeping hot desert air out and cooled air in. In extreme heat climates, an unsealed attic can reach 150°F+, dramatically increasing AC load. Spray foam in the attic can reduce attic temperatures by 30–40°F.
What is the best area of my home to insulate in Lake Elsinore?
In hot dry climates like Lake Elsinore, CA, the attic is typically the highest-impact area to spray foam insulate. Desert sun heats roofs to extreme temperatures, and an uninsulated attic transfers that heat directly into your living space. After the attic, crawl spaces and rim joists are the next highest-impact areas. A local contractor can perform an energy audit to identify where your home loses the most conditioned air.
Is spray foam insulation worth the cost?
For most homeowners, yes. Spray foam creates an air-tight seal that traditional insulation cannot match, reducing energy bills by 15–35% annually. It also adds structural rigidity, acts as a moisture and vapor barrier, reduces outside noise, and can increase home resale value. The higher upfront cost compared to fiberglass is typically recovered within 3–7 years. One important note: because spray foam creates a very tight building envelope, proper mechanical ventilation is important to maintain healthy indoor air quality and prevent interior moisture buildup. This is typically handled by an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) — a system that brings fresh outside air in while pushing stale air out, recovering the energy from the outgoing air so you don't waste what you paid to heat or cool — or a Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV), which works similarly but is optimized for cold climates. A qualified contractor will assess whether your home needs ventilation upgrades as part of the installation.
How much does spray foam insulation cost?
Spray foam insulation typically costs $1.00–$3.00 per square foot installed, depending on the type and your location. Open-cell foam runs $0.44–$0.65 per board foot, while closed-cell foam costs $1.00–$2.00 per board foot. A typical 2,000 sq ft home attic costs $2,000–$6,000. Most homeowners recoup this investment within 3–7 years through energy savings of 15–35% annually.
What is the difference between open-cell and closed-cell spray foam?
Open-cell spray foam is softer, less dense, and less expensive. It expands significantly and is ideal for interior walls, attics, and soundproofing. Closed-cell spray foam is denser, stronger, and provides a moisture barrier — making it better for exterior applications, crawl spaces, and areas prone to flooding or humidity. Closed-cell also has a higher R-value per inch (R-6 to R-7 vs R-3.5 to R-4 for open-cell). One key difference: open-cell foam allows some vapor movement, while closed-cell acts as a vapor barrier — an important consideration for your home's ventilation needs.
How long does spray foam insulation last?
Spray foam insulation is one of the most durable insulation options available, with a lifespan of 80+ years when properly installed. Unlike fiberglass batting which can sag and settle over time, spray foam maintains its shape and insulating properties indefinitely. It will typically outlast the building it is installed in.
How do I find a qualified spray foam insulation contractor?
Look for contractors who are licensed, insured, and have verifiable reviews. Spray foam requires specialized equipment and training — improper installation can cause off-gassing, adhesion failure, or fire hazards. Ask for references, verify their insurance, and get at least 2–3 quotes. A qualified contractor will also assess your home's ventilation needs — a tightly sealed spray foam installation requires adequate mechanical ventilation to prevent moisture and indoor air quality issues. FoamMatch pre-screens all listed contractors for licensing and insurance so you can compare verified professionals in your area.
How long does spray foam installation take?
Most residential spray foam jobs take 1–2 days depending on the size of the area. A standard attic takes 4–8 hours. After spraying, the foam cures within 24 hours, though most contractors recommend waiting 24–72 hours before occupying the space due to off-gassing during the curing process.
Does spray foam insulation need to be replaced?
No — spray foam insulation does not need to be replaced under normal circumstances. Unlike fiberglass insulation which degrades over time, spray foam maintains its R-value and air sealing properties for the life of the building. The only reasons to remove or replace spray foam are water damage, renovation work, or improper original installation.
