Nick, the estimator, came out to my house because my attic was getting unbearably hot. He spent a full hour carefully inspecting both the attic and the outdoor soffits, and managed to diagnose a problem that had completely eluded more than a dozen contractors I’d had out over the years (HVAC, roofing, attic specialists—you name it). After crawling deep into attic nooks & crannies, Nick identified that my soffit intakes were blocked by wood at the eaves, which explained the ventilation issue. No one else had taken the time or had the expertise to catch this. Other well-meaning contractors had suggested solutions like attic fans, but those wouldn’t have addressed the real problem that Nick finally diagnosed. On top of that, the owner, Marko, personally spent another 30 minutes with me on the phone walking through potential roofing solutions.
