Spray Foam Insulation in Salt Lake City, UT

I wanted to get an estimate for insulation between my basement and first level to dampen noise transfer as best as possible. I called SLC Connections LLC to leave a message about 5:30am this morning. To my shock the proprietor Ariel answered like he had been up and been working already! He was out at my house by 1pm. He quickly determined I already had insulation in there and did not make sense to add more for the cost benefit of additional Insulation. Super service and nice guy! Give em a call if you need any insulation work!

I recently bought a home that was missing insulation over the master bath and closet of which it was chillfully obvious when you were in those rooms and outside temps were in the 30s. After debating on doing the job myself, I simply didn’t have the time with work and other things going on, so I Googled companies to do this for me. There were a couple options with reviews that had a “5.0” rating, but for whatever reason, Ariel was the only one that called me back after requesting a quote, and I didn’t wait long for that call! Ariel came out a couple days later and we talked about this issue, but also discussed putting insulation over my garage which I was debating on doing anyway, but we also talked about the state of the rest of the house of which I knew things weren’t amazing as I could see an insulation measurement up in my attic that seemed way lower than I was expecting on a 10-year-old home. He took a lot of measurements, got up in my attic, and we talked some more about my options. He left and promised me a quote with a few options for my consideration which I received that evening. I opted to go all in and insulate my garage and add additional insulation to the entire house since everywhere else was around R30. Now my house is at R60 (totally my choice, but it wasn’t that much more than bringing things up to R49), and we did R38 over the garage. Also, Ariel’s team ensured I had the necessary baffles where they were either missing or not high enough for the added insulation, and they fabricated some retention barriers where portions of my ceiling is vaulted to keep things in place. There was a minor communication error during the process (unique to my home’s situation), but it was addressed quickly and certainly to my satisfaction. Frankly, I’m more impressed with companies that deal with hiccups or problems and make things right than companies who dismiss the issue and leave you hanging. I have no reservations with recommending SLC Connections for your insulation needs. Ariel was great, the people that came out were great, the job looked like it was done well after completion (I’ve been scammed in the past on insulation, so you better believe I was back up in my attic to verify things after the job was done), and I am happy with the end result in my master bathroom and closet! It now feels warm like anywhere else in the house!

I wish I would have called Insulation from Hale first. They were the first company to pick up the phone out of 5 companies I called. They were 4 on my list. From the first phone call, they were understanding, explained processes in detail and worked around our schedule. We called them 2-3 weeks out and told them we had a small window of time to work with and they fit us in their busy schedule with an even shorter notice. I wish my pictures did the justice as the work looked amazing and worth the cost to have our garage insulated during the build process. Both Brian and Rob were responsive and their team was very professional, I will call them for future needs and refer them often as I know they will take care of their customers.

We had a great experience with Insulation by Hale. Communications was very responsive during the bid process and Dayan followed up with us after the work to check on how it went. The crew, George and Noah, were great to work with and did an excellent job on our basement insulation. They helped us understand the process, let us inspect the foam before adding the batt and thoroughly cleaned everything up afterward. Their price was very reasonable, too. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Highly recommend USI,,salesman Gregory was Awsume to work with,,, he was the only insulation salesperson to tell me about the rebate on doing basement walls. So happy with them.

Amazing Experience! Worked with Cody and Chris, who were very professional and did an amazing job touching up the insulation in my new home. The original contractors (not USI) had missed several spots and the temperature in our home would vary significantly from room to room. Cody and Chris came on time and were very careful to ensure that they didn't leave any mess. They touched up the insulation and even put in a bit extra to ensure that we wouldn't have any issues. I will definitely be using USI for any future insulation services.

I hired USI to insulate my garage and they did a fantastic job. They blew in r38 in the attic and filled the walls. The walls are sheet rocked so they cored holes and blew the insulation into the cavities. Great price from RJ and the installers were friendly and professional. They left the garage cleaner than it was when they arrived. I will definitely use them again

I was going to give them a 2 star for losing the key to the truck and blocking me in my driveway so that I was late for a work meeting, but the service was incredible. Amazing job. My workers were Andre and Jose. Not quite sure if that was their names. Great job by them

Never used the service an never will was pulling into a restaurant and was almost slammed into by a driver and he got physically aggressive shouting racial slurs. Glad to see the kind of people they employ and how they conduct themselves in a company vehicle.

My experience with this company was pre-Covid.. the job was done in order to create a sound barrier between 1st floor and basement in an older home.. the company's rep came out to give me his opinion.. he initially told me that it would work and also that it would only be a minimum of 6 holes in ceiling.. I will honestly say, his superior could not guarantee that it would help.. now i know why...an insulation company of this size and experience, would know that this type of insulation is not recommended for soundproofing.. he knew and should have recommended another product... this review should have been written 2 years ago..why know? do i expect to get my 527 dollars back? No..(and boy do i feel stupid for paying)...in short, the reason Im taking a minute to write this is because every time i look at my ceiling in my living room and master room I see a total of 48 holes..(boy do i feel stupid).. it'll cost me a 1000 to patch holes.. could you imagine the mess of pulling down ceiling to replace, not to mention cost. (and boy do i feel stupid).. so please ask the right questions!! these representatives took advantage of ignorance.. its too bad that in this climate that we live in, we still can't trust.. thanks, too mad to look up..
