A water line ran through my garage wall and attic that was not insulated. I'm hoping this protects it from freezing as it did last winter. Jose and his team gave me a very fair bid and did excellent work. They took down my old drywall, used spray foam insulation, hung new drywall, did mud and painted it. Would definitely recommend you use his services.

After looking through reviews around the area for my spray foam needs, I found JCD SprayFoam. Jose, the owner, is very knowledgeable and kept me in the loop during and even after the process. Very dependable family owned business that’s locally owned. Does top notch work and great to work with. Very professional, Highly recommend this company.

Jose was awesome. I am a business owner myself in the HVAC industry and my companies #1 priority is amazing customer service, so naturally this is what I expect when dealing with contractors. I’m also a bit of an ocd individual and know just enough about the spray foam industry to get myself in trouble. Speaking from a business owner stand point...I am your frustrating, annoying customer who wants everything done a particular way because I think I know best. Jose showed up on tome for the initial appointment, provided a written estimate at a fair price (not below market value but not above either) and then showed up on time to perform the job. His guys took extra care to cover literally everything, and then did a really good job. The clean up was flawless and the customer service again was top notch. This was for my personal house, but will have other jobs in the future for my customers and I will always and forever use or refer Jose.

Can’t say enough about these guys. From the first phone call they were great to work with. Very informative, easy to communicate with and on time. They finished my house in one day and most importantly not only did they do a great job they were clean. No mess was left behind and the insulation looked great. If anyone is looking to spray foam their house I highly recommend Investofoam! They do fantastic work!

I am so grateful for the Investofoam team! This was a well timed investment for us. This team was wonderful, professional, and courteous. The Investofoam team really went out of their way to help us before the hard freeze set in and made our freezing house livable again. LifeSavers! We have had our fair share of contractors and I was leery. Michael was knowledgeable about sprayfoam and completed the job EXACTLY as he said he would! His quote was well priced and the job they did was spot on! This was a wonderful, easy transaction - well worth the investment! We even returned all of the fiberglass we had not opened! It was very close for a whole house - and MUCH easier! If you are thinking of insulation, I highly suggest Investofoam! Great Company! I will speaking praises of this company to my friends for many years to come! Great Job TEAM!

I'm posting this on behalf of the nonprofit organization I work for - Reset Mentoring! Biotex Foam was so professional and their work surpassed our expectations beyond our wildest dreams! They left the house in such a neat and orderly condition once they were done with their work and the insulation job looks FANTASTIC. Would 100% recommend, we're blown away by their awesome service.

I hired BioTex Foam to work their magic on the floors of my 1931 house in Austin. They did an outstanding job in every way. Jared and his crew were professional and exceeded expectations. The result was quieter, warmer wood floors in the winter and savings on utilities. I will hire them again any time I need an insulation professional.

Jared and his team are the absolute best for foam insulation. We are a Design-Build firm, and BioTex is always responsive to estimate requests and scheduling and they do excellent work. My collegues in the industry also use BioTex and are equally impressed.

Awesome insulation installation service! I have an old hill country home that was hot upstairs. They installed radiant barrier and blew in 12 inches of fiberglass insulation. Bring on the heat!? And The install crew were very helpful and worked quickly. Will definitely use these guys again.

We selected HeatBusters because of their exceptional reviews. What we discovered is that their reviews did not even do them justice. They were highly professional, remarkably service oriented, and considerably less expensive than the other two bids that we received for the job. They came to the house several times to answer all of our questions and to design a plan for insulating a large attic, and then even came back after the job was done to make sure that we were satisfied. They even took the time to properly insulate our water pipes after a previous contractor (who replumbed the house through the attic) left the job half done. Their expertise and excellent service make them a very easy company to recommend.

Heat Busters did an outstanding job installing a radiant barrier in my attic! From start to finish, the customer service was superb—every step, from the initial consultation to the final installation, was smooth and professional. The team was knowledgeable, respectful of my home, and explained everything clearly. The pricing was extremely fair for the quality of work and materials, and I can already tell the difference in how much cooler my home feels. It’s clear they use top-notch products and take real pride in their work. I highly recommend Heat Busters for anyone looking to improve their home’s energy efficiency. You won’t be disappointed!

I am an HVAC technician in Lakeway Texas so I see a lot of spray foam jobs, I wanted my Dutch barn spray foamed and while searching for the best I came across USA insulation... Everything from the quote to the completion of the job was absolutely flawless... The spray foam team was very diligent and skilled in his trade and took the extra time to tape off areas and keep a clean job site which I definitely appreciate... 10 out of 10 will definitely use these guys again in the future as well as steer my customers in their direction... PS My Dutch barn is like a yeti cooler now haha

Jason and his team did an excellent job on our insulation removal and spray foam installation. Ellie was fantastic at keeping us informed all along the way. Highly recommend!!

Mark Leatherman★★★★★3 months ago

Awesome service. Called them for some spots that had low/missing insulation in a 1980s house we bought. Several companies gave me quotes. But Jason diagnosed serval things in the attic that I hadn’t even noticed. His crew fixed them all and today’s the first day since we moved in that our AC can keep up. Set to 72 and stayed 72 all afternoon. Thank you!

We had 2 inches of closed cell spray foam added to our metal building. Will and his crew did a great job. They were clean, punctual, hard working and an enjoyable crew to work with. This was a big job and they managed to complete it in one day. On top of that they were easily 50% or more less than all the bids I received. I would definitely use Hill Country Insulation again.

Talked with Lee Morris (The owner) about spray foam insulation. He was extremely helpful and provided me with great information & advice on the issues I was having with my attic space. You can tell he knows what he is talking about in the first 5 seconds. Very professional & knowledgeable!

Frequently Asked Questions — Spray Foam Insulation in Leander

These are the questions Leander homeowners ask most about spray foam cost, R-value, and open- vs. closed-cell foam — with context for local pricing and roughly 27% typical energy savings. Compare the 6 verified Leander contractors above for exact quotes.

Does spray foam insulation work well in hot dry climates like Leander?▼
Yes — spray foam is highly effective in hot dry climates like Leander, TX. While moisture control is less of a concern than in humid climates, the air sealing properties are critical for keeping hot desert air out and cooled air in. In extreme heat climates, an unsealed attic can reach 150°F+, dramatically increasing AC load. Spray foam in the attic can reduce attic temperatures by 30–40°F.
What is the best area of my home to insulate in Leander?▼
In hot dry climates like Leander, TX, the attic is typically the highest-impact area to spray foam insulate. Desert sun heats roofs to extreme temperatures, and an uninsulated attic transfers that heat directly into your living space. After the attic, crawl spaces and rim joists are the next highest-impact areas. A local contractor can perform an energy audit to identify where your home loses the most conditioned air.
Is spray foam insulation worth the cost?▼
For most homeowners, yes. Spray foam creates an air-tight seal that traditional insulation cannot match, reducing energy bills by 15–35% annually. It also adds structural rigidity, acts as a moisture and vapor barrier, reduces outside noise, and can increase home resale value. The higher upfront cost compared to fiberglass is typically recovered within 3–7 years. One important note: because spray foam creates a very tight building envelope, proper mechanical ventilation is important to maintain healthy indoor air quality and prevent interior moisture buildup. This is typically handled by an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) — a system that brings fresh outside air in while pushing stale air out, recovering the energy from the outgoing air so you don't waste what you paid to heat or cool — or a Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV), which works similarly but is optimized for cold climates. A qualified contractor will assess whether your home needs ventilation upgrades as part of the installation.
How much does spray foam insulation cost in Leander, TX?▼
In Leander, TX and the surrounding area, spray foam insulation typically costs $1.00–$3.00 per square foot installed, depending on the type and your home's specifics. Open-cell foam runs $0.44–$0.65 per board foot, while closed-cell foam costs $1.00–$2.00 per board foot. A typical 2,000 sq ft home attic in Leander costs $2,000–$6,000. Most Leander homeowners recoup this investment within 3–7 years through energy savings of 15–35% annually.
What is the difference between open-cell and closed-cell spray foam?▼
Open-cell spray foam is softer, less dense, and less expensive. It expands significantly and is ideal for interior walls, attics, and soundproofing. Closed-cell spray foam is denser, stronger, and provides a moisture barrier — making it better for exterior applications, crawl spaces, and areas prone to flooding or humidity. Closed-cell also has a higher R-value per inch (R-6 to R-7 vs R-3.5 to R-4 for open-cell). One key difference: open-cell foam allows some vapor movement, while closed-cell acts as a vapor barrier — an important consideration for your home's ventilation needs.
How long does spray foam insulation last?▼
Spray foam insulation is one of the most durable insulation options available, with a lifespan of 80+ years when properly installed. Unlike fiberglass batting which can sag and settle over time, spray foam maintains its shape and insulating properties indefinitely. It will typically outlast the building it is installed in.
How do I find a qualified spray foam insulation contractor in Leander, TX?▼
When searching for a spray foam contractor in Leander, TX, look for ones who are licensed, insured, and have verifiable reviews. Spray foam requires specialized equipment and training — improper installation can cause off-gassing, adhesion failure, or fire hazards. Ask for references, verify their insurance, and get at least 2–3 quotes. A qualified Leander contractor will also assess your home's ventilation needs — a tightly sealed spray foam installation requires adequate mechanical ventilation to prevent moisture and indoor air quality issues. FoamMatch pre-screens all listed contractors in Leander for licensing and insurance so you can compare verified professionals in your area.
How long does spray foam installation take?▼
Most residential spray foam jobs take 1–2 days depending on the size of the area. A standard attic takes 4–8 hours. After spraying, the foam cures within 24 hours, though most contractors recommend waiting 24–72 hours before occupying the space due to off-gassing during the curing process.
Does spray foam insulation need to be replaced?▼
No — spray foam insulation does not need to be replaced under normal circumstances. Unlike fiberglass insulation which degrades over time, spray foam maintains its R-value and air sealing properties for the life of the building. The only reasons to remove or replace spray foam are water damage, renovation work, or improper original installation.
