Spray Foam Insulation in College Station, TX

I HIGHLY recommend getting this free attic inspection even if you think that you don't need it (my house is 10 years old and was built by Grant Caffey, LLC in 2016, which was owned and operated by Kevin Caffey in College Station about 8 or so years ago. Kevin Caffey also owns Caffey & Sons, which specializes in commercial construction in College Station). The inspection was very thorough and John (owner) was able to expertly explain to me what was going on in my attic and how he and his crew were going to fix it. The crew from LoneStar Air Sealers found major air leaks in my ceiling around all of the canned light fixtures, none of my bathroom vent fans were vented to the outside (the were venting into the blown in insulation in the attic), and all of my soffits were clogged with blown in insulation. All of these issues were causing poor air quality inside the house, overworking the A/C system (due to the intense heat in the attic during the summer months because of lack of adequate attic ventilation), and causing ghosting on my walls due to thermal tracking due to unclean inside air and and extreme temperature differences between the interior of the house and the attic. John and his team moved the blown in insulation to access and seal all of the leaks, properly vent the bathroom fans, cleaned out the soffits, and installed baffles to keep them clean and ensure proper air flow. They also blew in some new insulation in areas that were lacking and evened it all out (everything took 2.5 days to complete). John and his team were on time, highly professional, very friendly, and very knowledgeable in their trade. I HIGHLY recommend LoneStar Air Sealers for all of your insulation/ventilation needs!

Chris is a pro. Foam application was uniform and well done. Prep prior to application was correct and provided for clean edges and good overall finished appearance. Foam isn’t easy and Precision got it right. Ambient temperature was almost 15 degrees lower in a loft space inside of a steel building. Impressive! Thank you

Climate Defense Systems gave me an excellent job at a fair price. My experience was totally positive. I had originally contracted another company to apply Closed Cell on my large barndominium shell. Long story short, after about two months of troubles and only applying about half the required foam the first contractor gave up and went out of business. I contacted Chris who came out to the site and we formulated a plan to finish the job. A couple of weeks later Shaun, Jessie, Zack and Blake showed up right when the said they would and hit the ground running. Their equipment looked right, they did a good job masking and protecting what shouldn’t be foamed, were careful to make sure their system was working properly and worked diligently and attentively to finish the job. When done, they cleaned up. A special compliment to Shaun, who did the spraying. Where the previous contractor had sprayed it looked like a plowed field with fire ant mounds. Where Shaun sprayed on bare metal it looked like someone had stitched a down comforter to the ceiling, beautiful work. Thanks to CDS for saving my foam job, wish I had called them first. Bruce

Mike and the crew an Climate Defense Systems did a excellent job spray foaming my house and man cave. They were very professional and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves and left my house and shop looking better when they left then when they got there. The insulation made a huge difference in my energy consumption and my utilities bill. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering re-insulating their house or anyone building a new house. Abraham and Axel are a power team and couldn’t have been nicer to deal with for the removal and replacement of old insulation in our new home. They were kind enough to rearrange schedules to get our job done on short notice before the movers arrived. Their team were respectful of our property, cleaned up after themselves very well, and were communicative throughout the process. They were gone when we finally turned on the AC and some of the insulation blew into the house where sealing had been missed. After letting Axel know he dispatched a team to remedy the issue. Overall, A+ experience.

We had a great experience with the spray foam process. They covered and protected everything with plastic sheeting and then did a great job cleaning up when they left. Our house cooled off immediately, and the air conditioner is running a lot less and it seems to be happy at a steady 74 or 75° inside in the attic is about the same very cool! Highly recommend

The service exceeded my expectations. It was a great job; I recommend it to everyone.

I had them out to add insulation into my 1979 vaulted ceiling two story house. I'm doing it one room at a time due to time and money constraints, but the first room done was the most in need, and had the best outcome! The room and the roof get sun all day long in the summer, and last summer the heat was so excessive it was crazy! The temperature result was almost immediate, and had me looking forward to getting the rest of the house done. It was a LOT of work on both their and my part. They had to go in through the sheetrock, and then patch it back up. The patchers did an amazing job matching the texture on the ceiling! It was such a mess to clean up, and they did a lot, but that dust gets Everywhere, so as a homeowner I went ahead and overdid the rest of the cleanup myself with family help. I was also responsible for the repainting of the patches which was fine since the room was getting a color change anyway. It was all done over two days, and the workers were always polite. I can't wait to see what my energy bills are like this summer even with just the one room done!
