This company added insulation to my attics, sealed the joist gaps and installed two high efficiency bathroom fans. Everything about the experience was great. There price was significantly lower than a local large that uses the BGE subsidies. On my top floor you can feel that the heat is much more stable on the coldest days. Also our heating system is not coming on as much. I suspect we may see as much as a 30% drop in this winter's electric bills as compared to last winter. There is a good chance that that Jorge's work will pay for itself in less than 2 years.

It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Winner Insulation. They are great with communication. From the initial consultation through the actual work, everything went exactly as promised. We had an issue with a subcontractor for a minor detail in the work, and Winner took care of it right away. 5 stars all around.

We had a great experience with David, Chaya and Winner insulation. Our house is massively more efficient following replacing fiberglass with open-cell spray foam in the attic spaces. Liked working with David on the project and will use them again for our garage. Plus, we can use parts of our attic and we don't have any fiberglass blowing around up there.

Air sealing, exhaust fan ducting, and attic insulation. Great crew and really nice guys. Showed up right on time. Worked to get job done timely. Found a few issues that we did not know about (some air gaps) and took care of them. Walked me through the job at start and upon completion. Happy with the results.

I was very happy with the results Koala did to insulate my attic for this winter. They did an excellent of spreading the insulation all over the attic floor evenly and even added few extra inches what they quoted for. They also threw in an attic tent for the enclosure and a fresh scent stray with the insulation. The crew were very respectful and professional in prepping for the job with drop cloths and cleaning up after the job was done. Their price was most reasonable and flexible with the three estimates I received. Highly recommended if you decide to insulate your attic for the winter.

I can not recommend Koala enough. From the scheduling, to receiving an estimate, to the actual delivery of services- everyone I interacted with were nice and knowledgeable. I just spent days in my attic getting old junk out but the team did such a good job on the various projects up there that I barely recognized it! The attention to detail of leaving a space for storage as we requested was much better than I could have imagined. I highly recommend DeVere Insulation!! We were connected with them through our Greenworks Energy Audit, and they came out to insulate both of our attics. We live in an older home, and the attics hadn’t been touched in years- this was definitely not an easy job, especially in the record-breaking heat of the summer. Jesus and his team were absolutely AMAZING. They were hardworking, respectful of our home, and incredibly meticulous. They found and addressed several issues we weren’t aware of, going above and beyond what we expected. We will be having them back soon to encapsulate our crawl space! Summit Insulation's Spray Foam Insulation I'm the original owner of my Ryland home Crofton, which was built during fall of 1992 and completed January 1993. I was the first home owner on Patrice Circle in my Crofton Woods neighborhood. I have the McHenry model, with a Victorian style facade. Grey Aluminum siding, with navy blue shutters and door, and white trim. Over the years, the traffic and noise volume has only increased on Rt 3/301. Although up to code insulation wise when built, and with replacement windows and new exterior doors already installed, I still could not escape the growing traffic and neighborhood noise. My MHIC Geremias Gomez had jokingly said to me - "Welcome to the mobile home park". I burst out laughing and replied, you're absolutely right! I then began the search to find an insulation contractor who would spray in expanding foam insulation to fill the space between the exterior siding and the interior sheet rock walls. Baltimore based Summit is the only remaining company that provides this type of insulation service. So I contacted them, and Tom Ragsdale came out, gave me the estimate and I quickly signed the contract. The work was performed yesterday, and all day event from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Chris and his all Latino team of seven men were wonderful to work with. Very respectful of me and the interior of my house. The exterior of my house, grey aluminum siding, now looks cleaner and brighter than it did before they began their spray foam insulation process. I can already tell the difference in noise reduction, and it's been less than 24 hours since they finished their job! Finally I'm very grateful for the caring manner with which my Latino crew treated me. They knew I had my right hip replacement surgery less than 30 days ago. They were so careful to make sure I didn't accidentally stumble and fall, extending me an arm to grab if needed. In short, they treated me as they would want their Abuela to be treated. Just had my entire house insulated. It's a 25 year old house, but we would get drafts, and our electric bills were sky high. Had an OUTSTANDING experience with everyone from Joe the estimator, to Chris the crew supervisor, as well as Dan the owner. Everyone was courteous, professional, and extremely hard working. My house was a 2 day job, and it rained on the first day, but apparently that doesn't stop these guys at all! The entire 4 man crew kept working through the rain, and came back the next day to complete the job in it's entirety. I was able to see and hear the insulation being pumped into my walls, and it's still only the first day since the completion, but the sound difference is immediate. I already live in a quiet neighborhood, but now you can hear a pin drop. I didn't even know that sound reduction was a benefit, but if that's what you're looking for, this stuff really works! Time will tell if my heating and air conditioning bills improve, but I can say that I already feel cozier as the weather is finally turning cold. I highly recommend Summit insulation, and taking the time to compose this review is proof enough, as I rarely write reviews at all :)

These guys did an excellent job insulating the attic space of a townhouse we were remodeling. We had a wide range of ceiling depths, and Gerald helped us figure out the best combination of batt and foam insulation to meet code without overspending. They also did the cleanest work of any sub on our whole remodel, and the inspector even commented what a good job they did with the foam installation.

Gerald and the crew were absolutely wonderful to work with, gave me a fair and honest opinion and estimate. They got to me quickly and completed the work quickly and painlessly with no mess or issues and the end result looks great and hopefully saves on energy cost.

I highly recommend Pyramid Insulation for your insulation needs around Baltimore! Our house is a 1950s Cape Cod that is a little more difficult to insulate than your typical house. But it was clear that the team has had a lot of experience doing this kind of work. Their quote was cheaper than another company I consulted, had a more thorough plan, and was able to squeeze us into our schedule due to our baby’s due date coming up! It was supposed to be a one day job, but they were going to require an extra day of work to complete it thoroughly. I’m so glad they were able to finish the job the next day, because today the outside temperature went down to the 40s and our house is still 70 degrees without the heat on yet! It made a total difference!

My company does additions and renovations in Montgomery and Prince Georges County. Cameron has insulated three projects over the last year. Their work is thorough, neat and complete. The installation crews are pleasant and efficient; they clean up after themselves. Additionally, their sales and support staff is responsive and very easy to deal with. Their prices are fair. I have worked with several other insulation companies over the years and I consider Cameron to be among the best. I would recommend them to any firm or homeowner looking for a quality job at a fair price.

I've been a homeowner for 21 years. In all that time, I have used dozens of contractors for renovation, HVAC, roofing, electrical, plumbing, etc. I can now add Dan Smallenbroek as only the third contractor/consultant that I trust implicitly to that list. Prior to working with Dan, I received an estimate from another highly regarded insulation company for attic encapsulation. In fact, that company's name was the only one I had heard from anyone I asked about potential insulation companies. The salesman was knowledgeable, but had a one size fits all approach. This other guy didn't try to understand what I was trying to accomplish and just kept telling me that trying anything else would not work. I called Accurate Insulation to get a second estimate to see if it jived with the competitor's. I explained to Dan that I thought I already had a good company with a reasonable quote but wanted to make sure I was getting what I really wanted. Dan promised to come out, survey my attic, and give an honest recommendation. With his help and collaboration, I picked a system that worked for finishing an attic. He spent a significant amount of time educating me about R values, the difference between blown in, fiberglass, open and closed cell insulation, and the rebates and tax credits for which I was potentially eligible. He was never pushy and not for a second did I feel that he was trying to upsell. The energy audit ended up getting me a 35% rebate which Dan facilitated on the front side. He also gave me the resources to help me apply for a federal tax credit which means the final cost for the entire insulation project will be a whopping 50% off Accurate's quoted price. This doesn't mean others will have the same result, but it's nice learning ahead of time what your all-in cost will be instead after the fact when you're not eligible anymore. The energy audit process means that everything takes more time, but it also means you'll probably make a better informed decision at a fraction of what a job actually costs. It's 91 degrees oustide right now. My HVAC unit currently sits in conditioned air space at 74 instead of 130 degrees and we're in the process of having the attic finished off as an office for my wife. I'd be remiss in not saying Accurate's energy auditor, Mike Sears, spent an extra 90 minutes post-audit going over problem areas in my house and offering his own insights for improving energy efficiency. The encapsulation reduced air flow loss by 31% which has to translate to lower heating and cooling costs going forward. If you're considering insulating your attic, I can not recommend Dan Smallenbroek and his crew with Accurate Insulation highly enough. Much obliged - Kevin & Diann

Outstanding company w/professional & courteous employees. We called on Thursday to have a spring replaced in our garage door, Andy called us back within an hour to schedule appt. & send proposal. Tuesday morning @9am Nathan & another gentleman showed up to do the work. They did a fantastic job, were done in less than an hour:) We highly recommend Accurate Insulation of Hagerstown.
