Spray Foam Insulation in Baltimore, MD

This company added insulation to my attic, sealed the joist gaps and installed two high powered bathroom fans. Everything about the experience was great. Now that I’m at R49 i’m sure i’ll save at least 20% on my heating and cooling.

Jorge and his team did a great job air sealing and adding insulation to my attic. He was extremely detail oriented in his approach to identifying the issues, explaining the proper way to solve them and following through on everything he said. I was very happy with the results Koala did to insulate my attic for this winter. They did an excellent of spreading the insulation all over the attic floor evenly and even added few extra inches what they quoted for. They also threw in an attic tent for the enclosure and a fresh scent stray with the insulation. The crew were very respectful and professional in prepping for the job with drop cloths and cleaning up after the job was done. Their price was most reasonable and flexible with the three estimates I received. Highly recommended if you decide to insulate your attic for the winter.

This experience with Koala Insulation was great from start to finish! From scheduling the appt to the initial consultation. Jasper was sent out to discuss the attic remediation I was in need of. I was quoted an insane amount from a pest control company and was looking for a realistic and affordable option. Jasper was nothing short of amazing! Explaining the process and helped me get the best solutions for the best cost. The energy assessment that’s part of the job and provides rebates was so helpful. The install lived up to the same great experience. The installers were professional, knowledgeable, and let me know what they were doing. They cleaned up very well after the work was complete. We had a great experience with David, Chaya and Winner insulation. Our house is massively more efficient following replacing fiberglass with open-cell spray foam in the attic spaces. Liked working with David on the project and will use them again for our garage. Plus, we can use parts of our attic and we don't have any fiberglass blowing around up there.

David and his team were highly professional from start to finish. They were very thorough, had extreme attention to detail, and made sure the project was handled with care. The quality of spray foam they used is excellent. It holds internal temp very well, and doesn’t have a funky odor like other brands. They finished the project on schedule, left the house clean, and made sure inspection was passed. The service level you get with Winner Insulation is unmatched. They provide a much more tailored and personalized service than some of the bigger names in the area (DeVere Insulation). Highly recommended them, and I will certainly be a returning customer for future projects!

She answered all of my questions promptly. She is thorough. Liz was super helpful with billing and paperwork. Jesus and his crew worked on our house for two days. They arrived on time (actually, they were early and ready to start as soon as I got home). They were meticulous and we are blown away by their workmanship. After air sealing the attic and basement as well as covering/protecting the recessed lights, they installed batt insulation as well as blown in. We are grateful for their expertise on how/where/what type of insulation to use. They also properly vented our exhaust fans as well as installed one with a timer. They left the work areas spotless. They did such a phenomenal job and we know their work will significantly improve our home. So impressed with how they could get around the areas that they worked on…tight spaces! The crew put in tremendous effort to get our job finished in two days (around my work schedule). Truly appreciate their time, hard work, and craftsmanship. One of the best decisions made was going with Devere for this job.

Working with everyone at DeVere was a true pleasure. I Dealt with Cindy, Luis, John, and all the guys on the crew. All of whom were extremely friendly and professional. The crew completed a ton of work in my house over the course of two days, and took care of my home as if it was their own. If you're looking for home comfort work, I couldn't recommend them enough!

Air sealing, exhaust fan ducting, and attic insulation. Great crew and really nice guys. Showed up right on time. Worked to get job done timely. Found a few issues that we did not know about (some air gaps) and took care of them. Walked me through the job at start and upon completion. Happy with the results.

Recently contacted Cameron Insulation and was very pleased with how I was treated on the phone. All questions were answered well and with enough detail to make me want to continue the process. Matt Lee showed up on time for the estimate. He again explained what I had currently in my attic and what options made sense to improve the comfort level on my second floor. The estimate was clear and listed all options I might want to consider separately. The install team arrived on time and the work was completed well and they cleaned up well as they left. I needed to have some old material removed as well as blow in the new material. Matt gave me good tips on why I probably did not want to do it myself. He was correct. I would have had a mess on my hands if I tried to remove the old material myself. Glad I paid the extra to have them take care of it. All in all good experience and I highly recommend them. They also did a neighbor's house after they observed the service I received. Well done Cameron Insulation. With the current cold temps we felt an immediate difference in the second floor temperature level.

When we inquired about an estimate they got back to us right away. Gave us one that couldn't be beat by other companies. After a slight hiccup Scott and Wanye jumped in and handled the situation right away to our satisfaction. The installers were right on time, professional and courteous about our dog. They laid down plastic and cleaned up after themselves. Took a little over an hour and we were able to inspect the job before they were done. We can certainly notice the difference in how our home feels now.

I am very happy with Cameron. Everyone was responsive and easy to work with. Estimating, scheduling and the work all went very smoothly, everything as promised. The work is good and the prices reasonable. I have used Cameron twice at my house, and would use them again if I ever need insulation work again.

We got several different bids for different types of insulation products for our 1500+ square foot attic in North Bethesda, but Dennis Wilston of USI Carroll was by far the most professional and knowledgeable rep we met with. From the onset, he was thorough in his inspection, and patient with all of our questions. His quote was fair and even though we had to wait several weeks for our appointment, it was totally worth it. His crew did an amazing job airsealing and insulating the entire space. And left their work are perfectly spotless. The Montgomery County inspector even commented on how great a job Dennis' crew did. I just recommended this company to my neighbor and would not hesitate to call Dennis again. He is fantastic to work with and very old school in that he actually cares, and gives great service!

We have nothing but amazing things to say about Chris! I called him in the morning and he came out that same afternoon to look at our attic. Our pest company had told us (in a very dramatic delivery) that we needed all our attic insulation ripped out & reinstalled, a big and very expensive project. Chris inspected the attic and assured us our insulation was in great shape and there was absolutely no reason to replace it. He did tell us that it was lacking a bit and we might want to eventually add more insulation to make our home more energy efficient. He sent a quote for that work the very next day. It's nice to know there are still good, honest people out there! We'll absolutely be using them for insulation work when the time comes.

I highly recommend DeVere Insulation!! We were connected with them through our Greenworks Energy Audit, and they came out to insulate both of our attics. We live in an older home, and the attics hadn’t been touched in years- this was definitely not an easy job, especially in the record-breaking heat of the summer. Jesus and his team were absolutely AMAZING. They were hardworking, respectful of our home, and incredibly meticulous. They found and addressed several issues we weren’t aware of, going above and beyond what we expected. We will be having them back soon to encapsulate our crawl space! We highly recommend them for your insulation needs!

DeVere was recommended but I attempted to deal with two other companies for my attic/roof spray foam repair job. I was crazy to even think of dealing with others. One spray foam company wanted a dozen pictures and other details and then estimated the spray foam job over the phone at double what DeVere did for a full in person estimate. That other company never returned my messages after giving me the I don’t want that job price estimate. One other company took so long to give me an estimate that DeVere had already done the estimate and job before they could get out to provide an estimate. DeVere’s whole team is very professional, good timely estimate, quality spray foam job, great prep and clean up. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. I can now install my fiberglass insulation and drywall in my garage after my roof repairs. Thank you so much team DeVere

I want to say how awesome DeVere's service was. I was scheduled quickly, and the foam was applied methodically and correctly in layers. Not only that, but I paid to entirely fill my stud and rafter bays, and it's required because of the way foam is applied to have a small air gap that isn't filled, since you can't make foam totally flat. DeVere went above and beyond, actually slightly over filling certain areas so that NO area was below what I had paid for. They taped off beautifully and cleaned up wonderfully. I would give them 6 stars if I could. Here is a photo of just one small area, showing how they cut off the excess, but they also did an entire large room.

Summit Insulation is a great company to work with. Dan was our first contact and he did a great job of explaining what insulating the house entails. The crew that came to our house was cheerful and polite. Their cheerfulness and politeness made it a real pleasure to work with them. They even shared their lunch with me! I have a big house, so there was a lot of insulation to install. It was a long day but they got the job done in one day and were still laughing a joking at the end. When the house was finished, they cleaned up everything and left the property as they found it that the morning. It's been only a couple of days, but I've already noticed improvements with the house. Summit Insulation's Spray Foam Insulation I'm the original owner of my Ryland home Crofton, which was built during fall of 1992 and completed January 1993. I was the first home owner on Patrice Circle in my Crofton Woods neighborhood. I have the McHenry model, with a Victorian style facade. Grey Aluminum siding, with navy blue shutters and door, and white trim. Over the years, the traffic and noise volume has only increased on Rt 3/301. Although up to code insulation wise when built, and with replacement windows and new exterior doors already installed, I still could not escape the growing traffic and neighborhood noise. My MHIC Geremias Gomez had jokingly said to me - "Welcome to the mobile home park". I burst out laughing and replied, you're absolutely right! I then began the search to find an insulation contractor who would spray in expanding foam insulation to fill the space between the exterior siding and the interior sheet rock walls. Baltimore based Summit is the only remaining company that provides this type of insulation service. So I contacted them, and Tom Ragsdale came out, gave me the estimate and I quickly signed the contract. The work was performed yesterday, and all day event from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Chris and his all Latino team of seven men were wonderful to work with. Very respectful of me and the interior of my house. The exterior of my house, grey aluminum siding, now looks cleaner and brighter than it did before they began their spray foam insulation process. I can already tell the difference in noise reduction, and it's been less than 24 hours since they finished their job! Finally I'm very grateful for the caring manner with which my Latino crew treated me. They knew I had my right hip replacement surgery less than 30 days ago. They were so careful to make sure I didn't accidentally stumble and fall, extending me an arm to grab if needed. In short, they treated me as they would want their Abuela to be treated. These guys did an excellent job insulating the attic space of a townhouse we were remodeling. We had a wide range of ceiling depths, and Gerald helped us figure out the best combination of batt and foam insulation to meet code without overspending. They also did the cleanest work of any sub on our whole remodel, and the inspector even commented what a good job they did with the foam installation.

Gerald and the crew were absolutely wonderful to work with, gave me a fair and honest opinion and estimate. They got to me quickly and completed the work quickly and painlessly with no mess or issues and the end result looks great and hopefully saves on energy cost.

I highly recommend Pyramid Insulation for your insulation needs around Baltimore! Our house is a 1950s Cape Cod that is a little more difficult to insulate than your typical house. But it was clear that the team has had a lot of experience doing this kind of work. Their quote was cheaper than another company I consulted, had a more thorough plan, and was able to squeeze us into our schedule due to our baby’s due date coming up! It was supposed to be a one day job, but they were going to require an extra day of work to complete it thoroughly. I’m so glad they were able to finish the job the next day, because today the outside temperature went down to the 40s and our house is still 70 degrees without the heat on yet! It made a total difference!
