Spray Foam Insulation in Annapolis, MD

David, Flip and the removal/installation team were a pleasure to work with. I was given a detailed estimate with 4 options which were thoroughly explained to me. I decided to replace my fiberglass batten crawl space insulation with sprayed closed cell foam. The price was very reasonable and the crawl looks great! I highly recommend Elite!

The company gave me a very good price for the attic insulation installation. The only thing to know is that you have to do inspection after the work is done. They did not install enough insulation in my attic the first time. After I inspected the quality of the installation, I have to send email to describe the issue. They came back to fix the issue. They finally got the work done as I expected.

David, Flip, and the Elite team were fantastic. Our home couldn't rise above 62ish degrees inside during the winter despite our heater working perfectly fine. David and Flip managed to address our concerns quickly and they maintained excellent communication throughout the process. After the Elite team came in and worked their magic, we have been at a comfortable 72 degrees even while the weather has been in the teens outside. From top to bottom, everyone we met was considerate, professional, and clean. We would recommend Elite to any of our friends who have need for improved insulation. This company added insulation to my attic, sealed the joist gaps and installed two high powered bathroom fans. Everything about the experience was great. Now that I’m at R49 i’m sure i’ll save at least 20% on my heating and cooling.

He was extremely detail oriented in his approach to identifying the issues, explaining the proper way to solve them and following through on everything he said. Air sealing, exhaust fan ducting, and attic insulation. Great crew and really nice guys. Showed up right on time. Worked to get job done timely. Found a few issues that we did not know about (some air gaps) and took care of them. Walked me through the job at start and upon completion. Happy with the results.

We got several different bids for different types of insulation products for our 1500+ square foot attic in North Bethesda, but Dennis Wilston of USI Carroll was by far the most professional and knowledgeable rep we met with. From the onset, he was thorough in his inspection, and patient with all of our questions. His quote was fair and even though we had to wait several weeks for our appointment, it was totally worth it. His crew did an amazing job airsealing and insulating the entire space. And left their work are perfectly spotless. The Montgomery County inspector even commented on how great a job Dennis' crew did. I just recommended this company to my neighbor and would not hesitate to call Dennis again. He is fantastic to work with and very old school in that he actually cares, and gives great service!

Outstanding company w/professional & courteous employees. We called on Thursday to have a spring replaced in our garage door, Andy called us back within an hour to schedule appt. & send proposal. Tuesday morning @9am Nathan & another gentleman showed up to do the work. They did a fantastic job, were done in less than an hour:) We highly recommend Accurate Insulation of Hagerstown.

I've been a homeowner for 21 years. In all that time, I have used dozens of contractors for renovation, HVAC, roofing, electrical, plumbing, etc. I can now add Dan Smallenbroek as only the third contractor/consultant that I trust implicitly to that list. Prior to working with Dan, I received an estimate from another highly regarded insulation company for attic encapsulation. In fact, that company's name was the only one I had heard from anyone I asked about potential insulation companies. The salesman was knowledgeable, but had a one size fits all approach. This other guy didn't try to understand what I was trying to accomplish and just kept telling me that trying anything else would not work. I called Accurate Insulation to get a second estimate to see if it jived with the competitor's. I explained to Dan that I thought I already had a good company with a reasonable quote but wanted to make sure I was getting what I really wanted. Dan promised to come out, survey my attic, and give an honest recommendation. With his help and collaboration, I picked a system that worked for finishing an attic. He spent a significant amount of time educating me about R values, the difference between blown in, fiberglass, open and closed cell insulation, and the rebates and tax credits for which I was potentially eligible. He was never pushy and not for a second did I feel that he was trying to upsell. The energy audit ended up getting me a 35% rebate which Dan facilitated on the front side. He also gave me the resources to help me apply for a federal tax credit which means the final cost for the entire insulation project will be a whopping 50% off Accurate's quoted price. This doesn't mean others will have the same result, but it's nice learning ahead of time what your all-in cost will be instead after the fact when you're not eligible anymore. The energy audit process means that everything takes more time, but it also means you'll probably make a better informed decision at a fraction of what a job actually costs. It's 91 degrees oustide right now. My HVAC unit currently sits in conditioned air space at 74 instead of 130 degrees and we're in the process of having the attic finished off as an office for my wife. I'd be remiss in not saying Accurate's energy auditor, Mike Sears, spent an extra 90 minutes post-audit going over problem areas in my house and offering his own insights for improving energy efficiency. The encapsulation reduced air flow loss by 31% which has to translate to lower heating and cooling costs going forward. If you're considering insulating your attic, I can not recommend Dan Smallenbroek and his crew with Accurate Insulation highly enough. Much obliged - Kevin & Diann
