Elite lives up to their name. The owner Troy is honest fast and reliable. From the moment I spoke with Troy, I knew that I had the guy for the job. In less than 72 hours I had a beautiful new roof. Right after I had the house powerwashed and the washer dislodged something. Troy came out personally the next day and repaired it at no extra cost. Great guy! Highly recommend.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Troy and his team. Troy is extremely responsive and willing to answer any questions you might have. His quote was by far the most detailed we received, and included all of the necessary components with no hidden charges. He completed the job quickly and beautifully! I HIGHLY recommend Troy and his team to anyone looking for a new roof!

Thomas came to my apartment to inspect possible mold. Not only did he have a friendly and professional demeanor he was very informative about every step taken. He took the time to explain the tests being conducted and well as next steps for future repair. He answered all my questions and exceeded my expectations.

RTK was so easy to work with. They were able to have someone come the next day to check our potential mold issue. Lydia was so knowledgeable and so pleasurable to have in our apartment. She really helped walk me through everything and explain next steps, etc. I’d highly recommend anyone working with RTK and definitely request Lydia!

I had Lydia come evaluate my apartment and I couldn't have been more pleased! She had been recommended to me specifically, and I now know why. She makes you feel very comfortable with being in your home, explains everything very clearly, presents cost-effective options, and is very knowledgable about her work and the process. I haven't gotten results back yet but regardless, I greatly appreciate her kindness and professionalism during the testing!

The best spray foam company around

Diana B★★★★★a year ago

As a homeowner in the process of obtaining a certificate of occupancy for my property, I encountered a significant hurdle in acquiring a crucial document from your company as the job was done several years prior. I reached out to your team, and from the very beginning, the level of professionalism and dedication demonstrated by each member was truly remarkable. Your team went above and beyond to assist me, guiding me through the necessary steps and promptly providing the document I needed to move forward with the certification process. Not only was the service efficient, but it was also delivered with a genuine sense of care and understanding, making what could have been a stressful situation remarkably smooth and manageable. I will not hesitate to recommend your services to anyone in need, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with your team again in the future.

I was very satisfied with the work done by Antonio insulation. They are professional, dependable, and punctual. I will keep using their services for as long as I need because I know I can trust them and you can’t beat their prices!

LAYCOS★★★★★5 years ago

I know Antonio since he was just starting business many years ago , and I can't complain at all Pros :all my projects were completed with no problems , 100% of then pass inspection and never had problems with damage equipment during installation ( a common problem with insulation companies) can't complain on price as well always had a fear price . Cons : some minor things like maintaining a better communication during a project and a little more presentation on the trucks ( cleaning and stuff ) Overall I will keep continue hiring Antonio for my projects , I had a couple trys with some new insulation companies in the ct area ( got a better offer ) but at the end I realize the material they use were cheap and theres no compromise taking care my stuff on the job .

Had ecologic come out to do the spray foam work in my attic and basement that we decided to finish. They were amazing and the quality of their work was very impressive. I had a different company do work two years ago on a different area in my house, and was not happy with the final product. Was unsure if I wanted to use foam again, but Rich assured me that I was in good hands with his team. The Crew that came out was very thorough and meticulous. not only was the workmanship excellent, but they left the place Spotless upon completion. I cant recommend these guys Enough!!! Thanks Guys!!

Yiska Batsarai★★★★★6 years ago

I contacted Ecologic Energy Solutions to have my old attic insulated. Sales rep Richard came out the very next day to give me an estimate which was better than I had anticipated. He was very knowledgeable about updating and suggested I foam the attic roof AND walls. I had gotten other prices from other companies but they were $500-1000 more for the same job. Even better, Richard saw the project out from beginning to end, and the crew that came did an amazing job and left my attic spotless. What more can I say? As I continue to update my house, I will definitely use Ecologic in the future for my insulation needs.

Bob Janson★★★★★8 years ago

I used Ecologic for spray foam in my addition in this past fall. Of the three companies I contacted, they were the most responsive, knowledgeable and also competitively priced. Their workers were efficient, neat and it was clear they took pride in their work. I'd recommend them to anybody looking for a good insulator, really top notch.

Frequently Asked Questions — Spray Foam Insulation in Stamford

These are the questions Stamford homeowners ask most about spray foam cost, R-value, and open- vs. closed-cell foam — with context for local pricing and roughly 35% typical energy savings. Compare the 11 verified Stamford contractors above for exact quotes.

How much can spray foam insulation save on heating and cooling bills in Stamford?
Homeowners in mixed climates like Stamford, CT typically see 20–30% reductions in total energy costs after spray foam installation. The savings come from both reduced heating in winter and reduced cooling in summer. The exact savings depend on your home's current insulation, size, and local energy rates, but most homeowners recoup the investment within 3–6 years.
Is spray foam better than fiberglass insulation for homes in Stamford?
For most homes in Stamford, CT, spray foam outperforms fiberglass significantly. Fiberglass batts insulate but do not air seal — meaning conditioned air still escapes through gaps. Spray foam both insulates and creates an airtight seal, addressing the root cause of energy loss. While spray foam costs more upfront, the performance difference in mixed climates makes it the better long-term investment for most homeowners.
Is spray foam insulation worth the cost?
For most homeowners, yes. Spray foam creates an air-tight seal that traditional insulation cannot match, reducing energy bills by 15–35% annually. It also adds structural rigidity, acts as a moisture and vapor barrier, reduces outside noise, and can increase home resale value. The higher upfront cost compared to fiberglass is typically recovered within 3–7 years. One important note: because spray foam creates a very tight building envelope, proper mechanical ventilation is important to maintain healthy indoor air quality and prevent interior moisture buildup. This is typically handled by an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) — a system that brings fresh outside air in while pushing stale air out, recovering the energy from the outgoing air so you don't waste what you paid to heat or cool — or a Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV), which works similarly but is optimized for cold climates. A qualified contractor will assess whether your home needs ventilation upgrades as part of the installation.
How much does spray foam insulation cost in Stamford, CT?
In Stamford, CT and the surrounding area, spray foam insulation typically costs $1.00–$3.00 per square foot installed, depending on the type and your home's specifics. Open-cell foam runs $0.44–$0.65 per board foot, while closed-cell foam costs $1.00–$2.00 per board foot. A typical 2,000 sq ft home attic in Stamford costs $2,000–$6,000. Most Stamford homeowners recoup this investment within 3–7 years through energy savings of 15–35% annually.
What is the difference between open-cell and closed-cell spray foam?
Open-cell spray foam is softer, less dense, and less expensive. It expands significantly and is ideal for interior walls, attics, and soundproofing. Closed-cell spray foam is denser, stronger, and provides a moisture barrier — making it better for exterior applications, crawl spaces, and areas prone to flooding or humidity. Closed-cell also has a higher R-value per inch (R-6 to R-7 vs R-3.5 to R-4 for open-cell). One key difference: open-cell foam allows some vapor movement, while closed-cell acts as a vapor barrier — an important consideration for your home's ventilation needs.
How long does spray foam insulation last?
Spray foam insulation is one of the most durable insulation options available, with a lifespan of 80+ years when properly installed. Unlike fiberglass batting which can sag and settle over time, spray foam maintains its shape and insulating properties indefinitely. It will typically outlast the building it is installed in.
How do I find a qualified spray foam insulation contractor in Stamford, CT?
When searching for a spray foam contractor in Stamford, CT, look for ones who are licensed, insured, and have verifiable reviews. Spray foam requires specialized equipment and training — improper installation can cause off-gassing, adhesion failure, or fire hazards. Ask for references, verify their insurance, and get at least 2–3 quotes. A qualified Stamford contractor will also assess your home's ventilation needs — a tightly sealed spray foam installation requires adequate mechanical ventilation to prevent moisture and indoor air quality issues. FoamMatch pre-screens all listed contractors in Stamford for licensing and insurance so you can compare verified professionals in your area.
How long does spray foam installation take?
Most residential spray foam jobs take 1–2 days depending on the size of the area. A standard attic takes 4–8 hours. After spraying, the foam cures within 24 hours, though most contractors recommend waiting 24–72 hours before occupying the space due to off-gassing during the curing process.
Does spray foam insulation need to be replaced?
No — spray foam insulation does not need to be replaced under normal circumstances. Unlike fiberglass insulation which degrades over time, spray foam maintains its R-value and air sealing properties for the life of the building. The only reasons to remove or replace spray foam are water damage, renovation work, or improper original installation.
