We had a great experience working with Eugene and Dimitriy. They stayed on schedule and worked out any little hiccups quickly. The end product of our total kitchen remodel is beautiful. The lighting, cabinets, new longer island, countertops, sink, faucet, floors, baseboard, crown molding and fixtures are so functional yet elegant. We are very happy with their work. Steven and his sons were great to work with. Thank you to the entire America's Advantage team! It's been 9 months and we are still immensely enjoying our kitchen. We have referred this company multiple times.

American Advantage Remodeling worked very closely with us to do some remodeling in our home. They remodeled our main bathroom, which was very small with a pedestal sink, and a very old, fiberglass tub/shower, see photos. The tile was put in beautifully; we also had radiant floor heat installed that cost very little compared to the warmth and impact it has on the comfort of the bathroom. They also put in new wood flooring in one bedroom and a built-in a bookshelf in the hallway - see photos. The job included a lot of work changing walls to recapture more space in the home itself, adding a pantry, we never had before, and also a utility closet. Eugene, the owner and estimator, walked through all of our requests and concerns regarding the work, and came up with an excellent plan to help resolve the issues that we had been dealing with for over 15 years. Dmitriy, his manager, continued to work with us throughout the job to modify change and fine-tune what we desired in terms of the home. He and often his crew, provided suggestions beyond what we could imagine, that has created a wonderful change in the comfort of our home. They widened our doorways to accommodate handicap access, installed three new doors, provided imperfect smooth work on our walls in our living area, installed lighting for our artwork, allowing us to display generations of family paintings and other artwork. For a number of these changes, we realized that we wanted them after the contract was signed. With any other contractor we would have had to sign a series of change orders that would increase the price of the job. Despite the many changes, they stayed within the job’s budget and still provided excellent work and services. Their main goal was to ensure our satisfaction with the job. It was to make sure that we had a home we loved. The work was professional, timely, and every day we knew who would be there and what they would be working on. Every single worker who came to our home was kindly, pleasant, receptive, and excellent at what they did.

Best price, best quality, best people. Pick these guys!! America's Advantage Remodeling transformed my first duplex remodel beyond what I could have hoped for. Dmitriy, one of the owners, was truly exceptional--his expertise, attention to detail, and dedication to my vision were invaluable. He walked me through every step, offering smart, strategic advice that optimized the remodel for maximum investment potential. From start to finish, the team delivered the best quality, the best price, and an experience that was top-notch in every way. Dmitriy and his crew were always professional, thorough, and clearly committed to getting every detail right. I couldn't be happier with the results and am thrilled to continue working with them on many more projects. Highly, highly recommend!

We couldn’t be happier with the work that Clear Efficiency did on making our home more comfortable and quieter! Other vendors have come through for different jobs and remarked that the attic renovation seemed above and beyond the kind of work they normally see. When I had a couple questions about the job, they didn’t hesitate to come out the same day and help me understand the different aspects of the sealing job they did and how exactly it’s benefiting our energy usage and comfort. A+ 5 out of 5, highly highly recommended.

Had clear efficiency come out in November of 2024 to give quote for attic reseal and new insulation. Don was very professional and explained everything from work to rebates. I then asked about updating my HVAC system in my house and he also went over everything and was not pushy just provided estimates. I was very happy with his service that I got both the attic and HVAC redone with them. Jesse and his team got me right in and worked around my busy work schedule and was even able to get the attic done while I was at work. We did have some hiccups with the rebate for the work but I got all the rebates and I’m very pleased with there quality of work. Would recommend to anyone.

Clear Efficiency supplied and installed eighteen (18) Maxeon Max 3 solar panels at my home (Maxeon’s extended 40-year warranty requires registration). Clear Efficiency is very knowledgeable and experienced, offering me the latest solar panel technology. Their pricing is competitive and the installation was professional and executed on schedule. They submitted the NEM application, took care of the permitting, and provided financing, making the whole processes hassle free. Before this, I was paying high electrical and gas utility bills to PGE. After the first 12 months, my solar panel system generated a surplus of over 3,000 kWh, making me eligible for a Net Surplus Compensation at True-Up. Since then I purchased an electric vehicle and I expect my solar panel system to power most of my home’s electrical energy usage, including a Central Air/Heat Comfort Heat Pump system and Heat Pump Hybrid Water Heater.

I had them come out to insulate my garage (underneath the roof). They did a great job! It included a white cover sheet to make my garage look nice and tidy. I'll definitely be calling them for insulation projects in the future.

Frequently Asked Questions — Spray Foam Insulation in Roseville

These are the questions Roseville homeowners ask most about spray foam cost, R-value, and open- vs. closed-cell foam — with context for local pricing and roughly 27% typical energy savings. Compare the 3 verified Roseville contractors above for exact quotes.

Does spray foam insulation work well in hot dry climates like Roseville?
Yes — spray foam is highly effective in hot dry climates like Roseville, CA. While moisture control is less of a concern than in humid climates, the air sealing properties are critical for keeping hot desert air out and cooled air in. In extreme heat climates, an unsealed attic can reach 150°F+, dramatically increasing AC load. Spray foam in the attic can reduce attic temperatures by 30–40°F.
What is the best area of my home to insulate in Roseville?
In hot dry climates like Roseville, CA, the attic is typically the highest-impact area to spray foam insulate. Desert sun heats roofs to extreme temperatures, and an uninsulated attic transfers that heat directly into your living space. After the attic, crawl spaces and rim joists are the next highest-impact areas. A local contractor can perform an energy audit to identify where your home loses the most conditioned air.
Is spray foam insulation worth the cost?
For most homeowners, yes. Spray foam creates an air-tight seal that traditional insulation cannot match, reducing energy bills by 15–35% annually. It also adds structural rigidity, acts as a moisture and vapor barrier, reduces outside noise, and can increase home resale value. The higher upfront cost compared to fiberglass is typically recovered within 3–7 years. One important note: because spray foam creates a very tight building envelope, proper mechanical ventilation is important to maintain healthy indoor air quality and prevent interior moisture buildup. This is typically handled by an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) — a system that brings fresh outside air in while pushing stale air out, recovering the energy from the outgoing air so you don't waste what you paid to heat or cool — or a Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV), which works similarly but is optimized for cold climates. A qualified contractor will assess whether your home needs ventilation upgrades as part of the installation.
How much does spray foam insulation cost in Roseville, CA?
In Roseville, CA and the surrounding area, spray foam insulation typically costs $1.00–$3.00 per square foot installed, depending on the type and your home's specifics. Open-cell foam runs $0.44–$0.65 per board foot, while closed-cell foam costs $1.00–$2.00 per board foot. A typical 2,000 sq ft home attic in Roseville costs $2,000–$6,000. Most Roseville homeowners recoup this investment within 3–7 years through energy savings of 15–35% annually.
What is the difference between open-cell and closed-cell spray foam?
Open-cell spray foam is softer, less dense, and less expensive. It expands significantly and is ideal for interior walls, attics, and soundproofing. Closed-cell spray foam is denser, stronger, and provides a moisture barrier — making it better for exterior applications, crawl spaces, and areas prone to flooding or humidity. Closed-cell also has a higher R-value per inch (R-6 to R-7 vs R-3.5 to R-4 for open-cell). One key difference: open-cell foam allows some vapor movement, while closed-cell acts as a vapor barrier — an important consideration for your home's ventilation needs.
How long does spray foam insulation last?
Spray foam insulation is one of the most durable insulation options available, with a lifespan of 80+ years when properly installed. Unlike fiberglass batting which can sag and settle over time, spray foam maintains its shape and insulating properties indefinitely. It will typically outlast the building it is installed in.
How do I find a qualified spray foam insulation contractor in Roseville, CA?
When searching for a spray foam contractor in Roseville, CA, look for ones who are licensed, insured, and have verifiable reviews. Spray foam requires specialized equipment and training — improper installation can cause off-gassing, adhesion failure, or fire hazards. Ask for references, verify their insurance, and get at least 2–3 quotes. A qualified Roseville contractor will also assess your home's ventilation needs — a tightly sealed spray foam installation requires adequate mechanical ventilation to prevent moisture and indoor air quality issues. FoamMatch pre-screens all listed contractors in Roseville for licensing and insurance so you can compare verified professionals in your area.
How long does spray foam installation take?
Most residential spray foam jobs take 1–2 days depending on the size of the area. A standard attic takes 4–8 hours. After spraying, the foam cures within 24 hours, though most contractors recommend waiting 24–72 hours before occupying the space due to off-gassing during the curing process.
Does spray foam insulation need to be replaced?
No — spray foam insulation does not need to be replaced under normal circumstances. Unlike fiberglass insulation which degrades over time, spray foam maintains its R-value and air sealing properties for the life of the building. The only reasons to remove or replace spray foam are water damage, renovation work, or improper original installation.
