Spray Foam Insulation in Virginia Beach, VA

The guys just left my house from insulating my attic. He told me up front that it would be immediately noticeable. I don't know what his definition of immediate is but, it became aparent about halfway through the job. My freaking house is quieter, and, the furnace noise is muffled beyong my comprehension. Oh, my house is warm on a 31 degree day. My recommendation could not be any higher. He's coming back in February to blow insulation in my walls. Fantastic customer experience, just lovely. My family appreciate what he was able to do for us today!!

I had Zhe Industries replace the insulation in my attic and do air sealing. They also pointed out a couple problems, like bathroom fans that weren’t vented correctly, and handled those repairs too. Just being able to go into my attic and not feel like I'm itching has made this all worth it. The crew was professional and respectful, and they explained what they were doing as they went which I appreciated. They’re easy enough to work with and stand behind their work. I had them do my parents’ house first and then mine, and both times the results came out solid. Highly recommend, Brian and his crew know what they're doing.

Just wanted to give a positive review to Morgan Bayse at Fusion Heating/AC. I was in need of an annual inspection for both furnaces and this year called Fusion instead of Kellam. Fusion provided a timely service date and Morgan arrived on time. He performed very thorough inspections, cleaning the units, taking pictures and notes. He did find one potential item which he described a minor. But instead of recommending "replacing the entire unit" (like some companies), he cleaned the part and suggested keeping an eye on it. Morgan is the absolute best HVAC tech, extremely knowledgeable, honest and personable. I highly recommend him for any of your HVAC services. You won't be disappointed.

The Fifth Fuel of VA was recommended to us by our neighbor. They did not disappoint. The crew took care to cover all the surfaces in the living room and moved the plants and items in their path. They did a great job insulating the attic and insulating the access doors. They also insulated the crawlspace under the house. The crew was extremely polite and courteous. They took care to clean up after they finished their work. I would highly recommend them.

I had a great experience having Fifth Fuel insulate an addition and the attic in my home. Josh was very professional, responsive, and helpful. I thought they had reasonable prices for the quality of work provided. I had spray foam, batting, and blown foam installed. The only challenge was the day they booked the work, the installation team said that the truck for the spray foam was having an issue. They had to come back another day to do that work, but they were communicative and helpful to address the issue and reschedule. Overall I would recommend Fifth Fuel and am happy that my home is better insulated. I've already felt the comfort benefits over this cold winter and look forward to the same in the summer.

Atlantic did a great job on my older home which had nearly no insulation in any area. It required attic insulation removal, blow-in insulation, attic door seal, drill & fill in all exterior walls and extensive crawl space and garage work. From quote to work completion, performance was excellent. Every member of the team that came out was well coordinated, informative, thorough, and their experience was clearly evident. They were all considerate of our home and did a great job minimizing any mess naturally created by the work. I could easily and highly recommend them without a doubt!

Great experience with this company. Used them to encapsulate my crawl space. They showed up on Thursday to lay the plastic. Outstanding job. Doubled up where I requested. Laid dimple board under high traffic areas. Got the plastic under my entire sprinkler system, expansion tank, and geothermal lines. Kudos to Oscar and Gabriel for their meticulous work. Showed up on Friday to spray. Left 2" termite inspection gap, sprayed the entire inside of my foundation and the banding spaces. Really great work by Luis and Domingo. On both days Tyler, the assistant manager, was on site to make sure the job got started and completed correctly. Communication throughout was almost overwhelming. Multiple texts to let me know they were on the way and when to expect them. Pricing was the best out of 8 subs I contacted. Tyler and crew gave me the job I would have done if I had done it myself. I had a great experience working with the Drying Company. I live in an old home and the crawl space was constantly wet. After getting over the shock of the going rate to make it dry, I found it very easy to work with the Drying Company. They have great communication and everyone I spoke to at the office was friendly. Charles and Aaron got the work done quickly, even after we had a snag with a pipe. Now my basement is totally dry!

We recently used The Drying Company for an attic insulation project. Great experience from start to finish. No pressure sales visit that included checking our crawlspace. They discovered unattached ductwork, something our HVAC company didn’t think to check when we complained our upstairs wasn’t cooling. Our technician, Bryan, was very professional and considerate. He gave us quality workmanship and did a very thorough cleanup after.

They did a great job and looks very professional. Price was well worth it! Living in this area with water in crawl space every time it rained and crawl space smell and standing water now gone. Had pumps installed and very pleased with this added value to my home. Adding humidifier is great as well to keep levels where they should be.

We used Hometown Remodeling to replace the original siding on our 33 year old home. From our first meeting with Richard through the day Jake and Jacob finished putting up our new siding, we were pleased with the experience. Richard came to our house and talked through the various options available, answering all of our questions without making us feel like we had to decide right away. Patti was always pleasant to talk to when we needed to call the office for information. Jake and Jacob were meticulous with their work and along with Richard, were able to help guide us when we encountered some minor repairs that needed to be done as they took down the old siding. Everyone was very professional, very educated, explained everything to a tee, and even provided pictures. All pictures were even sent to me for my records. The process of getting a new unit (heating and cooling) was so smooth and easy, it was fantastic. They had no issues adding the coupon prices, we're very clear about what I needed for my home, and didn't try to upsell anything like salesmen usually do. When I had questions they had answers, when I asked for extra HEPA filters for severe allergies they were able to provide an addition to the system for minimal cost. The fact that I was not pushed into purchasing a system I did not need was a welcome change and one that made me trust them even more. The install was much smoother than expected, quick, and relatively painless. The whole unit replacement took one day, including bringing the entire unit up to code from the 1980s. Considering the people my home warranty sent just weeks prior, I cannot recommend Miller's enough! If I had known it was going to be this smooth and easy to get things fixed, I would have gone to them first. I talked to various people including contractors in other areas in order to make sure I use somebody reputable and not someone with inflated references, and I can honestly say I will never use anyone else for my heating and cooling system. Miller's has made me and my family lifelong customers! I cannot speak highly enough about all of the individuals that I had the pleasure of interacting with from the first review of my system to the final install. Thank you everyone.

David was very thorough in his inspection of the home. He gave very good feedback on how to handle post care of the home after the treatment of the home. This was very helpful because I never knew how to prevent the pest from coming back after the treatment until his assessment of my home. The price was very reasonably as well which is always a nice bonus. Thank you david!!!

We needed spray on foam insulation to encapsulate our crawl space. Southland came highly recommended by a trusted friend. Southland scheduled us and came out at the specified time and went right to work. The two men were very professional, conscientious, and took care not to damage the yard or landscaping with their long hose around the house. Their equipment is state of the art. When they finished, they cleaned everything up as if they were never there. A couple of weeks later, we noticed a small spot behind some duct work in the cellar that had been missed. We called Southern and they came right back out and took care of in no time. We are extremely happy with their work and now I too can highly recommend them!!!

Southland Insulators / Fifth Fuel encapsulated my large crawl space and they did an outstanding job and their price was great also! The crew was outstanding! They first removed all of the old insulation and other debris in the crawl space. Then they put foam board along the exterior crawl space walls and a heavy liner on the floor sealing any cracks etc. with spray foam. They were very neat. Removing all trash and minimizing any small trash from blowing (it was windy the day they removed the old insulation). I highly recommend this company.

I was a little concerned about using this company based on their reviews but I was pleasantly surprised to have such a good experience using their service! In my opinion they do not deserve these terrible reviews. Zack was my sales person and he could not have been more responsive and helpful. The installors were also very professional and did a very nice job! Our project involved a historical home in Cape Charles that had been gutted. They installed all of the insulation from top to bottom (3 stories). I would not hesitate to recommend this company, they are true professionals in their field.
