I'm extremely satisfied with the spray foam insulation job they did for me. Friendly, fair price, prompt service and a local family business. That's about as good as it gets in my opinion. I had them foam the inside metal walls of a metal building I own. The product did an even better job than I imagined. It's rigid and as a bonus since I had them spray the bottom side of the metal roof, and this is closed cell foam, it's now impossible for the roof to leak, even if in the future the rubber gasket on roofing screws deteriorate. I highly recommend them and would use them again!

They insulated our garage in record time. Professional, efficient, and they even cleaned up after the job was completed. Easy communication with Jocelyn, quick response time, great work in installation. Would highly recommend.

Hired kings of insulation to blow fiberglass insulation in my attic. They offered competitive prices and were able to come quickly. This particular attic space was very low and cramped one of the workers Accidentally crushed a HVAC duct in attic while working. The company offered to pay for full replacement of duct with no issues. Great people to deal with would not hesitate to use them again.

They did a good job. Sharon, Amanda and oscar did complete their job ontime, cleaned up behind them and left the place pristine. They were professional, courteous and honest.

Quick unload, cool place

Virginia Foam did a great job; they were on-time, reasonable price, and they did quality work. They were great at communicating with me; everything from scheduling the free quote visit, to getting the contract, to scheduling the work, to performing the work. They even cleaned up their mess completely before they left the site (can't remember the last contractor that did that). VERY IMPRESSED! My recent experiences with contractors had not been all that good, and the folks at Virginia Foam gave me new hope that there are more great contractors out there.

James came out to provide us a free estimate for crawlspace and attic insulation in the fall of 2019. He was timely, professional, and honest. After the inspection, he was very upfront about costs and not pushy, which was refreshing. We needed a new roof on our house, so we decided to postpone having the insulation installed. Several months after the initial inspection, we finally decided to pull the trigger. James' team came out in a matter of a week or two, despite their busy schedule during the summer 2020 season. Their team removed the old, blown-in insulation from our attic, which was over 50 years old. In a matter of 1.5 days, James' team had successfully completed the job flawlessly, working in tight spaces and around our HVAC system and ducting. I fully expected the price to be higher, with the hotter, busier, season, but it was to the penny of the original estimate. Our home is so much cooler now that we have the attic foam insulation! Thank you to Virginia Foam Insulators for a job well done! Would highly recommend, and we will be using them for all of our insulation needs in the future!

A few years ago I chose to use Virginia Foam for my home that had poor insulation from 35 years ago. What a difference both in utility bills and now I can walk upstairs with no change in temperature and humidity. One of the best investments for energy efficiency and payback on investment. They were professional and prompt. Because of this I contracted again for them to foam insulate a metal garage I have that is like an oven in the hot sun. They completed the job yesterday and what a difference. Also the professional job in the garage was so well done it looks smooth as glass. Great job a second time from Virginia Foam. Other companies may be here today and gone tomorrow but Virginia Foam has been there to help me for many years now. It pays to deal with professionals who are experienced.

Scott and his crew were professional, made very helpful recommendations about how best to add new insulation to our attic, and were a delight to have in our home. I highly recommend them.

I recently worked with Scott Mazza, owner of Efficiency by Design, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Scott returned my call immediately and was able to come out to my home within just two days to provide an estimate—far faster than other companies I contacted, which were quoting 10–14 days just to come out. Even better, Scott does not charge for estimates, unlike several competitors. We initially realized we had a serious problem because our crawl space was creating a horrible smell throughout the house, clearly caused by excess moisture and humidity. We called Adams to add insulation in our knee wall space. They were able to fit us in their schedule very quickly. We (homeowners) had a misunderstanding and Joe got it taken care of with no questions asked. The guys that came out were friendly, quick and efficient. Also, you can’t beat their pricing. The home performance by the four service workers led by Perry was excellent. Professional, cordial, focused and quick. They exceeded expectations when it was discovered that a snafu was in the job order, but they made corrections on the spot and fulfilled the expected work in timely fashion. I highly recommend Koala. I called for an estimate a couple of weeks before Christmas, hoping to get crawlspace insulation, vapor barrier, and blow-in insulation for the walls in my 100-year old house all done before the end of the year. Estimator came out, took a look, sent me an estimate, answered my questions, sent me a contract, and had me scheduled all before lunch. Within a week the workers came out for 2 full days, about an hour away from their nearest location and got the work done. I noticed a minor issue a week later, texted them late that afternoon, and by the time I left for work the next day they were already there solving the problem. Incredibly responsive, great communication, easy online processes, and reasonably priced.

Highly recommend. Fair price well below other quotes. Quick turn around time and efficient crew to complete the work. Would use again. 2" thick walls and ceiling.

I was clearly explained the work that was going to be done to encapsulate my home’s crawl space and all my multiple questions were answered in detail. They show up at the scheduled time and addressed my concerns. I’m very pleased with the work done, their integrity and expertise.

Great experience! I selected them because of the consistently great reviews they had and was not disappointed. The office staff were so nice and the crew that put new insulation in my attic did a wonderful job. They were on time, very professional, and they put down a cloth on the steps leading upstairs and the hallway to keep the area from getting messed up. I would highly recommend them for their great work and their reasonable pricing.

Samson Insulation did my attic and crawlspace. nice crew, showed up on time, walked me through what they were doing. Not the cheapest quote I got, but definitely worth it. House feels tighter and my electric bill’s already dropped.

I got spray foam insulation in Richmond VA for my garage and man… should’ve done it sooner. It used to be like a sauna in there, now it actually stays cool. Install took a few hours and the guys cleaned up everything before they left.

I hired Justin & his crew to clean out mold from our crawl space & encapsulate it with spray foam and a dehumidifier. Overall they did a great job. Got rid of all the mold and did an excellent job overlaying the vapor barrier where needed and sealing up the walls & any openings extremely well with spray foam. The only thing they didn’t do well is install the dehumidifier. It was clear they forgot cinderblocks and it was the last part of the job so they tried to lift it with a foam sheet they had & gravity drain the line outside. Only problem is that didn’t create enough of an angle (shown in the first photo) so when I checked on the crawl space a couple days after the job was done I found the drain line clogged and lots of water on the ground. I’m glad I caught it quick but it required me buying cinderblocks & a condensate pump and installing those myself (shown in the second photo). Annoying they didn’t do the last part well but they did everything else extremely well, which I would argue were the harder parts than buying cinderblocks and a condensate pump. I’d definitely recommend this company for anyone thinking about encapsulating their crawl space.

Magnolia Green. three of us just had a warranty adjustment done on our gutters. when the supervisor came out and looked at the downspout, he told me what the fix would be and they came out the next week and took care of it in less than 30 minutes.. Guys showed up promptly, professionally dressed, quick and courteous... would recommend them anytime.. great job.

Last year we bought a home that was built in the early 1960's, and after our first few energy bills came in, I wanted to reduce my energy costs and improve the air quality in our home for our children. I got several quotes from local contractors that had wide ranging suggestions from minimal work to major construction. Larry, with Commonwealth Foam, was very knowledgeable and informative on what the most likely sources of energy loss were and how to make the biggest impact and get the most improvement for my money. Commonwealth Foam sealed and insulated our crawlspaces and re-insulated our attic at a fraction of the cost of the other contractors. We noticed an immediate improvement and our bills have been reduced. At the current rate, the work that Commonwealth Foam did on our house will completely pay for itself in only a couple of years!!! Amazing! The work crew was very professional, did a complete and thorough job, and left our house without making a huge mess, unlike other contractors in the past. I have been spreading the word to my neighbors. Thank you Commonwealth Foam!

My house was built in the 70's and the insulation was old and needed to be repalced. David came out and gave me a quote, that I was very impressed with. I thought this work would cost 2x the quote. The work crew came on time and were very polite and professional, and did an excellent job working around all the stuff I had in the attic. I look forward to my next heating bill I can tell already the heat pump runs a lot less than before. I am so impreesed with the results of the attic I plan on asking David for a quote of the crawl space.
