Neal came out to our house personally to look at our home after I told him about our insanely high utility bill our first month in our new home. This is our first home we’ve ever owned and there’s a lot we don’t know. Before Neal even looked in my attics he took the time to help me shop different utility companies and go over what my rates and kilowatt usage should look like. Later that day he emailed me a massive list of utility companies so I can start shopping around for a lower rate. He then checked all of my air vents in our whole house and explained to me about return and supply vents and helped us realize we needed to also be calling our HVAC people out for an inspection. After all of this he thoroughly inspected all of our attic spaces (we have three) and was very honest about his plan for them. He almost does exclusively radiant barrier for attics but he said he wouldn’t do it for ours because we lacked soffits. He took time to explain everything (including what a soffit is) and made sure I understood exactly what his plan was for insulation. Less than 24 hours later he emailed a very reasonable quote.
