Spray Foam Insulation in Houston, TX

I got 4 different companies for quotes. The reason I decided to go with Koala Insulation was overall completeness of their inspection, detailed quote and photos. I just felt Koala Insulation was providing the most complete level of service. At time of installation the team from Koala showed up, very professional, informative and friendly. From start to finish they kept surrounding areas clean. Koala Insulation of North from start to finish did everything they communicated verbally and provided within their quote. Great job to the Koala Insulation Team.

Tyler and the whole team were awesome, answering countless questions and explaining the details of the insulation project in a way no other company was willing or able to from several who proposed quotes. The price was more than competitive and the solution never felt oversold or under-engineered the way other companies pushed. Great work, great value, and nice people!

I was referred by an air condition company. I called and got an appt for estimate very timely. Isaac came out and was on time, friendly yet professional and gave me what I felt was a reasonable estimate. I knew I wouldn’t be getting it done until I got my ductwork done first. Isaac let me know that they would honor the estimate when I was able to get it done. They reached out to check on my status and when I told them October that was fine with them. When I got my ducts they were able to get me in within a week. The crew called asking if they could come early. Absolutely. They got here and again friendly yet professional. They came in and got to work. While they were here I was googling how long it would take. They exceeded expectations and got in and out. I asked questions and they were patient with me and answered them clear and concise. (Even my goofy ones) They had a little hand vac to clean up insulation that fell and I appreciate that. There was a misunderstanding on my part on the amount of insulation I was getting so that could have been clearer when I got my estimate, but overall I’d use them again and recommend them. (I’ll admit my fear of heights prevents me from going into attic so what I can see from opening is all i see 🙃)

Shad and his team were excellent. I can’t recommend them enough for your insulation needs. I needed the fiberglass insulation under my house removed and spray foam insulation installed. I called and got several quotes from various companies. First Defense wasn’t the cheapest, but they were upfront and honest with me from the beginning. You WILL get your money’s worth by going with this company. All my questions were answered and I was given several options to choose from. The installation process was quick and everything was clean afterwards. My wife and I are happy to no longer have cold floors or wet insulation under our house.

First Defense Insulation did an awesome job spray foaming my house. The difference it has already made (unfinished house at the moment) in the heat coming through the roof and sound through the walls is incredible! I worked with Shadrick on going through the process, and they were quite patient with my constantly changing schedule. Additionally, if you have old insulation, they will come and vacuum it out. All who came to work on the project were quite friendly, efficient, and thorough on the getting the walls spray foamed. There is an odor after, but it goes away in a couple days with good airflow. All-in-all, if I need to spray foam again, I will be using them, and would recommend the same to everyone else!

Can’t say enough got things about John and his crew. John worked with us to develop the best plan to improve the comfort of our historic home (1887) and was patient and thoughtful when answering our many questions over several months. Then, his crew was professional and efficient. Our project was done in 2 work days. Shout out to our crew lead, William, for keeping us informed on progress and next steps. You won’t regret hiring First Defense.

Robert and Victor came out and did an amazing job incredibly fast, I can already feel the difference. They arrived right on time, used a nice smelling insect and rodent repellent before starting. In 2 hours they finished insulating our attic and cleaning up. Previous homeowners only had 4inches of various insulation types throughout the attic, in some spots zero coverage. They added enough to get us 17" for a good price. Comparing estimates and DIY, Koala is worth it. I would highly recommend. I'm also able to use their service as an energy efficiency tax credit. If I ever need insulation again, I'm going with them.

Professional and knowledgable team! The task at hand was multifaceted and a bit complex; however, everything was thoroughly taken care of. From the initial consultation, Ryan walked me through all of the steps necessary to resolve the insulation problems in my home. Ryan gave us a detailed estimate and we moved forward and had two attics insulated with Koala. We appreciated the attention to detail and cleanliness of the team. Had Jimmy come out and quote me for adding an additional 4" of Insulation throughout and also a Solar Fan. Price was reasonable so Jimmy and colleague came out for the install a week later. They did a great job on both the fan and the insulation. Overall, a very professional service from start to finish. Very pleased.

Jimmy w/Koala was so very pleasant to deal with from first meeting to discuss adding additional insulation to the completion of the job. He and his employee came in and did a great job, installing the insulation and the attic hatch master at the attic stairwell very efficiently, without any issues. They cleaned up any mess they might have made in the process. Very considerate, professional and we would highly recommend Koala.

Jimmy and his team at Koala Insulation came out and did an amazing job of air sealing the light fixtures and topped off our existing blown-in fiberglass insulation to ensure 13" or more everywhere. Very friendly and answered all my questions.

HIGHLY recommend! We needed to add ~20” of new fiber insulation to the attic before summer and this company delivered. Not only was communication fast and clear but they showed up on time, prepped the work area to insure our home was clean and safe while they worked. Incidentally I had some AC work done later in the day and the AC company commented about how thorough the insulation looked. He assumed I must have known them! 10/10 very pleased would highly recommend. Great decision.

I recently had Ultimate Radiant Barrier & Insulation work on my home, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From start to finish, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. It was time for new attic Installation. Royal from All Attic Installation come out and inspected my home's attic. He was very professional, he provided two option. 1. Adding on top of what was already there or 2. A complete removal, sanitizing and sealing any gaps. He did not try to push a sale on my husband and I. After quotes from other companies we selected option 2 from All Attic Installation (because of the age of our home 40 years old) We also purchased an attic door cover. On the day of service, the crew arrived on time. Domingo and his crew got to work. They were very skillful at their job. Around 20+ bag of debris was removed from the attic. Clean-up was preformed as they worked. There was nothing left for my husband and I to do but enjoy the fruits of their labor. The job was completed successfully. We were extremely pleased once the job was done. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for attic installation. I gave a 5* star rating because that’s what was deserved.

Had a great experience with All Attic Insulation, from the initial quote to the crew who did the work. The crew cleaned out 30 year old insulation, disinfected the attic and put in new insulation. They worked as a team, only stopped for a quick lunch break, left everything clean when they were done, and kept me informed of what they were doing...all for a fair price. 2 weeks ago Royal and his team came out and installed insulation in our attic. We had 2 to 4 inches of coverage in most areas. I felt like I was losing heating and cooling in the house. His team blew in 14.5 inches of R38 insulation. They also replaced our attic light bulb since it went out. Coincidentally, my annual checkup for my AC was done yesterday and the serviceman commented on how well the insulation was blown in. It reassured me that I made the right call to have Royal and All Attic Insulation come out and do the work. He was reasonably price and I am looking forward to more comfortable days in the summer and maybe even a lower utility bill.

Met up with Mr Royal last week and he was upfront and honest about my insulation situation. He did not try to upsell me nor hit me with hidden charges. So, it’s like this… I was SO tired of only hot water at the kitchen sink. Before yesterday, the A/C came on at dawn and didn't shut off all day. Now, it’s off and I can’t recall when it ran last! The crew was wonderful. The attic looks great. They also found and repaired a flex hose to an A/C vent that was split like ripe fruit. They cleaned up inside and out and gone by 3:00 the same day. great company and even greater workers. both Tommie and Freddie (brothers) did my insulation on our 1500 sqft home. they were very courteous and professional. i was happy to have them improve my existing insulation as well as insulate a new room i enclosed. i can’t give them enough stars!!

I hired Dr. Foam to replace my fiberglass batt insulation under my house with closed-cell foam. Sammy's crew suited up and began quickly removing all the old insulation and bagging it while Sammy prepared all the foam equipment, compressor, hoses, etc. They protected my work area and shelving, then swept through the underside of the house with Sammy following behind spraying the foam. I had 2" applied, and the application was generously sprayed into place. By late afternoon, the crew had cleaned everything up and Sammy had finished applying the foam. I went through and inspected and found it to be well applied with adequate thickness; filling all seams between joists, beams, and underflooring. The areas around piping were filled correctly and all voids into the upper areas were sealed. Great job!

Dr. Foam removed the blown in insulation in my home on Tuesday, August 27th and then returned the next day to spray the insulation. Sammy's team did a great job at a great price. They were very careful not to damage anything and they did a great job cleaning up. They were very quick and hard working despite an attic well over 110 degrees. Sammy and his dad Rick treat you like family. Highly recommended. Check out the photos below for the finished product and their careful protection of my home.
