Spray Foam Insulation in Pittsburgh, PA

We worked with Insulright on insulating our new home addition and remodeled home. They were beyond fantastic to work with from the time of scheduling through the installation. James worked with us to determine our needs and recommend a strategy and was on top of everything from start to finish. Nate, the foreman, was incredibly professional and thorough. They accommodated our schedule and timeline and could not have been more fantastic during an otherwise stressful renovation! I would 100% use them again and recommend them to all our friends and family.

I had Insulright of North Versailles apply both open and closed cell foam to my home. I had completely gutted the house to the studs so they had access to every inch of the old farmhouse. This company is incredible from front to back. From Joe who came out and gave me a very competitive bid, to John who handled my account, to the work crew (Chris, Alex and the guy who didn’t talk much.....) all incredibly professional and able to adjust to what was appropriate for my house. They were on time every day, cleaned up constantly after themselves and made sure I was satisfied. They should be very proud of the team they have assembled. And the product itself is amazing. My house is tight now with no air gaps and easily heated. I highly recommend them. Do yourself a favor and at least let them give you a bid. You’ll be glad you did.

I should of wrote this review a while ago. Just over a year ago, I had James from Insulright come out and visit for an estimate. We went with them to insulate are entire home from basement, every wall in between, to garage roof. The guys were all friendly and worked hard. And the quality is unmatched! My energy bill is almost cut in half, and it’s very soundproof from noise’s outside. It’s worth every penny we paid. Don’t even think twice verses traditional fiberglass insulation. There’s no comparison. Totally exceeded my expectations. Thank You for the quality service! Ligonier Project.

I would highly recommend Insulwise if you are looking to fix your attic insulation and air flow. We felt the difference on our second floor immediately! No more drafts! Insulwise sealed our attic, fixed our roof ventilation, cleaned areas of mold and blew insulation in. It really was amazing how quickly we felt the difference. The production team of Brian and Justin were great too. Very clean and kept me informed the whole project. Love that they take pictures! Thank you Insulwise. Would definitely use you again.

Packed exterior walls full of treated insulation, insulated basement crawl space, and spray foamed all exterior basement ceiling joists. Two days of work with a three man, then two man, crew. Could've used one more day considering the lack of adequate setup on our part (contact me Insulwise CSR ~ we'll chat). The overall vibe... Courteous sales and installation crew, reasonably-priced, did what they could with the space we have (old house, tight, awkward quarters, who knows what they'd come across), and final product turned out great! It's only day two, and already our furnace is starting to run less and there's a different kind of quiet in the house where previously it felt open and drafty. We still have some post-cleanup and glow up to do. Don't be fooled by the promo videos... this is MESSY! You will need to board or crate your animals. You will need to remove more than you think from your walls if getting exterior blown-in insulation. Even though the team does a pretty amazing job of cleaning up, there's still no getting around the post-project clean up. Be ready to fix up and paint the holes, too. That's an entirely different situation (again, Insulwise, let's chat) Considering my walls and basement are now insulated, are all holding at a consistent temperature, and I can already feel difference, it feels like a worthy trade off. Just had Brian, Justin, and Paul here to put dense-pack insulation in my first floor walls. They did a great job, worked hard, were personable and professional, and communicated through the whole process. My house is 105 years old, and a number of the stud bays had zero insulation. Before they had finished with half of the bays, I could tell a positive difference in temperature and draft. We have mini splits to heat/cool our house, and the last two winters they have struggled to keep up. We've had to use space heaters to supplement, and even then I've come down to the first floor being 55-58 degrees. Now, the temp is rising quickly, and the whole floor feels evenly heated. This is a massive difference from what it was. I'm looking forward to seeing the year-over-year on my electric bill. Beyond that, our house is close to the road, and traffic noise has disappeared. Before selecting Insulwise, I was considering a foam option. After looking into the pros and cons, I chose dense-pack to avoid moisture/shrinkage problems with the type of foam that used in existing walls has. Between Brian, Justin, and Paul's professionalism and the guarantee on the insulation not settling, I am extremely confident that I made the right decision. I'd highly recommend them.

We had 2" sprayed under our slab and then had Steel City come back after we installed PEX and concrete to apply 2" on the wall and 3" on the roof panels. Same crew both times. On time both visits and left the garage cleaner than when they arrived. Kudos to Jackson and Gerald! Extremely satisfied with the end product. Our building contractor and concrete contractor were duly impressed with Steel City's work. We highly recommend Steel City Insulation!

We own an older home and we wanted to utilize our cold spaces under our porch. We were told it would make our entire basement warmer & our kids games & holiday decorations wouldn't smell like mold !! It's been months and they were absolutely correct!! Everything is dry& the space is a great addition to our home! Not to mention they did it in professional manner, no mess to clean up on our end. I truly wish I could give them 10 stars, good evening, my Shawn and his crew came to do insulation and other repairs as part of the weatherization program, they were so respectful and did a amazing job, they treated me just like a paying customer. Were so nice and kind and explained everything they were going to do, in my opinion they went over and beyond, their work was truly immaculate, I will never ever forget Shawn, the nicest people each and everyone of them. The big boss came to check their work and he was sooo sweet,and kind, I have told everyone I know about this company, 10 STARS

Jeff and crew did a great job with our warehouse insulation. The results are night and day. Employees were courteous, and work got done on schedule. Would highly recommend.

This is the second time I have used TrueFoam insulation. They foamed a garage ceiling in a rental, and then in my home. I have found them to be the best reasonably priced after obtaining 3 bids, on both occasions. They do a very good job, and hey leave the job site, very clean when they are done. The workers are very polite and timely. If needed I would use them again.

I can’t believe how quick, efficient and thorough these gentlemen were that came to our house. So polite and cleaned up after themselves great as well. Our home definitely feels more sound proof, tight and we can’t wait to see what difference this makes for our bills. It was the perfect solution for our 1904 home.
