From start to finish 1907 Insulation was an excellent company to work with. The Technicians were very respectful and professional and did an excellent job with spray insulation in our attic. They removed all of the old dusty insulation before placing in the spray foam (see photos). The attic looks awesome. Justin was very accommodating on setting the date we started the work. The project manager, Cread kept us informed every step of the way and we look forward to greatly reduced electric bills. We applaud the work of 1907 Insulation and highly recommend them!!!!

We hired Insulation System of Oklahoma to spray-foam 62,000 sq ft of our plant ceiling. The job was challenging — they covered all machinery and parts, navigated lifts and equipment around tight spaces, and coordinated work around the clock to fit our operational schedule. Their crew did an excellent job and maintained fantastic communication throughout this long project. Highly recommended.

Shoutout to this installation team, especially Karson. While working at a nursing home, he took extra time to help my grandma with genuine kindness and patience, and that meant a lot to our family. Great work, even better people — highly recommend !

We had foam insulation blown in barn. From estimate to completion it was excellent experience. The guys that did it were pros. They cleaned up when finished and based on prior experience with another company they went above and beyond. We couldn’t be more satisfied with results, price and prodessionalism of the guys that put it in. Highly recommend. Will definitely use again.

USA Insulation insulated my garage door, my two garage walls and the attic above the garage, you can already feel the difference! The process only took a couple of hours. The team was very respectful and surpassed my expectations!! I highly recommend them.

Mark Littlefield★★★★★3 months ago

We had our garage insulated on the three sides not insulated and the attic above the garage. We have been in this house for less than a year. It was extremely hot this summer and very cold last winter. So, the guys did a great job and they were professional. Love it!! Already have noticed at least a 10 degree drop in temperature in our garage. I think , for us, it will be well worth money spent... Thanks USA Insulation

Before this company provided services for me I was really skeptical on "spray foam" insulation. I was able to ask the representative from this company many questions that he was able to provide answers for. I'm definitely going to use this company again if ever need be.

So happy with the final result: New deck with considerations for my husband’s mobility challenge. Rob and Mike made sure he was involved in the details. Thank you Daniel for spearheading the project. We look forward to seeing you again to re-stain our fence. Appreciate your good work!

Daniel was great to work with. He replaced our 12 year old cedar fence and replaced six of my neighbors at the same time. I would highly recommend Daniel and his crew. Great work, great pricing, and excellent communication.

Had some closed cell foam sprayed in a cooler we built at our business. We had to reschedule a few times, Thrice was super nice, understanding and helped us reschedule. They did a great job on the foam, and checked to make sure we were happy with the work. We had them come do a few touch ups, that was super quick and easy... Overall great job, would definitely recommend Thrice!

Mike Hicks★★★★★a year ago

Winter 2022/23 We had Thrice Energy come out and bid foaming the roof of about 45000 sq. ft. assisted living facility to create an envelope to keep the water lines that are all in the attic from freezing. That included taking out the existing insulation in the attic. Year after year we have had frozen water lines that busted and caused major problems. The envelope is supposed to even out the temperature in the attic within a few degrees of the living space below. There price was good and there work was great! Very thorough and very good to work with. Doug was the sale person. Chuck was the foreman over our very large job. Can't say enough about these guys and the company. Including all the great guys that did the job. The results were awesome! No frozen water lines and no chance of it even happening. The temp in the attic (after 3 or 4 days of 0-3 degrees) was 65 to 68 degrees. A few degrees cooler than below in the living area. Totally resolved years of water issues. VERY MUCH WORTH IT!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! Thank you! Mike, Maintenance Director St. Katherine Drexel Retirement Center

Thrice has been absolutely amazing to work with. We had them bid our project of 34 homes. Not only did they have the best price, they've been one our best sub-contractors to work with. Keith Wendt has handled everything we've thrown at him and Thrice with ease. I would recommend this company to absolutely everyone. We will most definitely work with them on future projects.

Frequently Asked Questions — Spray Foam Insulation in Oklahoma City

These are the questions Oklahoma City homeowners ask most about spray foam cost, R-value, and open- vs. closed-cell foam — with context for local pricing and roughly 33% typical energy savings. Compare the 10 verified Oklahoma City contractors above for exact quotes.

Is spray foam insulation a good investment in Oklahoma City?
For homes in mixed-humid climates like Oklahoma City, OK, spray foam is typically an excellent investment. The combination of hot summers, cold winters, and significant humidity means your home faces insulation challenges year-round. Spray foam addresses all three — providing thermal insulation in both seasons while controlling moisture infiltration. Most homeowners in OK see payback periods of 4–7 years. As with any tight building envelope, ensure your home has adequate mechanical ventilation to manage interior moisture.
How does humidity affect spray foam insulation performance in Oklahoma City?
In mixed-humid climates like Oklahoma City, OK, moisture management is as important as thermal performance. Closed-cell spray foam acts as a Class II vapor retarder, preventing moisture from infiltrating walls and attics where it causes mold and structural damage. This dual function — insulation plus moisture control — is why spray foam outperforms traditional insulation options in OK's climate. However, because the building envelope becomes tightly sealed, proper mechanical ventilation is strongly recommended to allow interior moisture from daily activities to escape without losing conditioned air.
Is spray foam insulation worth the cost?
For most homeowners, yes. Spray foam creates an air-tight seal that traditional insulation cannot match, reducing energy bills by 15–35% annually. It also adds structural rigidity, acts as a moisture and vapor barrier, reduces outside noise, and can increase home resale value. The higher upfront cost compared to fiberglass is typically recovered within 3–7 years. One important note: because spray foam creates a very tight building envelope, proper mechanical ventilation is important to maintain healthy indoor air quality and prevent interior moisture buildup. This is typically handled by an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) — a system that brings fresh outside air in while pushing stale air out, recovering the energy from the outgoing air so you don't waste what you paid to heat or cool — or a Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV), which works similarly but is optimized for cold climates. A qualified contractor will assess whether your home needs ventilation upgrades as part of the installation.
How much does spray foam insulation cost in Oklahoma City, OK?
In Oklahoma City, OK and the surrounding area, spray foam insulation typically costs $1.00–$3.00 per square foot installed, depending on the type and your home's specifics. Open-cell foam runs $0.44–$0.65 per board foot, while closed-cell foam costs $1.00–$2.00 per board foot. A typical 2,000 sq ft home attic in Oklahoma City costs $2,000–$6,000. Most Oklahoma City homeowners recoup this investment within 3–7 years through energy savings of 15–35% annually.
What is the difference between open-cell and closed-cell spray foam?
Open-cell spray foam is softer, less dense, and less expensive. It expands significantly and is ideal for interior walls, attics, and soundproofing. Closed-cell spray foam is denser, stronger, and provides a moisture barrier — making it better for exterior applications, crawl spaces, and areas prone to flooding or humidity. Closed-cell also has a higher R-value per inch (R-6 to R-7 vs R-3.5 to R-4 for open-cell). One key difference: open-cell foam allows some vapor movement, while closed-cell acts as a vapor barrier — an important consideration for your home's ventilation needs.
How long does spray foam insulation last?
Spray foam insulation is one of the most durable insulation options available, with a lifespan of 80+ years when properly installed. Unlike fiberglass batting which can sag and settle over time, spray foam maintains its shape and insulating properties indefinitely. It will typically outlast the building it is installed in.
How do I find a qualified spray foam insulation contractor in Oklahoma City, OK?
When searching for a spray foam contractor in Oklahoma City, OK, look for ones who are licensed, insured, and have verifiable reviews. Spray foam requires specialized equipment and training — improper installation can cause off-gassing, adhesion failure, or fire hazards. Ask for references, verify their insurance, and get at least 2–3 quotes. A qualified Oklahoma City contractor will also assess your home's ventilation needs — a tightly sealed spray foam installation requires adequate mechanical ventilation to prevent moisture and indoor air quality issues. FoamMatch pre-screens all listed contractors in Oklahoma City for licensing and insurance so you can compare verified professionals in your area.
How long does spray foam installation take?
Most residential spray foam jobs take 1–2 days depending on the size of the area. A standard attic takes 4–8 hours. After spraying, the foam cures within 24 hours, though most contractors recommend waiting 24–72 hours before occupying the space due to off-gassing during the curing process.
Does spray foam insulation need to be replaced?
No — spray foam insulation does not need to be replaced under normal circumstances. Unlike fiberglass insulation which degrades over time, spray foam maintains its R-value and air sealing properties for the life of the building. The only reasons to remove or replace spray foam are water damage, renovation work, or improper original installation.
