Spray Foam Insulation in Albuquerque, NM

These guys are as good as it gets!!! I’ve been building a house starting with raw land and in 3 years of work I have never had a contractor come close to the skill, communication, promptness or fair pricing as David and his team. I had them spray foam a large metal building to create a “barndominium” and the level of effort and detail they put into masking and keeping everything clean was nothing short of amazing. The quality of the spray work itself is the best I’ve ever seen, it almost looked like a plaster finish it was so even and uniform. I have since found out they do fiberglass batt insulation as well and the quote David gave me is an extremely competitive price. The only thing I could think would be better is if David did other contracting services so the rest of my project could go this well!

David has been great to work with. He’s very easy to communicate with through a phone call or text. He and his crew showed up on time and got right to work. The guys did a perfect job insulating our new build shed/shop and were even kind enough to let me watch the process and ask all the questions. Can’t say enough good things about these folks. I’m already thinking I’ll have them back to work their magic on beefing up the insulation in our older home.

Highly recommended! We had Valencia insulation apply spray foam to our shop and install insulation to our house that was built in the 70s. Our house in the midst of winter wouldn't get above 63 degrees. Now we're warm and hold in the heat. Their exemplary service and timing are top-notch! Our electric bill went down over $100 because of the insulation.

Very happy with Koala insultion. Easy to schedule. Estimator was prompt, friendly and did a good job problem solving and discussing our options. Our house is old with a flat roof and was difficult for the team to access, but they got it done quickly and without making a mess. They also helped file the rebate paperwork. Overally we are very pleased with the insulation and the experience with Koala.

Great experience all around! In May, I converted from evaporative cooling to refrigerated air. Downstairs felt great, but upstairs was very disappointing as it didn't feel much better than my evaporative cooler. After a variety of tweaks that really didn't put a dent in it, I felt like this was my last chance. Koala was the only one of the three insulation companies I contacted that would even show up given no access into my attic. Mark answered my questions, provided options, and estimates. I was able to get a rough price estimate over the phone from another company and it proved Koala's pricing was fair. Aside from the local office having great ratings, I glanced at reviews for about 20 other Koala offices in surrounding states and could see Koala is very reputable in the southwest. Mark indicated the price would be adjusted based on the actual work done, which he did decrease the price by several hundred dollars as there was already more insulation in the attic than expected. Mark was willing to answer my follow up questions and do extras in my attic if feasible, which was amazing customer service considering the competition wouldn't step foot on site until the attic was already accessible. I had an attic access created, fiberglass insulation blown in, and an attic fan installed in early August during a sunny 100 degree heat wave. The attached image shows my house well above its set point of 72 degrees every afternoon into the night, until the day these improvements were made. My upstairs now maintains its set point of 72 even on a sunny 100 degree day! Thank you Mark and the rest of the Koala team!

He provided a written quote the same day, and due to my tight schedule of leaving town, he was able to move a crew from another job and get my job done within 2 days. There was a small issue in April 2025 and they took care of it right away, and made everything whole. They made us their top priority, courteous and professional. I can't express just how much I would recommend A+ Sustainable Roofing. I had to repair my spray foam roof and I needed it to be fixed ASAP, as my ceiling was leaking badly. I didn't know who to call since the company that spray foamed my roof went out of business. I started to look online and got a strong pull to call A+. So I decided to call and both Dave and Joseph were so attentive and responsive to my needs. Next thing I know, they came out the day I called them and explained in detail what needed to be done. We scheduled the repair and within days my roof was fixed! We had our usual monsoon rains since...and no leaks!! The entire experience was the best decision EVER! Communication was phenomenal at every phase of the repair. Joseph, Dave, Rome, Daniel, and the entire crew were AMAZING! So knowledgeable, courteous and professional. They do only commercial buildings, but they give you a reference to a very good insulation contractor for doing residential buildings.

All Star Foam has been creating faux vigas, beams, and architectual accents for my house remodeling projects for many years. They are always very helpful and professional and always come through for me!

Excellent Service!!! Extremely Helpful!!! We were from out of state and had a large (somewhat intimidating) project in Albuquerque. I contacted David from All Star Foam and explained the scope of our work to see if they could help. After discussing the project with him it was like a burden had been lifted off my shoulders. Throughout the project measurements changed several times and there were add ons and last minuet changes. No big deal for David, he came through 110% every time. I cant say enough how much of a help he was! An Exceptional Guy!

I ordered some some custom Styrofoam for a roof job. It was a pleasant experience from beginning to end. It was delivered on time and worked perfectly. Alma was amazing. I'll definitely be going back.

I connected with Joey A. with Miller's Insulation by chance approximately 1 1/2 years prior while seeking a solution for repairing some torn insulation on a commercial building. Joey was straight-forward and honest regarding the repairs and offered cost-effective solutions. Fast forward to Fall 2024, I needed insulation for a residential project in ABQ. I received quotes from two other local insulation companies for spray foam and blown-in insulation options. Quotes from the other companies came in high, and I felt pressured and rushed to sign a contract, so I reached back out to Joey (who typically only does commercial). Joey made the effort to come by and take a look at my project. Joey was again patient, knowledgeable, and gave me pros/cons and understandable explanations for choices between foam, cellulose, and fiberglass insulation options. I ended up going with blow-in fiberglass in the attic and batts in the crawlspace. Technicians Oscar and Victor did a phenomenal work, as it was it a tough project. They lined the rafters, covered the non-IC electrical boxes in the attic, and stuffed ever crevice in the crawlspace. The results were phenomenal and immediately noticeable! I have other homes in the area that need updated insulation, so I will be calling Miller's again. Thanks again, Joey!

Nothing but great things to say about Millers insulation team. Luis handled my questions and bid for job, he also came by weeks after completion to make sure my wife and I were satisfied. Instillation was very professional and efficient, would highly recommend Millers to anyone without hesitation!

Millers Insulation initially performed a blown-in fiberglass insulation job at our residence in Albuquerque in 2011. A recent inspection in july 2022 determined that the cavity was found to be only partially filled. I contacted Miller’s Insulation to discuss options to complete this work given the current condition of our house. Estimator Paul Schultz immediately responded, came out to the house to look at the job and concluded that more work needed to be done by Miller’s. A few days later Miller’s techs showed up and filled in the remaining cavity as best they could given the vy the limited access to the cavity space that was now available. These folks were very professional and easy to deal with. There was never any mention of an additional charge to do the work, and they recognized that an inadequate job and been done in 2011. This is a quality local company that has been around since 1985 for good reason. I would highly recommend them for the insulation job you may need, based on my experience. They truly stand behind their work even after 11 years!

It was time to upgrade my RV mattress and I found Rio Grand Foam Inc. Floyd, the owner, took the time to explain my options and even let me lie down on the one that he recommended! He also let me take the extra foam with me so I could decide if I wanted to use it for another cushion. I came back the next day, and Floyd not only sliced out my second cushion but cut another piece for a pillow! Outstanding customer service!!! Thank you!!!

I went to Rio Grande Foam to buy some foam to fix my motorcycle seat. After talking with Floyd for a little while (it is a weird shaped seat) his advice was to go to an upholstery store to get it done correctly. I really appreciated his honesty and willingness to send me elsewhere to ensure that I did not mess the seat up trying to do it myself. He may not have made a sale that day, but he made a customer and I will be back and will send people there knowing he will take good care of them.

We recently learned about spray foam; it is an interesting product with many applications. In conversations with Ex-E1 Sustainable Building Systems, LLC, we discovered we had a need for which spray foam was the perfect solution. We had replaced two heating/cooling units on the roof of our home. Because of the height of the new units, we positioned them away from the existing openings for air return. We didn’t want to negatively impact the visual elements of our adobe home. However, due to the length of the new ducts, we were losing heat. Ex-E1 Sustainable Building Systems applied a layer of spray foam to the exterior of the roof ducts. Immediately, there was an improvement in our ability to heat and maintain an even temperature and also an unexpected outcome. Because the spray foam dampens the resonant sound of air movement in the ducts, the heating/cooling system is much quieter. The Ex-E1 team was efficient and respectful. The application was neat and clean. We are very pleased with the outcome. In further conversations with Ex-E1, we learned spray foam can be used inside walls in new construction and also for roof and stucco repairs.

Big hunch that New Millennium (formerly Exel Foam) has rebranded themselves for another swing. Very interesting!
