Tim was very thorough! He helped us feel comfortable and confident that we would get a quality spray foam job done. So far we have done our attic and above our garage. The temperature has been controlled and it feels so much cleaner we can store things in there without having to worry so much about mold and humidity! Excellent service from Tim and Vicki!

Mr. Johnson and his son Brad and the entire work crew worked tirelessly to complete our job in a timely manner. The goal was to rid our crawl space of black mold and then apply foam insulation and a water seal so our home would have a healthier environment and we would be well insulated for winter! While doing the job they found other structural issues that needed to be addressed. The Johnson's wanted to make sure all important things were fixed and in order before completing the job. They were very thorough and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend them for your next home improvement project!

Thermal Guard did an amazing job on our attic spray foam encapsulation. Our attic is split into several sections, but they handled the complexity without any issues and sprayed 8 inches of open cell over every inch. The difference was immediate! Our attic feels comfortable, and the HVAC barely runs now. Do you want to know what makes them stand apart? Attention to detail. We had our basement done a few years ago by another company and it was nothing but problems. Thermal Guard is on a different level. Highly recommend if you want quality work and no shortcuts.

Insulation Shout Out. (November 2025) I appreciate the excellent work done by Weatherization Plus (Versailles, KY) in adding insulation to my attic. The two-man installation team (Ian & Kagan) arrived on time, set up quickly, and got to work. They were respectful of our home and took time to set up their hoses in a manner to cause the least amount of mess inside our house. After completing the work, the crew picked up and left everything as it was before they arrived. For my attic, I requested 12 inches of cellulose over top of my existing insulation to reach a rating of “R-60”. Owner Brian Padget calculated the amount of insulation required as part of his quote (taking measurements and inspecting the existing insulation and determining what prep was needed to tighten up the air slow in the attic prior to installation). The installation went quickly (just a few hours) and the finished result looks like a smooth blanket of gray snow filling the entire attic. I’ll update this post in the spring once I see how our investment affected our winter heating bill. Mr. Padget is very knowledgeable regarding all types of insulation and he can help with any attic prep work needed prior to adding the blown-in insulation. It was a pleasure discussing my project with him and hearing his suggestions. I priced out doing this job as a DIY project but in the end decided that Weatherization Plus’s quote was reasonable and using them saved me from dealing with the mess of installing cellulose insulation myself. I strongly recommend calling Brian if you are looking to make your home warmer this winter.

It is hard to get excited about a “new attic” but I am thrilled. I had a real problem with poor insulation, insulation in contact with light fixtures in violation of code that could have caused a fire, leaking flex ducts, and multiple air penetration points. Brian Padgett and his crew at Weatherization Plus extracted all insulation, installed baffles, sealed all duct work, air sealed the floor of attic at all wall top plates, light fixtures, electrical and plumbing penetration points. Once that was done I took a week to build elevated walkways before having them come back to install 12 inches of blown in cellulose insulation to reach R-40. Thank you Brian Padgett, Austin Gill, Ryan Crump, and the rest of the Weatherization Plus team for the excellent job you did in my attic. I could immediately tell the difference. What was an uncomfortable and hard to cool second story, is now a much more comfortable living space. Thank you Weatherization Plus! Update: After all the beautiful work done by Brian Padgett and his crew a couple of weeks ago to seal and insulate my attic, I discovered a major problem with my HVAC and had the entire system replaced. This necessitated an insulation “touchup” following instillation of the new HVAC system. I contacted Brian to see when he could work me in. Robby Owens and Eric Young were there bright and early the next morning and had a new layer of freshly blown insulation blown in within an hour. Just in time for the carpet layers to start laying carpet. I am thoroughly impressed with Brian’s timely response to my request and the great work done by Robby and Eric. Five stars are not enough for Brian Padgett and the team at Weatherization Plus in Versailles. Thank you for outstanding service and quality work.

I had Weatherization+ come out to blow some insulation into my attics and install some insulating board along the knee walls, which share a wall with a guest bedroom and my recording space where I work. The problem I had was that the attic would heat up when the sun hit the roof, the air would get warm and then travel between the attics via an airway beneath the floor. This meant I was being roasted from all sides— the floor and walls would grow quite warm and radiate heat into the living space. Brian came out to appraise the situation, and we set up an appointment to fix the issues. The guys came out and worked hard all day. The very next day I could feel the difference. Not only that, I have a digital thermometer in the room which logs temperature data. I’ve included a graph where you can see that some days it was pushing 90 degrees up there before the new insulation, but after the install, the peaks and troughs are much smaller. This means that there is less variation in the temps— it’s not getting nearly as hot and it tends to keep cooler longer. Now we hit in the neighborhood of 82 or 84 up there—on sunny days, which sounds hot but just feels warmish. It’s a major positive difference. Insulation is the kind of expense that pays dividends both in lowering your AC bill and also improving how you enjoy your home. If you’re reading this and wondering if it’s worth the trouble— it doesn’t cost anything to get a quote, and everyone who worked on my project was knowledgeable and thoughtful— they took great care to protect my carpet and flooring from damage and bits of insulation. It’s worth a look— give em a call!

They drove 2.5 hours for a small job and did it well. I received small-cell spray foam for two exterior bedroom walls. They did the job on time and on price, and the folks were very personable. They even scraped the excess foam from the studs to facilitate drywall installation. I will use them again!

Had Thermapro do insulation for my new construction home and they did an amazing job. They communicated through the entire process and did both blown in and spray foam insulation for me. They were very thorough and made sure to not spray my electrical boxes for my can lights in the ceiling and cleaned up all loose insulation that didn’t stay exactly put where it was intended. They were super fast and got the house done in 3 full days, albeit not in a row since they had to coordinate with the dry wallers. My house feels so comfortable now that they have insulated it I didn’t even have a heater installed when the weather was below freezing outside and it never got below 61degrees in the house. Highly recommended - they are worth every penny.

I had a great experience with Synergy Home! From my first phone call thru the completion of replacing my HVAC system. Brandon, Kimberly and Davis all were personable, Knowledgeable, professional and thorough. They answered my questions and pointed out things I hadn’t noticed. The price was reasonable and they came two days after I accepted the estimate to install the system. They would have came the next day, but I wasn’t available. Great company, people and GREAT job!

I was without air-conditioning for a week during one of the hottest weeks of the year. I called my friend who works at synergy home. He came out right away for me On Monday and assessed the situation. Determined that I needed A new AC compressor and coil. The owner of the company ended up coming out and helping with the estimate and checking my system over. Such a nice guy and really cares about his clients. This was on Monday. By Wednesday, they had me up and and running. To say they went above and beyond would be an understatement. My house is almost 30 years old. The blown in insulation had settled a lot. Central Ky Spray Foam removed all the old insulation and put spray foam on the rafters in the attic. We have had some cold nights since, and my whole house is warmer, with my heat pumps running less. What little mess that was made, they cleaned up. Very happy with the contractor and the job that was done. I would recommend them, and the spray foam insulation!!

Ten stars! We hired James Hinkle and his crew to encapsulate our overly moist crawl space (new vapor barrier and spray foam throughout). They scheduled us in ASAP and did an absolutely fantastic job. After finding so many corners that had been cut, in this home that we just purchased, we are beyond relieved to find people who do the job right the first time. We will be recommending them to all of our friends and neighbors who need insulation work done!

I am a repeat customer of KY Spray Foam Insulation. They added spray foam to a 50 year old addition that we never could keep as warm as the rest of the house. Worked like a charm. Unlike most contractors, they showed up when they said they would, finished on time and left no trace of being there. Excellent service! Could not recommend them enough.

We had our home attic insulation increased today with blow-in fiberglass from Quality Insulation. Our experience couldn't have been better, the team came and introduced themselves, begin to lay floor protecting plastic throughout to area where they would be moving about and worked continuously until the installation was complete. I inspected the job in the attic and it looked as I had hoped. When they removed the floor plastic the left over debris would have fit in child's teacup. Yes I would recommend them to family and friends. Thanks
