Spray Foam Insulation in Round Lake Beach, IL

We had an all around great experience with Northern Insulation. We had a catwalk installed, complete removal of our old insulation and then fresh put in. The team air sealed the attic and accommodated a few additional requests from us as well. Ryne was very patient and took time to answer all of our many questions. The whole team was very communicative and they did a great job showing up on time, sealing off the house to prevent irritants from escaping the attic and cleaning up. This type of service is extremely rare! Would highly recommend.

They are one of the best you can find. These guys will save you money on your utility bills. Mine went down dramatically and my house is so much more comfortable now even in the summer it stays cooler. Thanks.

I used Sereno’s Insulation to install a vapor barrier in my crawlspace and insulate my foundation walls and sill boxes with closed cell foam insulation. The crawlspace was tight with multiple supports to contend with. The team completed the job without issue. I am extremely happy with the work completed and would recommend them to anyone looking to have closed cell foam insulation installed.

They showed up on time cleaned up and did what they asked in two days. Also, the inspector who came to look at it, complemented their work.

- insulation of my attic was done on 2/11/2022. I paid on the same day. - on 2/12/2022, I informed the company that the lights in the attic is not working - after multiple calls with different people, I learned that the electrical wire was disconnected before covering by the spray foam. The issue is that there are electrical conduit pipes but no exposed wires and the section where the box is sitting that's disconnected is on the inside wall and not roof. I was told that the inside wall won't be sprayed. And I was home the entire time as I requested a call when they were ready to spray to take pictures before they started the work. So they could have informed me when they decided to spray the inside the wall and before disconnecting any wires. - as of 3/7/2022, I'm told the guy will come back and reconnect the electrical line but it hasn't been resolved yet. I have no ETA on when it'll be done. Issue is that I still didn't get clear explanation as to why it was disconnected in the first place since the covered electrical box has 2 electrical conduit pipes and one is still working while the other is disconnected. What I conclude is that if there's an issue or after service is needed, office people will be nice on the phone but won't be able to give any real update as the decision is made by the owner only. So while they'll be nice on the call and promise to call you back, they can't resolve any issue or provide a real solution. To be fair to the work they've done, here are what went right. - they arrived on agreed time and workers were courteous. - they covered everything including floor and cleaned up after the work was done. - based on what I see, the spray work is done well. As of 3/16/2022, I haven't heard back from Sereno's insulation at all. Will update this posting once I hear back from them or have my issue addressed.
