I’ve been working with Bronco Insulation for about a year now, and these guys are the real deal. Every job they do is clean, organized, and done right. You can tell they take pride in their work just by looking at the quality of their installs. Ben and Trevor are the main guys making it happen, and I can’t recommend them enough. If you need insulation work done the right way and on time, get ahold of them ,you won’t be disappointed.

I met Ben at the Nampa home show, we setup a date/time for a quote to install insulation above my garage (Seems to be a common issue here in the valley). We agreed upon a price which was very reasonable. Ben and his team showed up on time and was very professional! I'm extremely impressed by how transparent Ben was with the process and explaining all the details involved with garage/attic insulation. Thank you and 5 stars!

Rodney Morse★★★★★4 months ago

They came out to do a quote to do insulation in my attic above my garages. Ben was very knowledgeable and appreciative for my needs. They came out and did the work three days later. My garage is now 10-15 degrees cooler and now in enjoyable even in the heat of the day. Thanks Bronco Insulation Company. Highly recommend!!! Will explain the process, what to expect and then will show you what they did. Great job guys!!!

Once we met with 3E, it was a no-brainer to have them work on our home. We needed additional insulation in the attic, along with new baffles to improve airflow. Craig listened to our concerns, provided detailed insights into his findings, and offered clear, easy-to-understand explanations for the work that needed to be done. He and his team were respectful, professional, and thorough. We knew we were in good hands and highly recommend their services.

Teresa Thonney★★★★★2 months ago

Craig came to my home to check the insulation above my master bedroom, a room that gets uncomfortably warm in the summer and cold in the winter compared to the rest of the house. He determined I did not need additional insulation and instead recommended two other potential solutions to the problem. Craig didn’t try to sell me something I don’t need and didn’t charge me anything for the visit! Definitely recommend!

Kevin M★★★★★a month ago

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Craig, the owner of 3E Insulation, as a supplier of insulation materials, and I can confidently say he is one of the most professional and reliable contractors in the business. Craig consistently demonstrates an impressive level of timeliness and transparency — two qualities that are invaluable in this industry. From day one, communication with Craig has been clear, direct, and efficient. He doesn’t cut corners and is always upfront about what he needs, which makes working with him a seamless process. His attention to detail is second to none, and it’s obvious he takes pride in every project he’s involved in. Craig not only brings a deep knowledge of the insulation trade, but he also offers a level of customer service that truly sets him apart. If you’re looking for someone who knows his craft, communicates honestly, and delivers with precision and professionalism, Craig at 3E Insulation is the person to call. Highly recommended!

Roger was wonderful. Excellent job on our spray foam insulation. Great attention to detail. We have a decorative beam running through our home that I forgot to mention. Before I remember, Poly Seal was calling me to see if it gets sprayed or not. They taped off everything before spraying. They cleaned up afterwards. I'm very grateful for all the help. They are the best!

Are there more stars I can give? These guys did a great job with our spray foam insulation. I kept asking for more areas and tougher places to work in. Not only that but our job site wasn’t ideal. They had to do a lot of work moving and covering things for us. They went above and beyond for us. We also kept moving around the timeline. I’d say we were a nightmare customer but they stuck with us and did great work. Pricing was reasonable as well. Thanks guys!

Thank you Kyle Perkins for exceptional customer service. Not only did he help us find the right product for our application but he also find us the most cost effective product without sending us to the cleaners. Poly insulation is the way of the future!

Was planning on insulating our new build myself until a friend recommended Acme. Couldn't be happier - got the 500sq ft mother in law unit insulated in 3 hours, did a great job at a very fair price.

DL Nikodym★★★★★5 months ago

After a hearty recommendation from a neighbor, I had Acme out for an estimate to update my new home's insulation, insulate the attached garage and advise regarding second story summer heat issues. Come to find out I had some complications/accommodations in the attic secondary to zero lot line fire code. Mark spent quite a bit of time exploring the house/attic layouts and ventilation. He devised a plan to address my heat issues, promptly sent out his wonderful crew to install and followed up with me regarding my satisfaction. I found the process logical, efficient and tidy. I am looking forward to observing the impact on second story summer heat and will add to this review at that time. Meantime, first winter has been cozy with very reasonable heating bills. Many thanks to Acme for a very pleasant experience. UPDATE: New insulation in house and garage has had a significantly positive effect on both first and second story summer heat reduction. Very pleased!

They were very timely in coordinating with all of my other contractors to ensure that my whole job gets done efficiently. Thanks for the hard work Mark!

IMO, adding insulation to the attic space is the best value for maintaining a comfortable temperature year-round. I hired iFOAM to add 8 inches of blow-in insulation, raising the R-value from R38 to R60. The two-man team was professional, addressed all of my concerns, and did a decent job of cleaning up after the install. Plus, the price was reasonable after calling in four other insulation companies for quotes.

I recently hired iDAFOAM for a spray foam sound barrier project, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the results! From the initial consultation to the final application, their team was professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the benefits of spray foam and answered all of my questions. The installation was quick, clean, and thorough. Since having the foam installed, I’ve noticed a significant improvement. The crew was friendly and respectful of my space, ensuring everything was left neat and tidy. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality spray foam service. Five stars all the way!

We did 2 inches of closed cell spray foam insulation for our garage attic and bonus room and what a huge difference it has made. If you are a home owner this is a must have upgrade. FYI: CBH & Hubble do not insulate their garages. I can say for certain Zach and his team are the best in Ada/Canyon County. Give Zach a call to schedule, you will not regret it.

I recently had my attic insulated by iDA Foam and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They came to assess the project and once we had a plan in place, they executed it flawlessly. The team was prompt, professional, and explained the entire process clearly. My home is noticeably more comfortable, and I’m already seeing improvements in energy efficiency. I hired Ben and his crew at Energy Pro Solutions and they did a great job with spray foam. They also addressed all my concerns and were very thorough. Great business. They were fast, honest, and more than fair!

Jeremiah Boenisch★★★★★2 years ago

I am a small time builder in McCall Idaho. I used Energy Pro Solutions after researching this company and the benefits of closed cell spray foam insulation. The home I just completed was for me and I can tell you first hand this type of insulation is a huge difference maker. My house is solid, quiet and extremely well insulated. We love it. It stays 72° no matter what the weather is outside. When I turned the heat on from 47 degrees one day (when I left all the windows open overnight) it only took four to five minutes to bring it up to 72! Nuts. Ben and his crew were friendly, professional and responsive. Ben always got back with me and ensured the final product was completed to standards. Thanks.

Our brand-new home built by Toll Brothers had a construction defect that allowed mice to access the crawl space. As a result, we had to remove all the insulation, HVAC ducts, and the vapor barrier from underneath the house. We then converted the crawl space into a conditioned crawl space, which required installing a new vapor barrier and applying spray foam insulation to the exterior-facing crawl space walls to insulate and seal all existing vents. To make matters more challenging, all of this occurred during the Christmas holiday and in very cold temperatures. I coordinated directly with Brandon, who was outstanding to work with throughout the entire process. The company’s pricing was very fair, they were extremely accommodating with our schedule during such a hectic time of year, and the quality of their work was excellent. Every employee I interacted with was polite, knowledgeable, and incredibly informative. This is definitely a company I would use again and confidently recommend to friends and family. Thank you, Marv’s, for a job well done.

I used Partners Insulation to insulate my garage attic, and let me tell you, it was great experience from start to finish! Victor with sales was timely, and accommodating, in helping set up an appointment...not to mention, I received a quote same day. On the day of installation, Abraham and team showed up on time and got right to work. After they finished, he explained everything that was done...and before they left, they cleaned up after themselves. If you have any insulation needs, I would highly recommend using them 👍

Frequently Asked Questions — Spray Foam Insulation in Boise

Why is spray foam insulation especially important in cold climates like Boise?
In cold climates like Boise, ID, proper insulation is critical to preventing heat loss, ice dams, and frozen pipes. Spray foam's air-sealing properties stop the cold air infiltration that traditional insulation cannot address. It also prevents the moisture buildup inside walls that leads to mold in cold-weather freeze-thaw cycles. Homeowners in ID typically save 25–35% on heating costs. Note: in tightly sealed homes, proper mechanical ventilation is commonly recommended to maintain fresh air exchange without losing the heat you've paid for.
Does spray foam insulation prevent ice dams in Boise?
Yes — spray foam insulation is one of the most effective solutions for preventing ice dams in cold climates like Boise, ID. Ice dams form when heat escapes through a poorly insulated attic, melting snow that refreezes at the eaves. By creating an air-tight thermal barrier in the attic, spray foam eliminates the heat loss that causes ice dams in the first place.
What R-value do I need for spray foam insulation in Boise?
For cold climates like Boise, ID, the Department of Energy recommends attic insulation of R-49 to R-60. Closed-cell spray foam provides R-6 to R-7 per inch, meaning 8–10 inches achieves code-minimum performance. Open-cell foam at R-3.5 per inch requires greater thickness. A local contractor familiar with ID building codes can recommend the exact specification for your home.
Is spray foam insulation worth the cost?
For most homeowners, yes. Spray foam creates an air-tight seal that traditional insulation cannot match, reducing energy bills by 15–35% annually. It also adds structural rigidity, acts as a moisture and vapor barrier, reduces outside noise, and can increase home resale value. The higher upfront cost compared to fiberglass is typically recovered within 3–7 years. One important note: because spray foam creates a very tight building envelope, proper mechanical ventilation is important to maintain healthy indoor air quality and prevent interior moisture buildup. This is typically handled by an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) — a system that brings fresh outside air in while pushing stale air out, recovering the energy from the outgoing air so you don't waste what you paid to heat or cool — or a Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV), which works similarly but is optimized for cold climates. A qualified contractor will assess whether your home needs ventilation upgrades as part of the installation.
How much does spray foam insulation cost?
Spray foam insulation typically costs $1.00–$3.00 per square foot installed, depending on the type and your location. Open-cell foam runs $0.44–$0.65 per board foot, while closed-cell foam costs $1.00–$2.00 per board foot. A typical 2,000 sq ft home attic costs $2,000–$6,000. Most homeowners recoup this investment within 3–7 years through energy savings of 15–35% annually.
What is the difference between open-cell and closed-cell spray foam?
Open-cell spray foam is softer, less dense, and less expensive. It expands significantly and is ideal for interior walls, attics, and soundproofing. Closed-cell spray foam is denser, stronger, and provides a moisture barrier — making it better for exterior applications, crawl spaces, and areas prone to flooding or humidity. Closed-cell also has a higher R-value per inch (R-6 to R-7 vs R-3.5 to R-4 for open-cell). One key difference: open-cell foam allows some vapor movement, while closed-cell acts as a vapor barrier — an important consideration for your home's ventilation needs.
How long does spray foam insulation last?
Spray foam insulation is one of the most durable insulation options available, with a lifespan of 80+ years when properly installed. Unlike fiberglass batting which can sag and settle over time, spray foam maintains its shape and insulating properties indefinitely. It will typically outlast the building it is installed in.
How do I find a qualified spray foam insulation contractor?
Look for contractors who are licensed, insured, and have verifiable reviews. Spray foam requires specialized equipment and training — improper installation can cause off-gassing, adhesion failure, or fire hazards. Ask for references, verify their insurance, and get at least 2–3 quotes. A qualified contractor will also assess your home's ventilation needs — a tightly sealed spray foam installation requires adequate mechanical ventilation to prevent moisture and indoor air quality issues. FoamMatch pre-screens all listed contractors for licensing and insurance so you can compare verified professionals in your area.
How long does spray foam installation take?
Most residential spray foam jobs take 1–2 days depending on the size of the area. A standard attic takes 4–8 hours. After spraying, the foam cures within 24 hours, though most contractors recommend waiting 24–72 hours before occupying the space due to off-gassing during the curing process.
Does spray foam insulation need to be replaced?
No — spray foam insulation does not need to be replaced under normal circumstances. Unlike fiberglass insulation which degrades over time, spray foam maintains its R-value and air sealing properties for the life of the building. The only reasons to remove or replace spray foam are water damage, renovation work, or improper original installation.
