Spray Foam Insulation in Colorado Springs, CO

I'm a property manager in COS. I manage a large portfolio of rental homes. I was referred to this business through searching posts on a local FB group and there were lots of comments suggesting Tumbarello Insulation as a great option for us to consider. I had received a bid from another reputable contractor prior to receiving Tumbarello's that was higher than I anticipated and decided to get a couple more quotes. I had scheduled for two additional quotes with Tumbarello and another reputable company that was suggested to me. Tumbarello was the cheapest of the three. They also had excellent service from the first call to the installation of the insulation I needed for the home. The work that was scheduled was some repairs on the top insulation as well as new insulation on the bottom for the basement.

Getting my metal building spray insulated with Tumbarello was one of the best and easiest decisions I've made. They came out the very next day after I called them and gave me a quote that beat the other 3 I received days and up to a week later. Bobby sprayed my shop and was so meticulous about the plastic and tape that I knew it was going to be clean when they finished. 2 days of spraying and every time I checked in with them they went over what they were doing and why and asked if I had any questions. No reason to keep looking around, these guys are the best!

If you're reading Spray Foam Insulation reviews, you're probably searching for someone to complete your job - calling around, getting bids... Lemme save you some time/work! Of all the contractors I called, Robert was the only one who promptly returned my call (with intelligent follow-up questions), came to the project site to give a (reasonable) bid, and showed up to complete the job when he said he would. What more could you ask for?? I'm extremely pleased with the results - minus 10 last night and the shop didn't drop below freezing (no other heat source). I'd highly recommend Air Barrier for your project, Robert and his company are truly professionals in their industry.

There are 3 reasons I choose a company with whom to do business: 1. Honesty. Do they treat me the way they would want to be treated? 2. Expertise - do they know what they are talking about and have the experience to do what they say they are going to do. 3. Do they follow up? Do they return phone calls, texts and emails? Robert, the owner, checked all 3 boxes. He did not oversell or over promise what he could do. We have a 130 year- old cabin that because of it’s location and how it was built, would only allow Robert to insulate 60-70 percent of the crawl space. So we ended up not using his service because we did not think it would be cost effective for us to move forward. The only reason I’m writing this review is because when I meet someone like Robert, I want as many people to know about them. I’m sorry we couldn’t have used his service. So, the best I can do is give him my highest recommendation. Not only will you be impressed with his honesty, but he’s extremely knowledgeable about his business. He answered all my questions. In addition, he followed through in returning my texts and phone calls. I’m confident you will enjoy doing business with Robert if you are ever in need of his service. I know that he would be the first person I would call.

Frank was the third company to come quote me for adding insulation to my attic. I purchase the home over the summer. He was the first to actually inspect the entire attic & give me a full picture of what I needed. (The inspector hadn't even done that as it turned out!) He was professional, thorough & timely. His bid was exceptionally fair & detailed. He showed up on time with an employee that was equally respectful. My home went from have zero to 2" of insulation in places to current code in just a few hours. I'm looking forward to the savings on my utility bills, warm rooms this winter & saying goodbye to the HUGE icicles that have collected as a result of improper insulation. I highly recommend this company. They truly have integrity!

Honest and a GREAT price! We live in a pretty nice neighborhood and tend to get quotes for services that reflect it which is totally unfair. After getting what we believed were several unreasonable quotes to blow in insulation into an attic space that was relatively small, we called WF insulation to get just one more quote. I'm so glad we did. Frank was professional, nice, straightforward, and the most reasonably priced of all of the quotes. Not only that, but after they finished, he came back and knocked $100 off the quote because they were in and out so quickly. My son's room is so much warmer (That was the problem, there was no insulation above his room). No doubt, this is the company to get for all your insulation needs.

My experience is with a representative of the business (I believe named Alexandra) who is very gracious and kind.

The process started with Carla for scheduling - who was very pleasant and kind to work with. After some back and forth phone calls, we got a time setup and she was able to answer some of my preliminary questions. Next Tim showed up to explain the process in detail, quote me a price, and answer all my questions. Tim brought charts, graphs, and statistics showing that RetroFoam was beneficial and safe for homes. Next Brennen and Michale showed up on time and got to work on the house. They both are skilled professionals and hard workers who knew what they were doing and worked diligently to do a great job. Once the job was complete, I was given paperwork to verify the work was done so that I could get a rebate being offered through Black Hills Gas Company. I was also given information on tax credits that were currently being offered from the Government for upgraded foam insulation. While the insulation was being installed, I was able to see through thermal imaging the foam filling up the wall panels. A couple of weeks after the insulation, I actually had Black Hills come out to the house for a Home Energy Audit. They verified through thermal imaging that foam was present and actually having an impact on improving weathering for the home. The Black Hills inspector said the work looked good and commended us as homeowners for making energy effecient upgrades to our home.

I am very impressed by the incredible service provided by RetroFoam! I needed to have the insulation replaced in my attic. Tim, Michale and Brennen worked very hard to remove the old insulation and replace it with the new. They even helped me install a cover for the attic opening and an exhaust for the bathroom fan. From start to finish, they were genuine, positive and professional. Not only did they lay cloth down to protect my floors, but they cleaned up afterwards. I’m very thankful that I chose Retrofoam to help me with this project. I truly enjoyed meeting them and getting their amazing help! Carla was also wonderful, helping me set up the appointment, and arranging payment. Very responsive with communication as well! Highly recommend!

What a find! This company is truly remarkable, not only for their product but for their customer service! I found them through a local TV commercial and was so glad that I called. The owner Tim came out a few days later, gave me an estimate and spent alot of time explaining how the process worked and I was thoroughly impressed. I have a manufactured home in Falcon CO and really needed a good quality insulating product. Within a few days a 2 man crew showed up ON TIME and got to work. The installation was absolutely the best I have ever encountered, from showing me with an infrared camera how the foam was being installed to making sure all walls were filled to capacity. The clean up was fantastic and I am one thrilled customer! Trim boards were installed over the holes in the siding and almost matched the paint exterior - Again a professional, quality job and I am beyond excited to recommend to anyone that using this company will be the best decision you ever make!

Raphael and the crew did a great job on our equipment outbuilding. Since it is designed to require no heat and still stay above freezing, the foam insulation on the ceiling was an integral part of the design. We are very pleased with their work, their professionalism, and their friendliness. We highly recommend them.

Frank was a true professional. Have me an accurate assessment of the job, a very reasonable estimate, and solid advice on how to proceed. He was always available for follow on questions and clearly laid out the whole process. The actual insulation crew (Raphael and Jesus) were excellent. On the first scheduled install date the weather was not conducive to insulation. They explained in great detail why they could not do the job that day. Very informative. Frank rapidly rescheduled a date to install. The next date had much better weather and they did a fantastic job. Completed the job beyond my expectations. The one issue I had with Koala was that they do not open up the spaces to be insulated. A separate contractor needs to prep the area. They recommended Southern Mesa who did a great job of prepping and then closing the void. I would recommend Koala for any insulation needs you have

I received an very reasonable estimate for closed cell foam installation. The guys came by to complete the job were professional and did a great job. They used plastic around the project to protect the exterior of my home. I would recommend this company for insullation projects. I had a gap under the house that led to a deck. They were able to fill it with the foam to seal up that area. I actually was getting an estimate from a landscaping company while they were here. He highly recommend the product they were using. He just volunteered that when he saw the guys working here.

Jorge and Alex were fantastic. I called Jorge on Monday this week to insulate our 20X20 crawlspace after just moving in and he answered on the first call and came Monday evening to write an estimate. He then came in today with Alex and they fully cleaned out and insulated our crawlspace within 2 hrs. Jorge’s professionalism, precision, and speed was impressive. I’d recommend him to anyone. Jorge did open cell insulation on my ADU that is under construction, and R38 batts in my floor joists over the garage and just WOW! From the customer service to the actual job to the clean up, just WOW! I deal with a lot of contractors and Jorge and his team were by far the best I've ever had the pleasure to hire, at the best price. Jorge went above and beyond to expedite my job to meet an inspection deadline. They stayed very late on a Sunday to have it ready for Monday morning. They did all of this with a smile. Really just the nicest owner, and highly knowledgeable you can find in the business. Colorado Springs Insulation will be my go to for insulation from now on. Highly recommend!

I'm an ex-builder. Insulation is one of the most important components of a home in my opinion. Utility prices won't be going down. Homeowners insulation did a closed cell spray insulation for our new home. The quality of the work is amazing. This is an insulation company that knows what they are doing. The home is tight, all of the insulation is installed with care, and the price is excellent. Highly recommended!

Outstanding service and price! The company did the original insulation on our new home and we called them back to top it off after a few years. They communicated well with us, scheduled when it was convenient for us and did an excellent job of cleaning up when they left. I have used Grandview Construction before and they did a great job. That’s why I used their service again when I needed vents and insulation for my attic and garage. Marco is great to work with, and prices are reasonable. I will work with them in the future if the need arises.

Marco and his crew insulated our remodel home and also did our drywall for us. He offered competitive pricing on both products. Like every project there are unfortunately delays, but he was great even when we ran into snags. Our home insulation has been keeping us warm this winter and the drywall finish has been awesome.

We have been using these guys to insulate our houses for Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity in Colorado Springs and Fountain for over 9 years. They do a nice job and are flexible to work with. We are very happy with the work they do.

Robert insulated our basement with spray foam and did an excellent job. Really sealed up the spaces that were allowing air in our basement. I would highly recommend!
