If you want someone who shoots straight and won’t upsell you just to pad the bill, Jim at Doctor Energy Smart is your guy. He took the time to explain all my options clearly and recommended exactly what made the most sense for my house and budget: 1.5" of closed-cell spray foam on the attic roof deck paired with my existing fiberglass batts on the floor. He didn’t push for 3" or 5" just to chase a slightly higher R-value — he gave me the real numbers so I could make a smart financial decision. The difference was immediate. Right after they finished, the attic temperature stopped dropping like it used to. I’ve attached photos of the before/after and a week of temperature data from my attic sensor — you can see the dramatic change the day the job was completed. Jim and his crew are true blue-collar pros: fair price, respectful of my home (drop cloths everywhere, careful around everything), and they worked like it was their own house. Gene was great. He came out quickly to give me an estimate he showed be pictures of work he previously did and the difference it made for their homes. I had a very difficult job but Gene was the only person I received an estimates from that was willing to take on the task. Due to scheduling it took a few weeks before he could come out but once he did they were very quick completing the work. Gene and his son were very professional and did a great job!!! No complaints

Gene was very responsive and professional, educated me on the house design and recommended improvements during home assessment. Installation was very clean with minimal disruption. They were on time each day, cleaned up properly and checked in afterward to make sure the improvements were felt in the home. They even came back and modified some piping in the crawl space to improve heating in the kitchen above. Great small company, highly recommended.

We bought our house a couple of years ago. Very quickly we found that the attic insulation is not adequate. It looks like nobody took care of it for decades. I started looking for somebody who could help with adding extra R30 value to the existing insulation which settled down significantly. It was not easy to find anybody this season. Sometimes prices were too high, sometimes I was asked for 50% of price upfront (sounded like a scam). Other companies asked to wait for six-ten weeks. With Quartz Solutions we quickly negotiated terms of contract. Then they arrived on time on the date we agreed. They covered and sealed all light fixtures and other big items in the attic with foam boards and foam spray. The preparation part took more than three hours and was finished very well done. After that the team started blowing in cellulose insulation. I'm very happy with the work quality and would recommend Quartz Solutions to everybody.

In order to install insulation in my attic and keep it cooler during the summer, I got in touch with five different businesses. Two companies provided quotations that were extremely expensive and for unnecessary work. When Quartz Solutions arrived, they gave me the most competitive price. The consultant was pleasant, obliging, informed, and professional. He said he could get me a deal because they had an opening. Since I already owned the necessary supplies, the task involved installation labor. In around four hours, three people who arrived around 9:30 am put the insulation. When they were finished, they asked me to review their work. They received my highest recommendation and my gratitude.

Josh, Ethan, MC & their staff replaced very old insulation in my attic. The price of the job was competitive and was scheduled & finished in a timely manner. Everyone was courteous, friendly, very well organized and highly professional. I was very impressed - after removing all the old insulation, etc. you could not tell anything was done as there was not a speck of debris anywhere.
