Kevin Rowe came out the same day that I called him and went through the house. He went into the attic and crawl space. He gave a thorough evaluation. That same week I received an estimate that was very reasonable. He and his crew came out and he showed them exactly what to do. They increased the insulation in the attic and under the house. It has been very hot this summer and I can already tell a difference in the amount of time the heat pump runs. I am very satisfied with the price he gave me and the quality of workmanship of his employees. Rowe insulation put the insulation in my house in 1985. They did a great job then and they have always lived up to their Top quality of workmanship. Thank you Kevin Rowe and Row Insulation.

My older home needed a bit more insulation in the attic and I called Mr. Rowe to get an estimate. He called me back right away and came out that week to see the project and give me a price. Next day I received an email detailing the work to be done and the price, Mr. Rowe was honest that it would be about 6 weeks before he could get to my job and that was no problem. His crew came and did the job recently and I was very pleased. They showed up on time & were very polite and professional. Louis even put back the shelf that had to be removed so they could get into the attic. Very happy with Rowe Insulating Company and would definitely use this company again in the future.

Kevin Rowe and his team did an excellent job bringing our attic up to R-38 insulation. They were professional, polite and highly skilled. Kevin was easy to work with, was punctual, and scheduled his work to fit around our activities. One worker did step through our ceiling and made a small hole, but he had a really good sheetrock repairman here at 10:00 am the next morning. His price was reasonable, and I highly recommend him to do insulation work.

Before settling on Green Earth Spray Foam to insulate our new home I met with and discussed my project with four of their competitors. Our project included open cell spray foam in the attic and all above grade exterior walls, closed cell spray foam on on below grade exterior walls and rock wool sound proofing between floors and living areas. Green Earth's pricing was very competitive and I felt very confident they were experts in installation. Matt Youmans at Green Earth was a joy to work with. Professional in every way. He enthusiastically approached our project to make sure the insulation solutions were a perfect match for our project and budget. His team delivered everything they promised on a timely basis. And he expressed true gratitude for having the opportunity to insulate our new home. My builder has 40 years of building experience and he was also very impressed by the quality of their work. I'm beyond impressed and thrilled to have chosen Green Earth Spray Foam and recommend them without reservation. If you need insulation for your home or business, reach out to Matt. You'll be glad you did.

I’m glad I chose Green Earth to do the work.

I was very pleased with my job from Georgia Insulation. They were very knowledgeable about how to address all of my issues and concerns. They worked with me to get the best value out of their service. I chose cellulose over fiberglass and they thoroughly explained the difference between the two with no prejudice for either. They were prompt, showed up when they said and kept their word. The installation crew was very courteous and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone.

We had an excellent experience with Georgia Insulation. The rep was quick to come out for an estimate and got us on the schedule quickly. The team removed the old insulation and vapor barrier and then installed the new product. They did an excellent job and were very professional when we interacted with them I would use them again if I needed this product in the future.

He answered every question with great detail and was very resourceful. A very wonderful experience and would definitely use them again if the opportunity presents.

Frequently Asked Questions — Spray Foam Insulation in Danielsville

These are the questions Danielsville homeowners ask most about spray foam cost, R-value, and open- vs. closed-cell foam — with context for local pricing and roughly 27% typical energy savings. Compare the 4 verified Danielsville contractors above for exact quotes.

Does spray foam insulation work well in hot dry climates like Danielsville?▼
Yes — spray foam is highly effective in hot dry climates like Danielsville, GA. While moisture control is less of a concern than in humid climates, the air sealing properties are critical for keeping hot desert air out and cooled air in. In extreme heat climates, an unsealed attic can reach 150°F+, dramatically increasing AC load. Spray foam in the attic can reduce attic temperatures by 30–40°F.
What is the best area of my home to insulate in Danielsville?▼
In hot dry climates like Danielsville, GA, the attic is typically the highest-impact area to spray foam insulate. Desert sun heats roofs to extreme temperatures, and an uninsulated attic transfers that heat directly into your living space. After the attic, crawl spaces and rim joists are the next highest-impact areas. A local contractor can perform an energy audit to identify where your home loses the most conditioned air.
Is spray foam insulation worth the cost?▼
For most homeowners, yes. Spray foam creates an air-tight seal that traditional insulation cannot match, reducing energy bills by 15–35% annually. It also adds structural rigidity, acts as a moisture and vapor barrier, reduces outside noise, and can increase home resale value. The higher upfront cost compared to fiberglass is typically recovered within 3–7 years. One important note: because spray foam creates a very tight building envelope, proper mechanical ventilation is important to maintain healthy indoor air quality and prevent interior moisture buildup. This is typically handled by an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) — a system that brings fresh outside air in while pushing stale air out, recovering the energy from the outgoing air so you don't waste what you paid to heat or cool — or a Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV), which works similarly but is optimized for cold climates. A qualified contractor will assess whether your home needs ventilation upgrades as part of the installation.
How much does spray foam insulation cost in Danielsville, GA?▼
In Danielsville, GA and the surrounding area, spray foam insulation typically costs $1.00–$3.00 per square foot installed, depending on the type and your home's specifics. Open-cell foam runs $0.44–$0.65 per board foot, while closed-cell foam costs $1.00–$2.00 per board foot. A typical 2,000 sq ft home attic in Danielsville costs $2,000–$6,000. Most Danielsville homeowners recoup this investment within 3–7 years through energy savings of 15–35% annually.
What is the difference between open-cell and closed-cell spray foam?▼
Open-cell spray foam is softer, less dense, and less expensive. It expands significantly and is ideal for interior walls, attics, and soundproofing. Closed-cell spray foam is denser, stronger, and provides a moisture barrier — making it better for exterior applications, crawl spaces, and areas prone to flooding or humidity. Closed-cell also has a higher R-value per inch (R-6 to R-7 vs R-3.5 to R-4 for open-cell). One key difference: open-cell foam allows some vapor movement, while closed-cell acts as a vapor barrier — an important consideration for your home's ventilation needs.
How long does spray foam insulation last?▼
Spray foam insulation is one of the most durable insulation options available, with a lifespan of 80+ years when properly installed. Unlike fiberglass batting which can sag and settle over time, spray foam maintains its shape and insulating properties indefinitely. It will typically outlast the building it is installed in.
How do I find a qualified spray foam insulation contractor in Danielsville, GA?▼
When searching for a spray foam contractor in Danielsville, GA, look for ones who are licensed, insured, and have verifiable reviews. Spray foam requires specialized equipment and training — improper installation can cause off-gassing, adhesion failure, or fire hazards. Ask for references, verify their insurance, and get at least 2–3 quotes. A qualified Danielsville contractor will also assess your home's ventilation needs — a tightly sealed spray foam installation requires adequate mechanical ventilation to prevent moisture and indoor air quality issues. FoamMatch pre-screens all listed contractors in Danielsville for licensing and insurance so you can compare verified professionals in your area.
How long does spray foam installation take?▼
Most residential spray foam jobs take 1–2 days depending on the size of the area. A standard attic takes 4–8 hours. After spraying, the foam cures within 24 hours, though most contractors recommend waiting 24–72 hours before occupying the space due to off-gassing during the curing process.
Does spray foam insulation need to be replaced?▼
No — spray foam insulation does not need to be replaced under normal circumstances. Unlike fiberglass insulation which degrades over time, spray foam maintains its R-value and air sealing properties for the life of the building. The only reasons to remove or replace spray foam are water damage, renovation work, or improper original installation.
