These guys just did the stone work and insulation on our new house! We couldn't have been happier with the work they did. The initial estimate was knowledgeable and insightful. We made a ton of changes based off of the first meeting, and we are so happy we listened. Reasonable pricing. We had rain, all our other subs bailed, these guys installed a canopy and kept.on going. These guys are the best. I built a new house and had a few issues in my crawlspace from the mechanical contractors. I had 1st State install a dehumidifier for me and during a voluntary follow up by them to check on the dehumidifier, they noticed some things on the perimeter of the crawlspace that needed to be repaired from the main water line installation. I told them to do whatever it takes to make things perfect under there and they did. I highly recommend them. They are responsive, reasonably priced, and do great work.

I was rebuilding a concrete plant and building from the late 1940's. I had a block building that went through multiple reconfiguration over the years. The old fiberglass insulation rotted the plywood supporting the shingle roof. I had a new steel roof installed and consulted Kurt for an insulation solution. Kurt came up the next day and followed up with a quote too. He told me he was a few weeks out on another job but was certain he could knock this project out for me. Kurt and his guys came a week earlier than original start date and spray foamed and put a fire retardant paint over the foam in 2 days. I am completely satisfied with his work and the guys even cleaned up the job better than when they arrived. Seal-Right Injection Foam helped keep our costs down and maintain a tight project schedule. I will certainly call Kurt on the next project!

They have done both new home construction spray foam insulation work for us in Middletown, and refurbished residential work at our primary residence in Felton DE as well. Both jobs were first rate,  frustration free, and competitively priced. We were so pleased that we also engaged them to do some industrial insulation work as well on a custom designed commercial aquaculture system.  That work was also outstanding and finished beyond our expectations. In summary we have found that their secret is to assign a project manager to your job that keeps on top of things and actually provides customer service and coordination with the production team doing your work.

This company went above and beyond what I expected. Oliver started by thoroughly inspecting the attic and outlining the actions required for attic upkeep. The air quality significantly improved once the attic was cleaned. They made sure there were no unforeseen issues with their thorough mold examination. Professional mold cleaning was done as necessary. Oliver was effective and on time. I'm really happy with how much nicer the attic looks now.

I hired 1G Services & Roofing Services for attic cleaning after years of neglect. Carter did an exceptional job explaining the process and making sure everything was done correctly. Since they’re also an experienced Roofing Contractor, he checked our shingles and gutters for leaks. During inspection, Carter found hidden mold near the vent, so they quickly handled the mold remediation with great care. The Gas fireplace cleaning made our home smells great. I appreciate their honesty and fair pricing. Highly recommend this company for any home maintenance needs.

After going through a long list of unreliable contractors, I can honestly say that Matt and the team at Koala Insulation of Newark are the only ones who truly have their act together. Dealing with other companies was a total nightmare, but this experience was the exact opposite. I have a 150-year-old house, which presents a lot of unique challenges. Even after the job was finished and paid for, we found a small spot that had been missed because it was obstructed by old materials. Unlike many contractors who disappear once they have your money, Matt came back out immediately to fix it without any argument or additional charge. It is rare to find that level of integrity today. The “after-care” is what really matters, and Koala Insulation stands behind their work 100%. I contacted Dixie online and Richard Harris responded quickly and arranged an inspection of my property. After the inspection we discussed the best options for insulating my property and he was knowledgeable about all the specifics. Within days I had a very reasonable estimate. Accommodating my schedule, the crew arrived and the job began on time. The crew was very efficient and did a great job cleaning up the old insulation that was removed and were very careful to protect my garden my and property during the job. Richard also arranged for the crew to video document the property in the “before” and “after” condition so I could see the work as soon as it was performed. Having lived in the Dewey Beach area for 25 years, I have had my share of less than satisfactory home improvement experiences but this time I have been very satisfied with the process and result. Highly recommend Delmarva for your insulation needs. We called them and Eid came out pretty quick to estimate the job. It only took about two weeks for the job to be completed. The installers were courteous and respectful of our property. They cleaned up after the job was done and the cost was reasonable. We felt quite comfortable with their employees in our home. The office staff is pretty amazing too. They kept us updated on timing of completion! Thank you Delmarva Insulation! Job well done!!!

I had an energy audit completed on my house by an independent contractor as part of the energize DE program. One finding was insufficient attic insulation. I had two estimates, one company on the 'approved program contractor list', to take advantage of the state rebate program, and one outside the program (Delmarva). The in-program contractor was more than double for the same job and didn't even do an in-person inspection. Nothing fishy going on there. Anyway, overall experience with Delmarva, from estimate to job, was perfect. Very responsive and organized. Installers and office folks as well.

I got a referral from a neighbor in Wilmington for asbestos removal to County Environmental/County Group. Ben responded quickly, showed up for a quote within a day or two, and got me on the schedule in two weeks. We put off asbestos removal from the pipes in our 100yr old house because we thought it would be extremely expensive. It was a lot cheaper than we thought and the guys were in and out in a day after removing everything. I couldn't recommend them enough for anyone looking to get asbestos removed from their old house.

I could not get the quantity of insulation I needed from any of the big box stores without waiting for months. I went online and ordered from Insulation4US. I did not get an order confirmation email with order number which made me a little nervous. However, I received an email 2 days later saying my product would ship in 2 days. After 4 days I still had not received the product. I called and spoke with a pleasant sales person that said there was a shipping issue and it would ship out in 3 days. As promised, my insulation arrived when she said it would. It was a week late, but better than months late. I would order from this company again.

Care about the sale and not the customer. After explaining the project the first shipment arrived and the panels were 2 feet shorter than I needed. There was no discussion with rep to confirm order matched spec. Charged me over $500 for that delivery. Decided to rectify the problem by ordering 24 in pieces. Again charge me $500 for shipping in a crate that weighed over 300lbs for 11 pieces that I can pick up in one!! Charge was $25 per piece. Finally, and what I should have done in the first place is I went to a local distributor who has the panels, I can pick them up tomorrow and they are $23 a piece. Nothing about working with this company was good. It’s all about the quote and the payment. Not in the least customer centric. I expressed my resigned disappointment to my “rep”, of course no whoops (whatever happened to customer is always right? If you are a DIY(er) - don’t use this company.

I wasn’t going to bother leaving a review after they refused to ship my order of rafter baffles that their website “miscalculated” shipping costs. I replied to them on how that is a poor business practice and I would never do business with someone like that and then they send me an email asking me to refer a friend! lol! I definitely won’t be referring anyone to a company who doesn’t honor a sale that their sale system misquoted shipping. That’s not the customers fault, that is an internal problem. I would never do this to my customer and will never do business with anyone who operates like that.
