We recently had our attic insulated to an R60 by Josh and his team at Lincoln Insulation, and the results have been astonishing. Josh even handled the process of working directly with LES to secure our energy rebate, making the whole experience seamless. Since the insulation was installed, our AC hasn’t needed to run at all... the difference in comfort is immediate and impressive. The house stays cool, is noticeably quieter, and just feels more solid overall. It's not just about saving energy; it’s about creating a better living environment. Our almost 100-year-old house has never had insulation in the rafters, as the considerable attic space was never finished. In deciding to finish this additional floor in our house, Josh helped us figure out a plan to bring our insulation up to current efficiency standards. His team vacuumed out the old blown insulation in between the floor joists, spray-foamed the entire roof deck with R-38, and then added batt insulation back to the floor joists. The team was very efficient and did a great job tidying up the work area at the end of the project. We had to reschedule at one point due to delays in other parts of our project — Josh was very flexible in working with us. This type of project is not inexpensive, but we felt like we got our money’s worth. And now our home is much more energy efficient!
