Attic Prime

We went through a full remodel that included new roofing, so upgrading the insulation at the same time made sense. Once the roof decking was inspected, the crew sprayed foam directly between rafters to seal everything tight. Below, they replaced the attic floor insulation with fresh blown-in material. The best part was how they coordinated with the roofer to ensure that vents and chases remained accessible for inspections. They also walked us through the differences in R-values required in different sections of the home, which made the process less confusing. Having it done as part of the remodel turned out to be the right move, since it’s easier to address everything at once rather than doubling back later.

For years, heat used to escape straight through the roof each winter. When we finally cleared the attic, the old insulation was dusty and paper-thin.
