Guardian added blow-in wall insulation on the older part of our home (built in 1936 with no insulation and tricky framing) and now the interior walls are no longer warm to the touch! The stucco ended up being almost like concrete but they persevered without raising their quote - even though the drill bits wore out quickly. Their technician worked magic on matching the stucco surface when filling all the holes and I honestly can't tell where they drilled. Being very particular about construction quality, that's the best compliment I can give!

I can't say enough good things about Russell Yarmus and Guardian Home Energy! I felt like my heating bills in the winter were WAY too high last year, and yet the house was quickly cold after the heater shut off. Likewise, my electric bills in the summer were WAY too high, secondary to our use of air conditioning. I hired Russell to do a home energy audit. He was VERY thorough and knowledgeable, and most importantly was very honest. He did not once try to upsell me. In fact, he convinced me that extensive insulation under the flooring (in the crawl space) was NOT a cost efficient way to address our concerns. When it it turned out that his two insulators could not access our attic space through the hole made in the ceiling, he came out to do the insulating himself (with Mark) when we replaced the roof, so that he could make changes and pivot as circumstances deemed appropriate. The end result was excellent, and I enjoyed being involved in the work that was being done. Mark does an outstanding job patching and paint matching so that you cannot even tell where work has been done on the interior. The house was immediately noticeably cooler in the summer and less expensive to heat in the winter. The price for the work was very competitive, and did NOT increase one cent when the mode of access to the attic space changed. I am VERY pleased with this investment of time and energy, and have recommended Russell Yarmus and Guardian Home Energy to neighbors and friends. He was initially recommended by our HERS inspector when I advised him that another insulation professional intended to insulate our crawl space.
