Having the spray insulation put into the garage we closed in for an extra bedroom was a God send! When I tell you the temperature difference in that room versus others has me contemplating doing the entire house, I am not kidding! As far as I am concern this is the best insulation you could possibly have. We are building new construction and in subzero weather with no heat the building stayed in the mid forties. I recently had my heating/air system replaced and I wanted to have my attic space spray foam insulated, I was given the name of Comfort Shield RetroFoam by the heating/air company. I contacted the owner, Cash, after visiting with him on the phone he set a time that same day to come and assess my attic space. Cash has 2 services, insulation removal and spray foam. Cash had the insulation removal guys at my house within a couple of days, my heating/air system was then installed and within a couple of days Cash had the spray foam guys headed my way, he made it easy.........I like easy. Thank you Cash for the excellent service you provided. I can tell a significant difference when walking into our house after having the spray foam insulation installed, money well spent.

We hired Comfort Shield Retrofoam to replace the insulation in our crawlspace under the house. We had fiberglass batting, but an infestation of rodents made that stuff literally a rat's nest! Comfort Shield came to our house and cleared out all the nasty, dirty fiberglass matting, cleaned the area, then put in spray-on rigid foam. The foam job took one day and there was a bit of an odor the first day, but that cleared out by the next afternoon. New foam insulation is rigid, no way for rodents to rip it up or make a nest in it! Crawlspace is now clean and safe, we can easily get in and see our water heater and furnace without pushing aside dirty fiberglass hanging down everywhere. As to cost, the new foam insulation cost about the same per sq ft as new carpet. Very reasonable considering all the work that had to be done to clean out the old space and haul away the nasty old insulation. All work was done on time. Work crew was considerate and finished quickly, did not leave any mess behind. Happy to recommend this service and company to anyone, we are very glad we got this done before the really cold weather sets in!
