Initially, I had contacted Green Home Logic to renovate my living room and install insulation because of air infiltration. The properties are compact, where the driveway is adjacent to each neighbor's house. However, during my COVID-19 telecommuting, I noticed car exhaust fumes and other undesirable odors was entering my home and not leaving during the winter months. I contacted Green Home Logic, and Geoffrey listened to my problem and recommended a more efficient and low-cost solution instead of performing an interior renovation. My home was built in the 1950s, and Geoffrey proposed blow-in insulation that will cost less than renovating, provide an air seal barrier to control air leakage, and increase the home comfort feel. Geoffrey's crew completed the entire project in one day. His crew member explained the whole process (see video) and meticulously cleaned all areas (inside & out). It has been a few days since the insulation process, and I don't smell any residual car fumes, cigar smoke, or a neighbor's outdoor activity. I am currently pleased with the outcome and can't wait to feel the difference between hot summer and cold winter. Geoffrey, is very resourceful and provides the homeowner with many options on renovating and financing the project.
Echoing earlier reviews and confirming them. Just a great experience, they handle all the paperwork, are punctual, courteous and do excellent work. My specific team was Miguel's. Great experience all around, best experience I've ever had with a contractor period. They left it cleaner than they found it, honestly. They never once tried to upsell, and actually instead seemed to advocate keeping what was still working (they test a few things). I got the attic insulation and a few other things done, and am very happy with all of it. In the future, whenever I need any heating or other related items that they handle, they're going to be my first choice. I don't usually write reviews. But I wanted anyone that was in my position when searching for a local company for this work to have my experience to make their decision.
The folks at Green Home Logic really know their business. They did some really clean work in two old 1950s attics with some mixture of fiberglass and blown-in cellulose. They left the rest of the house cleaner than any contractor that's been in there, too. They worked with us on finding the right set of insulation and air sealing to make it work with our changing schedule, budget, the PSEG rebates, and accommodating some upcoming plans we have for next year. We had the work done in early November, so we had the heat already running. We could tell an *immediate* difference in the comfort and warmth of the house that evening. It's tough to find good contractors, and I'd be happy to have Geoffrey, Miguel, and the rest of the crew back.

We had 15 year old blown in insulation on top of 50 year old rolled insulation in our attic, nothing doing a good job. I wanted it all taken out and replaced with modern materials and methods as we were also having an HVAC system out in up there. After speaking to a few insulation contractors, we chose Delfino. I liked their very long history. Thier sales person Fred came over and after a decent inspection, offered his advice on the project and next day his proposal which was clear and competitive. They accommodated my scheduling, showed when they said they would and the team that did the work made sure they got every bit of the old materials out while keeping our house was kept clean and they clearly knew what they were doing. Now a week or so later, the temps in our house are noticeably more even and we don't have to crank the thermostat as high as we used to get comfortable. Dont underestimate the value of proper insulation apparently! Nothing will go perfect and it didn't here either. But how accessible, approachable and driven to customer satisfaction is what I look for. Delfino is worth a talk! (Thank you Maria btw!)
Great company! Prompt estimate and great price. We had them insulate fire caulk and air seal our entire new second floor and the workmanship is outstanding! Very professional, clean and beautiful job done. They finished the job way ahead of schedule. Highly recommend!
We had a very disappointing experience with Delfino Insulation. A representative came to our home and provided a quote that included all of the rooms shownβnothing was excluded. We accepted their proposal based on their assurance that the work would be completed by a specific date, as our sheetrock installation was scheduled for the following day. The day before the job, Delfino called to say they couldnβt come because their crew was still working on another project. We made it clear that postponing wasnβt possible, so they sent just one person with insufficient materials to complete the job. The worker was there from about 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM and left with two bedrooms and part of our living room uninsulated. We had to purchase additional insulation ourselves at retail price and hire others to finish the work to stay on schedule. I spoke with Robert, Maria, and Tammy about our frustration, but Delfino refused to take responsibility or offer any resolution. We will not be using Delfino Insulation for any future projects, and we strongly recommend that others confirm timelines and scope in writing before hiring this company.
