I’m writing this review while the Gold Star crew is finishing up one of my projects. This is as good of an outfit as you’ll find in construction. The office staff was super responsive - Jesse came out to visit the job site twice and addressed every concern and helped make the right insulation decisions when the project underwent a major siding upgrade. The crew of installers were polite and friendly; they fulfilled every request and were meticulous with their work. I also need to mention that the job site was left as clean as they found it. I am happy to have found an insulation pro that I can go back to on future projects. Five Gold Stars all the way.

Two excellent teams to complete the attic insulation. Julio, Arbeno,and Wilzon took out the old insulation. And Neptali and Isidro blown in the fiberglass insulation. Neptali is very helpful, meticulous and knowledgeable in making sure everything is properly sealed for the installation. Thank you for a job well done by both teams.

Excellent service from the 1st phone call. They were right on time, professional and extremely polite. They cleaned up everything when they were done, and the best part is that I could tell a difference in the temperature in my house immediately!! I work remotely and normally my heater turns on and off all day but today my house has stayed at a steady temp and my heater has not come on for hours. On top of all that they had the best price in town.

This home builder is horrible. We and our whole development, have had nothing but problems. Many buyers from the Vanden Ranch development have started legal action and the homes are subpar quality. Half of us didn’t even pass initial inspections from the county and VA appraisers. Please research before considering this home-builder.

Our experience with the sales staff was mixed. Our original sales person was okay but our final sales lady, Jennifer, was great. She helped us get the house we wanted and is still helpful when we need her today. The service and maintenance department leaves something to be desired. That adventure started when they rushed finishing our home so our move in could fall into the current month. The house was not ready and though we purchased a brand new home, it was not in the perfect condition I expected. Additional issues have been construction debris not being cleared from gutters after build. We were told that at our one year walk through anything we needed repaired would be done. This was not true, touch ups and recaulking were not completed as promised. Our biggest issue that is still not resolved is a plumbing issue where the PVC in front of the house became detached. It did not crack or break from outside force, it literally separated which would be nearly impossible had the pipe been properly glued and attached during the build. The head of maintenance advised us to have a plumber out to repair as he couldn't reach the original plumbers. Once work had been completed, we were essentially ghosted by him. We took our issues to the Customer Service Manager after months of waiting and he is now trying to low ball our reimbursement. We are out $4,500+ for a mistake made during the build of our home. Buyer beware. Get an underground plumbing addition to your homeowners warranty because the builder is not interested once you purchase!
