Hank's is a great hardware store, they often have parts and tools that no one else supplies, but even Hank's is stuck sourcing parts and supplies (cheap toilet parts) from China - since Chinese companies are the only ones that makes these parts anymore. Since everyone in the supple chain takes their percentage these cheap parts have become expensive so watch out. For these cheap parts and assembles I recommend purchasing by taking out the middlemen and buy directly from China. China/Hank's price $10 for an o-ring. China/Amazon $1.29 same o-ring Similar pricing differences for other parts, which is competitive with Lowes, HD, Walmart local hardware stores. I have three toilets and they need parts or whole assembly replacement (even when not often used) every 12 to 18 months each. So, I'm always replacing cheap parts and assembles - think lightbulb theory. These parts are designed to fail and regularly. Think about how our landfills and oceans are filled with all this junk and it's not just toilet parts with planned obsolescence.

We have used DADS HVAC for years. Always on time, professional, considerate, Dustin and his team are extremely knowledgeable and hardworking.

Jason Eliasen★★★★★a year ago

DADS was recommended to us by a friend the first time we had an issue with our A/C, about 7 years ago. Dustin came out right away, told us what the issue was and what our options were. Yesterday, it was like deja vou. Friendly, fast service, up front about the issue, options, and pricing. Highly recommend DADS.

Ashley Chrisman★★★★★3 years ago

Our property management had DADS contact me yesterday because of an issue with another company that left us with no AC. The temp in my house was 88 degrees. Dustin called me the same day and came out this morning! He was professional, punctual, and most importantly, our AC is working now! In this heat, it's hard to find quality companies that are able to get out so quickly. Thanks, Dustin!

Oh wow we had work done by Tom today, we are thrilled with the quality of his work. I am a super picky person & much to my surprise so is Tom phew!!! I was delighted to hear that. We are super happy we chose to work with him, since it is really hard to find a good contractor, that knows what they're doing. He has 35yrs of experience in this field & it definitely shows, he had lots of little tricks to blend the texture so you can't tell a patch job has been done, very impressive. When he was all done my husband brushed up against the wall & smudge the texture yikes!!! Tom was super cool about it, he took his finger & blended it so you couldn't tell. We had all kinds of jobs done, from minor fixes that the original home builder had done to a whole wall full of nail pops & gang box repairs. He matched the original texture that we have & somehow made it look much better than it originally was. He had a super nice apprentice Luis, that blew me away with his prep work, our whole kitchen & all areas they worked in were protected, he even made a pathway through the entire house to protect the floors, they went above & beyond & then cleared everything up at the end. Thank you, Luis. I sent Tom pictures of all the areas that needed fixing, he quoted me a price & stuck to it when he came out. He gave me a lot of honest feedback on our drywall problem areas. We are having him come back to fix another wall we didn't think could be fixed, but Tom is going to work his magic on it & make the texture job look better than what we have now. We want to prime & paint the areas he textured today, so he's going to do that for us as well. I found them to be very nice people, friendly, polite, extremely professional & very conscientious, Tom told us a few interesting & funny stories; he's a very likeable person. It's very refreshing to have a straightforward transaction with a contractor because there are so many out there that don't know what they're doing. I would highly recommend Tom & Luis super happy we can keep his number for future jobs & referrals. Thank you Tom.

I called Tom, sent a couple of photos of what I needed done and got a quote over the phone that same day. We had a bunch of old speaker boxes that needed to be cut out and patched over. Tom showed up on time when he was scheduled and finished the job in a couple of hours. We missed a couple of spots in the original request and Tom fixed those as well. Tom's price was also very reasonable. Would recommend Tom to anyone.

We hired Tom Esposito to remove our popcorn ceilings, re-texture and paint them and it was a pleasure working with him. Tom and his helper were on time each day, courteous, professional and left zero mess or plaster dust. Tom is extremely skilled at producing a very flat ceiling with a bit of texture and we are very happy with how our ceilings turned out. If you need drywall repairs including popcorn ceiling removal, Tom is your man!

Tim at the Temecula Lowe’s is amazing! I was looking for a seasonal item and had been back several times waiting for it to be unloaded off a transfer truck, but somehow no one could find it. Tim stuck with me and hunted all over the store to help me find it. His customer service and care is what makes customers keep coming back. Thank you!

I purchased 3 kitchen appliances on 3/13/2025. Suzie Brockman was the sales person. Very helpful and generous with her time. She knows her appliances and will listen to what you need and what you can afford. Later on during the process, I was confuse on how to get a refund and she was there helping me still a month later. I did notice that the employees here help each other a lot. I live closer to Home Depot but I think I will make the extra 3 miles to Lowes. A male co-worker remarked that Home Depot is a “Man’s Store” while Lowe’s is “for The Ladies” so I said “ I thought I saw you there the other day” (rolling my eyes while walking away!

Frequently Asked Questions — Spray Foam Insulation in Temecula

Does spray foam insulation work well in hot dry climates like Temecula?
Yes — spray foam is highly effective in hot dry climates like Temecula, CA. While moisture control is less of a concern than in humid climates, the air sealing properties are critical for keeping hot desert air out and cooled air in. In extreme heat climates, an unsealed attic can reach 150°F+, dramatically increasing AC load. Spray foam in the attic can reduce attic temperatures by 30–40°F.
What is the best area of my home to insulate in Temecula?
In hot dry climates like Temecula, CA, the attic is typically the highest-impact area to spray foam insulate. Desert sun heats roofs to extreme temperatures, and an uninsulated attic transfers that heat directly into your living space. After the attic, crawl spaces and rim joists are the next highest-impact areas. A local contractor can perform an energy audit to identify where your home loses the most conditioned air.
Is spray foam insulation worth the cost?
For most homeowners, yes. Spray foam creates an air-tight seal that traditional insulation cannot match, reducing energy bills by 15–35% annually. It also adds structural rigidity, acts as a moisture and vapor barrier, reduces outside noise, and can increase home resale value. The higher upfront cost compared to fiberglass is typically recovered within 3–7 years. One important note: because spray foam creates a very tight building envelope, proper mechanical ventilation is important to maintain healthy indoor air quality and prevent interior moisture buildup. This is typically handled by an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) — a system that brings fresh outside air in while pushing stale air out, recovering the energy from the outgoing air so you don't waste what you paid to heat or cool — or a Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV), which works similarly but is optimized for cold climates. A qualified contractor will assess whether your home needs ventilation upgrades as part of the installation.
How much does spray foam insulation cost?
Spray foam insulation typically costs $1.00–$3.00 per square foot installed, depending on the type and your location. Open-cell foam runs $0.44–$0.65 per board foot, while closed-cell foam costs $1.00–$2.00 per board foot. A typical 2,000 sq ft home attic costs $2,000–$6,000. Most homeowners recoup this investment within 3–7 years through energy savings of 15–35% annually.
What is the difference between open-cell and closed-cell spray foam?
Open-cell spray foam is softer, less dense, and less expensive. It expands significantly and is ideal for interior walls, attics, and soundproofing. Closed-cell spray foam is denser, stronger, and provides a moisture barrier — making it better for exterior applications, crawl spaces, and areas prone to flooding or humidity. Closed-cell also has a higher R-value per inch (R-6 to R-7 vs R-3.5 to R-4 for open-cell). One key difference: open-cell foam allows some vapor movement, while closed-cell acts as a vapor barrier — an important consideration for your home's ventilation needs.
How long does spray foam insulation last?
Spray foam insulation is one of the most durable insulation options available, with a lifespan of 80+ years when properly installed. Unlike fiberglass batting which can sag and settle over time, spray foam maintains its shape and insulating properties indefinitely. It will typically outlast the building it is installed in.
How do I find a qualified spray foam insulation contractor?
Look for contractors who are licensed, insured, and have verifiable reviews. Spray foam requires specialized equipment and training — improper installation can cause off-gassing, adhesion failure, or fire hazards. Ask for references, verify their insurance, and get at least 2–3 quotes. A qualified contractor will also assess your home's ventilation needs — a tightly sealed spray foam installation requires adequate mechanical ventilation to prevent moisture and indoor air quality issues. FoamMatch pre-screens all listed contractors for licensing and insurance so you can compare verified professionals in your area.
How long does spray foam installation take?
Most residential spray foam jobs take 1–2 days depending on the size of the area. A standard attic takes 4–8 hours. After spraying, the foam cures within 24 hours, though most contractors recommend waiting 24–72 hours before occupying the space due to off-gassing during the curing process.
Does spray foam insulation need to be replaced?
No — spray foam insulation does not need to be replaced under normal circumstances. Unlike fiberglass insulation which degrades over time, spray foam maintains its R-value and air sealing properties for the life of the building. The only reasons to remove or replace spray foam are water damage, renovation work, or improper original installation.
